Do you have a video on how to wire the headunit to have consumer shutdown again? If not can you make a video on how to do it with the E53? i-bus leaving home function doesn't work until the headunit has booted up. it seems there is a way to get it back but I can't get it to work with my E53 facelift :(
Hi, my BMW is the 2005 X5 E53 with the tuner in the back boot. I have to buy the Aerpro BMW Quadlock Extention (APFH022) to connect the aftermarket head unit to the tuner in the back (underneath the spare tyre). However, while everything is working, there is no sound from the DSP. Not sure if you have any suggestion? Thanks
Hi thanks for the video.. I have a question i just bought an xtron unit for my 2003 bmw e39. And i was wondering for that ibus app to work where and what exactly do i have to buy?
I have inatalled one of these units from xtrons in my e53, and to be honest, it's kind of a pain. I find I always have to hit "dsp" every time I start up the X5 in order to get sound. . I also find the system laggy and thats with an 8gb set up. I want to attempt to mount an SSD and use the samsung software to transfer the memory...

www.reslers.de/IBUS/ I believe this is the module that was in the test car. It didn’t have the antenna connected but it shouldn’t be a problem. Some people do end up with issues when the antenna system requires remote power and they don’t connect that to the aftermarket stereo. Tbh once you have full android most people won’t use the radio.
