    By the way, the reason Aeromexico uses the Dreamliner in a domestic flight it’s because it is actually a connection flight. Here’s the real deal: Mexico - Tijuana - Shangai

    At about 9:15 you hear her panning full on.
    80,000 hp.

      Sounds pretty good doesn't it? Love that sound!

      If you know how they work, really know....;
      You can hear every stage of them running.
      Love your video.
      Last big engine bird I flew on was a 767 to Reno NV from Vancouver in (choke) 1985.
      Loved it.

      Another one I really love to hear start is a helicopter with good OLD Alison 250.
      2 turbines.
      Sounds great.

    unfortunately I dont think AMX is doing TIJ to MEX in a 787 anymore. At least not from now until spring

    • @sanspotter
      @sanspotter  8 лет назад +1

      Really? That's a shame if true! I bet they attracted a lot of SAN and LAX passengers by putting the 787 on that route. Heck, that's what made me buy the ticket instead of going with Volaris from SAN.

      SANspotter 787 out of TIJ might be seasonal

      I just contacted Aeromexico today and they confirmed that Mexico City - (Tijuana) - Shanghai in late February will be operated with a 787 so I suppose it'll be the same on the way back.

    Es interesante ver como se flexiona el ala al despegar y el poco ruido que hacen los motores

      Son las nuevas turbinas que tienen detalles para que no se escuche fuerte y tenga más comodidad los pasajeros

      Nada tiene que ver que sea Boeing, Airbus, Embraer etc, ellos no fabrican los motores, ahí ves que estos son de General Electric, todas las empresas que fabrican motores llámese GE, Rolls Roys, Pratt & Whitney, CFM etc, están buscando hacerlos más silenciosos y obviamente eficientes

    That SP is a rare and fascinating bird. It could fly up to 46K feet at up to .9 Mach number. Like a 747 born without growth hormone. I believe NASA used (uses?) one...... Good thing AM chose the GE's. The Rolls Royce engines are sometimes shit.

      Haha, yeah, there is! It's amazing to me that that AeroMexico has flown nonstop flights to NRT and PVG out of TIJ. I don't think those flights are operating now, but they are bringing in the 787-9 soon on the MEX route.
