I don't blame Russia for this war and there is not enough evidence to suggest that Russia started this war but the war needs to end and both sides need to improve relations , I think Russia has made good progress in peace talks
the sanctions we imposed on Cuba and Iran were a disaster and I'm generally opposed to sanctions and I think imposing sanctions on Russia is the wrong policy
I voted for Biden and I think his doing a great but we need a long term plan were we remove sanctions on nations like Russia or Iran or Cuba and we focus on our domestic issues , sanctions on other nations that we impose have achieved nothing substantial , and if it has I've not noticed it because we are paying 7 dollars a gallon
Ukraine and Russia have both made good progress in peace talks , they are more than capable of reaching a peace deal .
both sides were close to a peace deal but Ukraine is refusing to give control of Mariupol to Russia , Russia could return Mariupol to Ukraine as a show of good will but Russia will probably take control of Donetsk and Luhansk because these two cities support Putin and they have been trying to join Russia since the 1980's . So the war needs to end but both sides have made good progress and I don't think Russia is to blame , Ukraine should send a delegation to Moscow or Poland to end the war , than they can work on returning POW's and they can reopen embassies and work on a new era of good relations
I've been voting Democrat since 2008 but on this issue I don't support the policy of sanctions , this is one issue were I think Biden is wrong , I think we should remove sanctions and import cheap oil regardless of the backlash we might get from people opposed to the idea

@@sharknado623 The point of hiding such a Russian disaster is simply this; Russia can never and will never admit it makes mistakes. Authoritarians such as Putin and Trump just can't do it because in their deluded minds, it makes them look weak which of course they are. It punctures their feeling that they are superior and never to be questioned. That of course is bullshit but nevertheless that's what they believe. In actual fact this inability to admit failure is a major weakness which causes them to dig bigger holes for themselves, holes which in the end, they can't dig out of.

Do you think they knew what they were doing? I highly doubt it. For their youth, Chernobyl is either a fairy tale, or an HBO series that portrayed their leadership as incompetent fools. For their officers, from whom such concepts as common sense and initiative had been knocked out for years, the main thing was to follow the order, no matter how idiotic it was. Plus, when their army fled back to Belarus, they raised clouds of radioactive dust, which they all inhaled. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind if these bandits balls will fall off, only the effect of these manipulations in the infection zone will affect everything in the area.

I been in Chernobyl back in 2012, it is not that bad, btw all armored vehicles protect very well from radiation, I really see no real war trenches on that drone video. They used exclusion zone to reach Kiyv area asap, it is like a speedway to Kiyv.

@@martstam2016 I have been almost everywhere in the exclusion zone and in some places it is much worse than it might seem, even compared to some areas of
the sarcophagus itself. Here, the video showed only a part of the fortifications, in fact, there are many more trenches and a caponier, including the Red Forest area. The road through Chernobyl is not at all the shortest way to Kyiv, it is a detour compared to the direct road to Ivankiv. And the Russian troops not only drove there, but took the station staff hostage, seized the guards and set up positions. To all this, I don’t know in which parallel universe armored vehicles are well protected from radiation, but in real life, even special suits of the highest level of protection do not guarantee safety under the condition of prolonged exposure.

Capturing a power plant denies the energy to the enemy. It's a valid tactic in warfare. Sending the power back home also increases national assets to a warring nation. The guards...that is a different topic and one that should concern world leadership due to the illegality of such a thing. To me this is why we need to stop Putin right now, enter into a war with Russia through NATO. We are dealing with an absolute lunatic and no matter how it goes it's going to hurt. Had Germany been stopped at Czechoslovakia all the rest of the nazi era would never have happened. It could have hurt a little in 1938 or a lot by 1945. The same is true now...this is going to hurt more the longer we allow it to go on. Today 170 guards, tomorrow entire towns. End this today, tomorrow will hurt more.

