      Forgot to mention that we are heading to Alaska from Florida and are in Calgary right now overnighting at Bass Pro and heading to Banff in a couple of hours. Calgary is a nice city but the wind can get pretty bad.

      It was windy today! Makes towing the new trailer quite exciting! Long trip for you. Thanks for the comment.

    Nice video, looking forward to more! I am looking at the same model for the garage to store eBikes as well. I am looking at the theater seats though. The slide is a BAL Exact slide vs the Accuslide which should be far more reliable. Did it come with the extension ladder or did you purchase one? They are now using the Furrion 18k AC unit and I would be towing with a Ford F150 with the 7.2k generator built in to use the AC. Going lithium is the only way to go and I would love to see even a photo montage of your install with some voiceovers. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the next video.

      Thanks! Yes it came with the Lippert extension ladder that clips in to the mount up high on the back of the trailer. We store it under the dinette seat. I’ll definitely be posting videos throughout the summer, including the AC and my battery install. Our 2000 W generator was able to power the AC due to it having a soft start!

    This is a great video. We ordered a 22ETS and awaiting delivery. We definitely want to upgrade batteries to Lithium and install under the bed. Did you post video on how you installed Li battery? We did the solar package, so hopefully simple install for Li battery and smart shunt. look forward to seeing your video!

      @@user-dp8gi4xb9o Thanks 👍 I still need to make that video! It was a matter of lowering the underbelly material near the front of the trailer, rerouting the positive cable and breaker to the under bed storage and finding a location on the frame to attach the ground cable that was closer to the battery as the cable was too short.

    I got the Intech Forge as a toy hauler for sleds bikes and a SXS. Ember would be a nice choice if you don’t need a a garage for gas sized toys.

      Nice trailer! We looked at quite a few toy haulers but the ember suited us better. My dirtbike will go in the truck bed. E-bikes in the ember storage! Thanks for subscribing 👍

    I am looking at this trailer. I like the functionality. What is your tow vehicle? looking to tow with a half ton Ram.

      @@drksideofthemoon6899 We have a 2016 GMC Sierra with the 5.3L V8 and 6 speed Auto. We also have a Blue Ox Weight distribution hitch. It tows pretty well but I’d prefer a Dodge 2500 with the Cummins diesel

    Hi Jason, I’m looking at the same trailer. What has your experience been like as far as build quality?

    • @CavillierTravels
      @CavillierTravels  3 месяца назад

      @@rameusunlimited1561 Good build quality overall and were pretty happy so far. There were a few things that were missed in quality control:
      Furnace vents close when it’s running (I fixed them open with zip ties)
      Screws holding the fridge into the wood frame were put in at a poor angle and missed the wood (I fixed that too)
      The floor has a strange soft spot that I need to get looked at under warranty this fall (I think it’s just the linoleum not glued down properly)
      A few other minor things that should have been addressed in the post delivery inspection (fresh water overflow hose not routed out through the underbelly, door latch screw protruding and making the entry door hard to close, furnace tape intended to block off a vent was loose and hot air was blowing under the sink, etc)

    So why the ets why not an actual overland series since you like to go off road and off grid ?

    • @CavillierTravels
      @CavillierTravels  7 месяцев назад +1

      When we started looking at trailers, we initially wanted something roomier and longer. We were also looking at the Overland 221MSL as it also has the removable bunk system. Incredible trailer but also around $26K CAD more. We preferred the ETS layout (non-Murphy bed, bar, plus the dinette). We won’t be able to get this 22ETS into some of the same places as our Fun Finder mostly due to the longer length and the overland was about the same length.

    Have you had any issues now that you've had it a bit longer?

    • @CavillierTravels
      @CavillierTravels  4 месяца назад +1

      @@billhughes4731 Mostly minor things like loose screws, furnace vents stuck closed. My main concern is there is quite the soft spot in the floor near the kitchen. Our dealership is going to look at it at the end of camping season.
