DC SHOES: Ken Block's Gymkhana THREE, Part 2; Ultimate Playground; l'Autodrome, France

- Опубликовано: 13 сен 2010
- Shot just south of Paris, France in Linas at l'Autodrome de Linas --Montlhéry, this 1.58 mile oval track, built in 1924, features banks as steep as 51 degrees, which is more than double the standard incline of most NASCAR ovals. Chosen by Ken for this specific reason, the ramp-like banking proved to be a unique and exciting challenge. The driving physics for the stunts performed were totally unknown until Ken attempted the maneuvers during filming.

RIP to the GOAT. This video was the very thing to begin my taste in cars and love for driving like a madman. I hope his family and friends can take some solace in knowing how many people Ken inspired.
Came looking for this. Glad that others found this video for remembering him.
I just heard... I'm shattered....
Going for a drive in my hot hatch this arvo to cheer myself up. Diving was his passion, as is mine
Mine was gymkhana 2 but I feel you brother, heaven has taken another legend
@@aravindradhakrishna8660 FIRST VIDEO THAT CAME TO MIND. I USED TO SHOW THIS TO EVERYONE. CRAZY.
E
Rest in peace Ken. This was the very first video of his I ever saw, and I've been a fan of his ever since. Go show God some hooning big guy 💚🖤🤍
same here. my love for ford fiesta also starts here. the ending always amaze me... DID HE JUST BLEW UP THE REAR TIRES?????
@@packfadly I remember the first time watching this and seeing him just shredding those tires, what a guy
@@fantailedtombV2 yep. Block is such a Hoonigan Legend indeed.
RIP Legend 🖤
💞👼🏼
This was the first video I ever saw of Ken, passed on to me in an e-mail chain back in 2010. Probably one of the biggest reasons for my obsession with Motorsport today. RIP to a hero, Ken Block #43.
This video alone solidified me as a fan when this first came out. Not only you have touched me, but you have touched millions of people across the world. From young kids, who are just starting to get into cars to veterans who been in this sport for years. Thank you for the many years of passion and excitement. RIP Ken Block
I warched him since i was 3 years old now im 14 😢
@@LoudicrousPMC that’s crazy because I’ve been watching him since I was 16 and now I’m 29 😞
Rip king. This was one of the catalyst videos that got me passionate about cars. A true icon and one of a kind behind the wheel. You’ll be missed, Ken.
Breaks my heart to see such a legend gone.
RIP Ken Block, always a legend
Rest in Peace King , allways one Slide ahead 🤙❤
My first ever exposure to him, i grew up playing Dirt 3, watching his gymkhana videos and was thrilled everytime he appeared on the Hoonigans, to say he'll be missed is an understatement
Same man ,i still play dirt 3 and i love It.
Whenever I play Gymkhana in that game, most of the time, I picked his Fiesta.
This gymkhana is the reason why a lot of Fiestas in our country got rallyfied instead of stanced. RIP, Ken. I'll always have a core memory of your Gymkhana vids with me til I die.
RIP Ken, you’re the reason I know rally and rally cross. You introduced me into a saga of games I love, and I can’t believe I’ll only ever get to race against your AI in DiRT 3. Thank you for being such a source of inspiration for me.
RIP to a legend I remember being in middle and high school with my homies being in awe at his driving, he definitely influenced my current lifestyle, im going through watching all his gymkhana and rally videos, thank you for so many amazing moments
Throwback Thursday to Ken Block's Gymkhana THREE, Part 2; Ultimate Playground; l'Autodrome, France. More than 59 million people have watched the video. Have you?
Wow
X. Tamil
Awesome
Thrilling !
😒
This is still the best Gymkhana out of the series IMO. I just think there's something about it being about pure driving technique and less about special effects. This one is more like a Guy Richie film where the new ones are more like Michael Bay, you know what I mean?
i feel you bro, especially that 360 over the steep track
You are absolutely right!
Nailed it.
I remember watching this back in 2013, he's truly a legend, we'll never get another rally legend like him
I discovered you through this video which was recorded meters from my home. Thank you for everything you did, and Rest in Peace Ken
In my opinion, this is still the best Gymkhana video ! 😊
***** cars ugly IMHO
Robert Wood
He needs a Mk1 Focus...
and ken needs a subaru ;)
Robert Wood
nothing beats a subie
still the best 🙂👌
Rest in Peace Kenny...
Still my personal favourite Gymkhana video after a decade. Happy 10 year anniversary to Gymkhana 3. :D
Anyone else have to come back and watch this after Electrikhana? The future is boring.
YEP, had to come back to this after the new one 😂
That car must be ridiculously fun to drive. Light, short, awd and crazy power.
Good car, good technology. Watching video is a pleasure.www.novsights.com