Six people, with their hands tied at the back, were doused with petrol by the soldiers, and left in a locked room in a village. Then the soldiers moved away to start burning other houses first. Their purpose was to burn those people alive as the fire spread to that house. About 200 soldiers pounded that village with heavy artilleries before entering and started shooting. The local guerrilla forces received the information of the 6 people from the villagers. A small unit of guerrillas quietly slid into the village and freed the 6 men, just in time to save their lives. No! It’s not in Ukraine. It was in Burma (Myanmar). It occurred on the 4th of April in a village called “Mee Loun Kyun” (မီးလောင်ကျွန်းကျေးရွာ) in Yesagyo Township. The whole country is currently being torched by the ruthless fascist military regime. Later that day, the local People’s Defence Force (PDF) staged guerrilla warfare and managed to kill 15 soldiers including 2 officers (virtually with hunting rifles and home-made weapons). People of Burma understand and support the people of Ukraine. As Ukraine is being scorched, people of Burma know how terrible it is, to be in that horrible situation. They stand together in solidarity with the Ukrainians. May the President Zelenskyy and the heroic people of Ukraine defeat the invading Russian marauders!

There were no staff members at the site when the Russians came in. If anything, they most likely held some POWs there and took them along later on.
However, this could be mistaken based on the fact that many of the offices and private spaces were trashed sometime prior to the Russians moving in and had been left alone - along with most of the facility in general - until Ukraine came back in.

Members of their national guard and other personnel serving/working in Chernobyl can be considered staff at Chernobyl. Moreover, this news from CNN also mentioned that members of their national guard securing Chernobyl were taken/missing ruclips.net/video/8jWnuvrPgu4/видео.html
Furthermore, many people have been closely following the current news about this war and for you to say “There were no staff members at the site when the Russians came in” is very inconsistent with the known maintenance protocol for Chernobyl. Your statements also disagree with everything reported with facts by evidence so far. People can barely even escape let alone have enough time and energy to trash their own homes, workspaces and facilities just to make it look like Russians did it.
p.s. generally automated bots are distracting but paid trolls are on another level, consciously spreading misinformation and hate driving more polarization and divide amidst the deaths and destruction already happening around the world.

Footages from RT could never. You can lie to yourself all you want but at the end of the day, it is Russia who keeps invading Ukraine and has killed and still killing Ukrainians. Better yet, you go out of the virtual world and bring your news to the actual victims and families in Ukraine right now and see what they will do to you. Im Ukrainian.
I want to appeal to the people of England, who are not indifferent to what is happening in Ukraine.
Ukraine has never been too important partner for England, our economic and political cooperation has been quite mediocre. But today, when the Ukrainian people, who lived two difficult centuries as part of the Russian Empire in its various manifestations, raised their heads and made their choice, England stands at the forefront of the free world and proves that the ideas of freedom, democracy, ethics and justice are still alive and valuable. Every Ukrainian today closely follows what is happening both in the country and abroad. Each of us knows that England is our friend. Boris Johnson is highly respected here, as is the whole of England. Rest assured, not one pound spent on helping Ukraine will be forgotten or wasted.
You probably know very little about Ukraine, or knew before recent events. 2/3 officers of the Red Army and its best soldiers were Ukrainians, and Ukraine itself was the agrarian and industrial core of the USSR. Our people are willing and able to work and create. It was difficult for us to get rid of the legacy of the colony of a dying empire, but now every Ukrainian has received answers to all questions. The world is changing. This is not just a war for Ukraine. This is a war of the civilized world against the totalitarian barbarian horde. Russia had a chance in 1991, but it went the old way again. And we are not. We will win. Our people will win, this is not the first time for us. Whole Russia will be defeated. Because you are helping us, all people of good will. Ukraine will be your true friend and good ally !

So honestly I hope it doesn't come to that. I hope the soldiers are found and I hope the people that they've kidnapped and taken into Russia are brought back

This is what has always set our people apart. A thousand years of sacrifice in our veins. And every generation must know its own suffering.

Most importantly, Bismarck believed that in no case, and under no circumstances should one quarrel, much less fight with Russia. It is a pity that the German rulers did not heed this opinion twice in the 20th century ...
Thanks to trips around the country, meetings and communication with various people, after hunting for bears, after severe frostbite of his legs, which almost led to amputation, Bismarck almost unraveled the mysterious Russian soul. In any case, he understood the essence of the Russian way of life and the peculiarities of our thinking. And outlook too. This knowledge helped him a lot in the future when choosing the right political line in relation to Russia.
The man who went down in world history under the beautiful nickname of the Iron Chancellor - Otto von Bismarck - lived in St. Petersburg for three years in the middle of the 19th century. He was the Prussian ambassador to the Russian Empire. During his stay in our country, Bismarck learned Russian and spoke it very well.
