For me nothing will ever hit harder than Alanis Morissette You Oughta Know, especially the live version with Taylor Hawkins on drums and Chris Chaney on bass. The way Alanis is spitting venom with her lyrics and you truly feel her raw emotions like anger, sadness and how hurt she was through the lyrics and voice is so powerful. As a 17 year old girl I had never heard anything like it and I could barely speak English at the time but I knew that it spoke to me and I knew I needed to know more. Now it's 30 years later I have a bachelors degree in music production and Alanis has been a huge inspiration for me through my musical journey. Jagged Little Pill is still one of the best albums to ever have been recorded and released.

Also, number 1 doesn't have a chorus as it doesnt follownthe definition of a chorus, it has what you correctly called a climax. Choruses have to repeat DURING a song. There's no comparison to Bo-Rap. I don't know who compared Boston to Queen, but they're wrong. THAT SAID, _Boston_ has gotta be the best _debut_ album of all time. There are blockbuster albums - Rumours (made the list), Hot Space, Hotel California (made the list), Thriller... but scoring huge with your first effort? That honour belongs to Boston. (If you wanted to compare Boston to Queen, the "We're Ready Now / The Launch / Cool the Engines" gets somewhere close in variety and musical epicness... but still. Queen themselves dared not do Bohemian Rhapsody live.)

I'm Still Standing has a way better chorus than Rocketman

This is the first time I really heard the singer of Journey that ISN'T Steve Perry. WOW, he's got pipes!
Perry will ALWAYS be my favorite but, I have to give props to that young man (Sorry, I don't know his name).

I agree, Steve Perry is the best. Arnel Pineda is the current lead singer and he definitely has the right stuff.

They could have picked way way, way better choruses.
    Emotions
    Like A Prayer
    Escapade
    Sussusudio
    Walk Like An Egyptian
    Nasty
    Never
    Eternal Flame
    Exhale Shoop Shoop
    Take on Me

A few of the chosen songs are excellent ones, but don't have choruses that go THAT hard, like Hotel California or Rocket Man.
      My picks:
      Gives You Hell
      The Dog Days Are Over

@jose.damiani dog days are over is a good one. I can't believe LIKE A PRAYER was not on the list

Not including Steve Perry for Don't Stop Believin' is downright outrageous. He’s the heart and soul of that iconic song!

The original Tom Cochrane version of Life is a Highway is much better.