RIP KB43, this video was one of the ones that started it all for me. After seeing you with Top Gear BBC. Truly a legend.
This guy is doing what most of us think we can do but can’t !!
One talented guy !
Legendary Fiesta episode, can't believe Ken is gone 😢 RIP legend!
That was the first gymkhana I have watched. I still remember how crazy I thought it was, and how I loved it! May you rest in peace, godspeed 43 ✌️
I remember I was 12 watching his videos with my dad and being astonished.. and absolutely loving them.. then this morning he sent me the news, I was absolutely heartbroken, I will forever keep those memories in my heart.
RIP to a legend
Three will always be my favourite Gymkhana.
Do you remember which video he made that he blew all four tires and he looked out the window smiling, lol I'm having a hard time finding it
Garbage Man did you fjnd it
Ajay Rathore no I didn't I don't know if they took it down because he might have had a different sponsor, if I find it I let you know if someone else finds it let me know

No matter how many times I watch this,..it takes my breath away. If Ken Block ever sets up a driving school I'll be first in line.

Still a great video and if not the best

Their advertising worked then
7 years, it never gets old.
this was the first video i saw of Ken. loved the gymkhana, and fell in love with that ford fiesta. RIP legend
Rest easy Ken. I grew up watching your insane videos and you have inspired me and hundreds of millions of others. You were my hero and got me into rally racing. It truly will not ever be the same without you. Real legends never die, and your legacy will live on, in the heart of myself and many others. You revolutionized the car scene and bought it to the point it is today.
As a fellow mountain biker and huge fan, I hope that you will be drifting the streets of heaven. Never forget to KILL ALL TIRES and GO FAST, RISK EVERY THANG.
Thank you for everything you have done for me and so many others, and I truly hope that your legacy will never be forgotten. You may be gone, but never forgotten. RIP to my hero and an amazing human being. You will be sorely missed.
sorry folks but 59,998,932 of those views were me and I still keep coming back for more. This is the best gymkhana. Later videos became a bit too fancy for me. Less is more.
i cant stop watching the first 1:30 of this video
the best of these kind of vids hands down
unreal!
This is was the first video of Ken’s I ever watched back when I was in high school and it sparked a fire for automotive madness that I’ve ravenously chased since then. RIP to the king, may your family and your soul find rest and your legacy live on for generations to come
Thanks for the memories, Block.. you started my whole life, only 12 years ago.
Dam i, old
Roses are red violets are blue Kens hectic fiesta turbo goes stututututu
+Joshua Janssen hehe. What turbo does he use if you know?
Whatever turbo it is it wont be cheap.
Lee Whitworth hehe
Joshua Janssen hahaha classic😂
Lee Whitworth oooooof, that pore turbo,I don’t wanna know how many turbos they had to use for the video with all that anti lag!
I've watched this so many times and I'm still impressed with the things he does in the Gymkhana videos. I still think he's about to crash at some points but then he gets out of it like it was nothing
No matter how often I watch this, my jaw drops open.
Of all the gymkhanas I've watched, this has the be the loudest and most fun
Agreed, I just had to go watch this one again after watching electrikhana today
My mom when i'm going late to the school
lo
Trolling lol
Trolling HA
She bring you in France? At the l'Autodrome?
omg
OMFG that was so awesome!!!
I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A THING!!!
THE WAY THAT GUY CONTROLLED THE SEGWAY WAS UNBELIEVABLE!
under rated!
