    small opening in back limits what can go it in. everyone has a side by side now. 3 people to put out the bunk beds? lots of cool features, but I hate having to "build" my trailer and then take it apart every time. nice bathroom. nice exterior, I love the suspension system, I love the E-Brake built in.

      Thank you for your input. There’s a lot of different types of gear that this trailer can haul, but you’re correct that not every ATV or quad will fit. Versatility and flexibility are very important in this model. In the future, maybe we’ll build a more traditional toy hauler!

    Okay, I love that bathroom and the fact that they used an amber light for the night light is 100% high five. It's roomier than our 5th wheel. I love the shelves in front of the toilet.
    That bed!!!! This camper needs to get some kind of award. The people who created this camper are super creative and smart.

    I like it! One suggestion that I have for Ember would be to go ahead and generator prep that front upper rack. It looks like it would hold an RV generator nicely.

    Great ideas here!!! Big negative for me is the round sink - ss rectangular deep sink is my preference. Extending the counter Right of the sink would provide more work space and a little extra room for the rectangular sink. - Thank you Myles! 😘

    This is fun and versatile. That is what RVing is all about. The kitchen is a bit sparse but what is there looks to be useful. I'd prefer a square sink and I'm sure there must be some way to put an extra swing up or flip up counter. I will repeat each time I see it, the microwave/air fryer oven is too high for the average woman to reach. I would opt for a shorter window, cabinets about 6 inches lower, and a micro/convect oven lower as well with a vent and not the hokey vent they used here. The front bunk area that makes it into a king bed is genius and that is an important feature. I can see why you would be impressed. Some clever ideas were used here. Nice tour.

    I really like these trailers. We looked at one, but it wasn’t this layout. This would work pretty well for us, especially with the ramp/patio in the back so I could roll my trike in (e-bike trike). I love the option of the twin or king bed configuration!! Wow - very cool! The only things I need that this doesn’t have is storage for blankets, fans, clothes, etc. just not enough storage and nightstands.
    I would like to see Ember make a version more for couples - we have no need for extra beds.
    I’d like to see the front couch area with more cabinet/closet storage and put a Murphy king bed in the back, so when we take our e-bikes out, we just drop the bed down. We also need a nightstand on each side of the bed because we each use a CPAP at night.
    We are keeping our NOBO 19.2 (a “couples coach”) for this camping season, but want to upgrade to something that makes it easier to bring our e-bikes (trike). But I just don’t like the look of most toy haulers that are made mostly for 4-wheelers and dirt bikes.

      @@EmberRecreationalVehicles thanks for the reply. Here are our “wish list items”:
      1) low hitch weight - we are not interested in buying a 3/4 ton truck, but virtually all trailers with cargo space are designed for heavier cargo. We just want to bring our e-bike & e-trike and maybe an inflatable paddleboard. We do not need something that will carry a 4-wheeler. It’s like no RV camper company gets this about the needs of boomer campers. Between 2024-2027, over 11,200 of us turn 65 EVERY DAY! We are all retiring or getting ready to retire and it’s our time. Maybe put together a focus group and ask what we want. The dealer where we looked at Embers is not selling them.
      2) ramp/patio - to make it easier to load bikes and a patio to relax and our dogs can relax on.
      3) minimum true queen bed or king
      4) storage
      5) quality construction
      6) double axle
      7) electric refrigerator
      8) solar
      We love the outlander and have been smitten with the patio, etc. it’s nearly perfect, but the hit hitch weight is a non-negotiable item. Please fix it.

    It’s Interesting, I’d really call it Overland Lite. A few things I like: The general layout is great, can store bikes/motorcycle inside at night, Bed system is fantastic, brilliant idea!, porch is cool, nice dry bath size, wish I had an option for a Dry Flush Laveo, or Seperaett Urine Diverting toilet (hate black tanks). Appears to have a solid metal underbelly pan! KUDO’s if that’s true. Cons for me: With a ball coupler, and a straight departure angle it’s not a true overland trailer, but good enough for flat desert camping. Wheel lock is a cool idea, but it’s going to take out a knee or 2 while deployed, easy fix though. Suspension is OK for light overlanding, better than leafs, but Curt’s not really known for suspension, maybe it’s just private labeled TBD. The biggest drawback is it looks like a lippert frame, nuff said. Don’t mean to beat up on it too bad as traditional trailer manufacturers are climbing on the overland trend. Customers just need to know it’s limitations. I’d be interested in knowing the cabinet construction, insulation, power, and plumbing details, heated tanks?, is it a 4 season trailer? Hope they will provide details on that stuff, thanks for the nice overview!

    If you combined this with a Outdoors RV you might have a winner. I like the composite shell and 12v A/C. Needs a bit more battery capacity, maybe 400A with 12v only fridge. How much water does it hold? Black/grey tank size?Etc ( yes I will go to their website and find out ). Those railings for the back deck are heavy and take up interior space when stored. We ditched ours. Don't get the multi level counter tops. At least they thinking a bit more outside the box.

