- Filmed over the Easter bank holiday back in April 2010, this video documents a roadtrip with Ali C and Stan Shaw going through the middle and West of Wales, down to Cardiff, across to Bristol before finally ending up in the Big Smoke - London. Big thanks to all the riders who came and met us along the way!

@jslobn Ali is using the Trialtech Sport rear hub, and Stan is using the Try-All H135 hub. The noise is from their freewheels - they both use the Echo SL 108.

@BohemianRugby because they are using an ordonary rear hub not a freecoaster where he pedals dont pull pack as you "reverse/fakie". On the "ordonary" hub it does pull back and if you dont pedal backwards it will stop you from moving.
If you mean during the time he rides forward, then it is for the leg position i think(just in some postition you feel more comfortable)

@Butterboo90 sounds like alot of practice and dedication. Ive always wanted to get into this but nobody in my area is into it and no bike shop carries these types of bikes. I guess I will stick to trail riding for now. cheers.

@svantearrhenius1 They aren't fixed gear - Ali C has a fixed sprocket on his cranks with a freewheel on his rear hub, and Stan has a freewheel on his cranks and a fixed sprocket on his rear hub. Nothing fixed, no 'back brake hub', just skill ;-)

@Yipa14 Come on every bloody video it's just full of people making unoriginal comments about the number of dislikes. It's probably about 10% of comments. I like to read comments and discuss things with people but it's hard when comments are so pathetic. It's just as bad as a couple of years ago the first 10 comments would all say "first".

I still don't understand brakeless. It makes many stunts more difficult or impossible. Does it have any benefits? What can you do on a brakeless bike that you can't do on one with brakes?