This was my introduction to the world of Gymkhana and Ken Block however many years ago. To know that we lost so much talent and such a huge inspiration to a generation of car enthusiasts is absolutely heart breaking.
I'm excited to see what his daughter Lia will accomplish in time because she already has so much talent at such a young age.
RIP Ken Block 🖤🖤🖤
The best Gymkhana video, Rest in Peace Goat.
Driver:"Im gonna make some great video"
Tires:"IMMA HEAD OUT!!!"
Descansa en paz Ken! Y gracias por tanto!! Jamás te olvidaré!! Marcaste mi adolescencia 🫶😔💔
Ken Block was a huge inspiration to me growing up and he is one of the sole reasons why I love everything automotive with a fiery passion. My prayers are with the family💔
This was the video that got me into the automotive aftermarket my freshman year in college and completely changed my mind to get into marketing. RIP to a legend.
Ken Block's famous quote: "I love the smell of burns tyres in the morning. You know, one time we drifted on 51 degree steep banks. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em but full of doughnut ring tyres marks. The smell, you know that tyres burns smell, the whole hill. Smelled like.... [sniffing, pondering] victory...
Absolutely gutted to hear the news. Best wishes to the family. This video was always my most favourite of Ken's, Lost count of how many times I have watched it. The amount of pure control the guy had was legendary.
Watching these Gymkhana videos never gets old. RIP Ken.
You have been my favorite drifter and driver since I’ve seen this video for the first back in 2010. RIP goat.
This and no 7 is my favorite gymkhana. Its pure skills.
Who else would love to be a passenger
Cool man
Me Me ............O PLEASE ME ...........I Promise I won't throw up !!!
no thanks. I want to keep the weight loss kit.
DANGEROUSDYNAMITEBOY I really wish to sit beside
This was the first time I ever saw a car go sideways. In fact, it was the first car video I ever saw at all. It started my lifelong passion for cars that I plan to turn into a career in the near future. Thanks for giving that to me, Ken. You'll be sorely missed.
His actions on the gymkhana courses behind the wheel of Ford Fiesta will always being remembered forever in our memories. RIP Ken Block.
this video is like a fine wine! Love it Ken!!!
Happy 10th annivarsery to this gem today!
I have a HotWheel of this car. It never went in a straight line when I played with it, always sideways. It has a few scuffs and scratches, but it's a Gymkhana car, it's supposed to have scuffs and scratches. This car will always be what I see in my mind when someone mentions Gymkhana or Ken. Thanks Ken, thanks for those memories and getting me more into cars.
Unreachable and unbelievable...you have been both at the same time. Thanks for all you leave us. Rip hero!
came back to this one after the electric one...this one is my all time fav
Made 7 years ago and still one of the best gymkhana videos they've made
made almost 12 years ago
I’m amazed every damn time! To ride passenger with you is at the top of my bucket list!!!
I have this post saved from Sept 2010. I know it's there so I can watch it whenever I want. Those poor Pirellis!!! This is my favorite Gymkhana, too.
Just imagine watching this in 2020... oh wait I am

One of the first people who got me into cars… i cant believe you’re gone… ❤❤❤❤
And that, kids, is the literal example of roasting the tires off.
How many sets of tires did it take to make this video?
This was the Video that made me a huge car Fan. This was the first Video were I was god damn hyped to watch it 50 times or more...
RIP legend. RIP Goat. RIP Ken Block...
I was 11 years old when I first saw this video and it kickstarted my love for cars and all things that scoot. I wasn’t at all ready to hear the bad news this morning. R.I.P Ken block