    • @EmberRecreationalVehicles
      @EmberRecreationalVehicles 9 месяцев назад

      The battery capacity of this coach is only limited by budget - it easily fits dual GameChanger 270Ah in the interior batter compartment for 540Ah total. The fresh water capacity is 81 gallons. Gray tank is 35 gallons and black tank is 35 gallons. Thank you for your feedback!

    • @traceehodges817
      @traceehodges817 5 месяцев назад

      I would guess yes... in my "normal" 5th wheel toy hauler we have to push the deck up at night if we have it out, but we don't have to disconnect the cables or do anything else. In reality we have found we really only use the deck when no one else is with us... if someone is using the back as a "room" the beds are down and you can't really walk thru at all - thus no deck...

    I would love to see this concept in a fifth wheel. Normal fifth wheel toy haulers waste so much space in the back that could be better used elsewhere. This type of design, applied to that sized trailer would be much better than the traditional toy hauler. Most of the time, I just want bikes, kayaks, and smaller items like that. I don’t need space to haul my airplane…

    Manual tongue jack? Major miss. It's innovative, but severely lacking in kichen and bedroom storage, but if full or half length wardrobe or storage cabinets are offered for the rail system than can be remedied. and that round sink has to go. On another channel I see people asking for units with twin beds, which seem to be hard to find. I don't have any toys but I want the patio so this fits my bill. Just wish it had a way to securely close off the backend without having to close the patio. Does the treadlock replace chocks, or are they a supplement?

    Ps come to not like the morride steps where dog leash constantlt tangled and need to stake cheap dometic awnings as dog leash not only gets tangled on too, but cant sirvive much beyond 2 years only of calm days instead of carfree that anchores to side walls with thicker fabric that is shielded from snow, uv rays when stored. And why is there even a seam in sidewalls? Is it because all the delam in azdale over ribbed, aluminum sided. Dont want an rv i can put my fist through in storms with tree branches and highway.

    This is not a toy hauler. You could barely load a residential push mower in there due to the width.

      There are definitely some cool ideas and features in this unit, but really it seems like a trailer that doesn't know what it wants to be be. The end has that big opening with a ramp, but where you would normally park your Polaris, or a bunch of dirt bikes, etc.... that has been largely negated by a giant bathroom that takes up half of that space!
      Some other minor nitpicks: what's with that second half-door? Kind of odd. And as for that "emergency hand/tread brake", please tell that red handle bar is removable and doesn't stick out the whole time, so people aren't running into in and tripping over it.
      Interesting trailer, but ultimately a pass...

    I love the layouts and ideas that Ember is implementing. But after viewing a few of them, they are total junk. Also when talking to the factory reps at Overland Expo, they really didn't seem to know their own product and or care that the display model was popping rivets and had broken welds on the frame.

      That’s very strange. The prototype of this model (actually the very same one in this video) went to the Overland show along with one of the company founders, the lead product developer, a prototype engineer, the director of procurement, and a design engineer. They all know their stuff. Sorry you didn’t get that impression. There were no “popping rivets” since none are used on the body of the unit and we’re completely unaware of frame weld issues as well. It’s always disappointing to find out we left a poor impression, but it’s also frustrating when comments are left without details that match up to what we know to be true.

    I like all the bells and whistles. But it looks like there may be some weight limits on some of them. My six foot six , 270 lb. Brother couldn’t sleep on one of those wall bunks. People need to know this kind of things. In my family a bunch of burly hunters would be needing a trailer but this don’t look like it would hold up to that. A family with little kids maybe that don’t weigh by thirty lbs. but I wouldn’t put a little kid on either bunk. Too high and no rails to keep them from falling out. It all looks nice though. Love the big bed in the end design. And the ramp in the back for a bike, kitchen is nice except for round sink. Large square sink is better. Nice fridge. Bath is great. Need sturdier back porch. Like that area but those cables wouldn’t hold my family of four up. We aren’t fat. Just tall.

      Single bunk capacity is 300# and double bunk is 600#. The rear deck capacity is 2000#.

    I sure wish Ember and other manufacturers would realize that short people can fit in tall RVs but tall people can't fit in short RVs. I am loving the innovative concepts but sadly, this will never sit in my driveway due to the ceiling height.😩

    • @EmberRecreationalVehicles
      @EmberRecreationalVehicles 9 месяцев назад

      The ceiling height inside varies from 6’10” down to 6’2”. What height would it need to be?

    Im a huge fan of spending 86k on a trailer that barely fits an ATV, requires you to basically put it together, only can hold 20lb bottles, and uses a hand jack at the tongue. Not to mention its lack of living area. But hey! Its got a patio

    really cool but no golf cart is fitting in that space. Smaller quads maybe and dirt bikes for sure. But this model kills itself by putting the bathroom in the back. No full size quads or side by sides are going in this.

    A "toy hauler" that you can't get a toy in isn't much of a toy hauler. it's an expensive camper. Intech Flyers are the only ones designed to be toy haulers that you can actually get toys into.
