Great! I appreciate this video. Details clear, relaxation of your talk, no interference with loud music, etc. Trailer seems well thought out. Good luck with your travels.
We purchased an Ember Overland 190MSL in the summer of 2024 and have had much fun with it thus far. We love it! We are looking at a slightly larger Ember Overland for the future as we prepare to retire and travel full time. Your 201FBQ is a possibility for just that. We do enjoy our Overland 190 MSL flex space and max solar package but you have lots of storage space and we appreciated all your ideas. We enjoyed the video so keep them coming. Thanks.
I'm very interested in following your adventures and learning about the reliability of this camper. I love the look, features, and rugged look of the Ember Overland series. I think Ember had a little rocky start, but it seems like they have worked out those issues, and maybe some of those issues were due to supplier quality during the covid years. Looks like you picked a good one! Thanks for making these videos.
I just bought an IBEX 20bhs and the maintenance guys and the RV dealer mentioned to never just exchange those propane tanks, get them filled. According to them it was a much more expensive premium tank. Whatever that means, I almost forgot until you mentioned exchanging them anywhere.
They are not "premium tanks". They just want you to buy their propane because then they make money vs exchange places. I've seen exchanges as cheap as $18 which is somewhat comparable to a tank refill in my area with MUCH less time and hassle.
I have been watching Josh the RV Nerd show these Ember’s since they came out I’ll be watching Your feedback on it I want one I like the layout of Yours Thanks for sharing
i noticed your suspension has grease fitting which is great , i have seen some with and some not. did yours come that way? thank you for sharing. Charlie
Zerk grease fittings are on all of the CURT independent suspension systems. Very early versions (some 2022 models) did not include them and this was changed (and can be retrofitted).
Great RV. Great information. I had never heard of Ember. Are they newer? They did a great job creating this RV. Looks to me that an RVer definitely designed! Looking forward to following your travels.
Ember started building RVs in 2021! We are a newer independent manufacturer, but our team is very experienced - and we actually own/use our products! Thank you for your interest!
Very nice review . . I've only seen one other video on the Ember line, but I was very impressed with them. I have never seen ANY RV with that wheel "brake" . . they all should have them.
Thanks for the video, well done! We are considering this model. I noticed the Ram in the background. Couple questions, What vehicle are you using to tow this trailer? How does it tow? Any modifications to assist with towing? Are you using a stabilizer hitch? If so, which one? Maybe a future video on this? Thanks again from Canada 🇨🇦
This is amazing! I have been doing tons of research looking at one for us. We have a special needs daughter who will live with us forever; this has plenty of storage for 3! Does the couch turn into a bed?
The couch does fold down to a bed. It's not for a really tall person and it's not a super comfortable couch so it may not be a super comfortable bed, without a topper. We have seen where people change out the couch though or put in extra foam padding. Ember has other layouts that include bunks or their new models with the e-track system.

Still love it but haven't used it much lately. Summer in Florida is a tough time to camp. Looking forward to the weather cooling down a bit so we can get back out there.
Great video. You should never exchange propane tanks. All the big vendors that exchange propane tanks do not fill them up all the way. You only get about 17 lbs in a 20 Lbs tank. Check it out.
When you exchange 20lb tanks , they are only filled to 15 lbs, they don’t feel to max of 20lb. Another reason I always take to tractor supply to get refilled( also it’s cheaper)
Having the option to either fill or exchange was important to us because when we are traveling, it may not be easy to find a place to fill them. I have found that when we had some filled, they didn't always fill them all the way up either. Maybe we need to find a new place to fill them. :)
nice looking camper! do you still have your Runaway? Also, I saw the Ram truck you're towing with... is it 1500 or 2500? If 2500, did you go with diesel or gasser? Have fun!!
Thank you, yes we still have our Runaway. We will probably just use it for Runaway Rally’s. Our Ram truck is Rebel 1500. We chose the Rebel because it has a tow capacity if 11,200 lbs.
I’ll be interested to see a year review after you put some miles on her. I haven’t seen many great reviews on Ember’s build quality and customer service. Safe travels.
We will look into doing that next year after we have had some time to travel in it. There seems to be more quality issues when they first started making them a few years ago but they seem to have gotten things figured out.
We've come a long way since starting up in 2021. We're always interested in doing better and building better RVs. We've build far more RVs in recent years with far fewer problematic reviews... and we're actually known for our build quality and customer service today!

Love the trailer brake! With that you probably don't even need to use any chocks!!! Chocks take up soo much room
Yes, it's a great feature
@@GloriousDayAdventures A better name for it would be a "Parking Brake" ( you aren't going to run back there to put it on in an "emergency" LOL )

Yes, I believe they have made some changes over the last few years to continue to make it better. We love ours so far!
Thank you for you comment! We're always try to improve and do better!
Very cool camper I like it except I don’t like slides
Great name for your camper. Love the trailer. It seems like a comfortable, good quality choice.
Thanks, we love it!
Where did you find the pieces above the couch that show camping hiking kayaking and more? Those look great.
I ordered them on Etsy. We love the way they look. Here is a link. www.etsy.com/listing/1456610780/

Sometimes finding a place to get them filled isn't easy when you are traveling though but there are many places to exchange them.
Traveling for months at a time? Sounds awesome, and we can't wait to see what you have to show in the future.
It will probably be awhile before we can get out for months at a time but that’s the goal!

Agreed. Keep us posted on your travels. I’m curious to see how it holds up. I am very interested in this model. Heard very good and very bad things.

Can you provide a link to where you purchased the triangular bins for the cabinet at the foot of the bed?

Love the video! I have a 2023 201FBQ that is stationary right now. If you don’t mind me asking, what do you use to tow it?
We have a RAM Rebel 1500. The towing capacity on the Rebel is about 11,000 lbs and it tows it well.
Thank you for being a customer!
This is great. We are getting a 191MSL. Enjoy your adventures. I hope there will be an Overland meet up later this summer!

We would love to attend a meetup. Congrats on your new Ember! Hope you love it as much as we love ours.

What are the sizes of the fresh, gray and black water tanks? Great looking camper, love the suspension!

IS THE AIRCONDITION 12 VOLTS?
No, it is 110V. When we are not plugged into shore power, it will run off the lithium batteries and the inverter, but not for very long.
The Aventa air conditioner is made by Truma and is powered by 120V. It can be used off-grid via the inverter, but it’s very battery intensive (even with the 270Ah Battle Born LiFePO4 battery)!
