Just went thru the fitting process last night with Jason and Kevin and I can’t use the words to explain how amazing this process was. They fitted me in the 639cb black, which I will say don’t be afraid of this blade, it super forgiving but so playable, amazing clubs. I was not rushed, we went thru a series of shafts with the launch monitor, explained in detail every part of the process to me. Can’t say enough about this company. I’ve played big box big money brands all my life and I will tell you Sub 70 is totally on the level equipment wise, big box can not touch the personal attention of these guys.
Update. Still really like them. I would not have done the CBs in black if I could do it again. They are wearing badly, but still feel great. I would actually go CB 5-pw and wouldn't think twice since they feel great. No thoughts on replacing them after two summers.
Thanks for the thoughts. I am in similar situation. Am considering a combo with the raw finish. Maybe 5 and 6 699 Pro combo with 7 -P CB. What is between your 3 wood and 4 i?
There is a bit of a gap. When my game is on, playing a lot and back is loose yardages look like this: 4 203, 5 187(-16), 6 173(-14), 7 160(-13), 8 145(-15), 9 135(-10), p 125(-10). BUT I have no problem backing off to fill the gap and the extra distance when I'm hitting the ball well in the 4-7 is welcome. For example, I got myself together for a 3 day tourney in July and was hitting the 4i 203 which was the perfect distance for two of the par 3s. When I'm playing every other week with a shorter swing, slower hands and less solid shots the yardages are more like this: 4 185, 5 175(-10), 6 165(-10), 7 155(-10), 8 137(-17), 9 125(-12), p 115(-10). Essentially the gap gets bigger between game improvement and forged when my swing is off. The hollowbody makes up for my crappy swing in this case. I'm also short (5'6") with short arms. So when my swing is off, long irons suffer more than average. However I've been playing for 30 years and am a 3.5 handicap, so I have a pretty solid feel game and usually play up a set of tees when not prepping for competitive rounds leaving me with the 8-pw into most greens after the drive anyway.

Any chance you could post up some pics on imgur of the wear? I'd love to see before I buy some
@@timkorn2102 I have a new phone on the way, I'll try to get something up soon
I searched for 699 videos and found yours. Good video and great putter head cover!
Well how about a playing review? They look fantastic!

Beautiful set
Hey man, great video. I’m looking to get the same set but 7-PW in the CB. As far as the lofts, what adjustments did you make?
Great video, thanks. Can you update on gaping between the cavities and 699pro.

Man I wished they made the 699 pro in lefthand
how do the 639 cbs feel? I have the i500 right now (got an amazing deal on them) but im wearing through them pretty fast and they are hard as a rock.
why cb's in the scoring irons? thats a ukranian combo set
699pro (4-7) is actually a hollowbody head and much more forgiving than the forged CBs. Just looks the opposite for anyone new to hollowbody.
are you wearing crocs
Love those ferules
