Just want to thank you all for tuning in!
Can you take some pics with the sony 16-70mm and 24mm 1.8? when ever you get a chance.. thanks
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Would you recommend this to a beginner?
Love how he turns a weakness into a strength by making his English pronunciation a point of humour. Well done bro.
big thanks!
Keep up the great work. Videos are top notch. Will be purchasing your LUT pack!
Hey man! Just found your channel and I gotta say, you are one of the most sympathic people I've seen on the internet! Liked, Subscribed and I can't wait to see more from you!
great reviews. love your icelandic humour!
Always excited for your videos !!!
loooove!
Thanks, man. As always your videos are very helpful.
I've had these for a couple months and love them. I mainly use them for portrait photography with a wide aperture and don't want an incredibly fast shutter speed. Just a couple of twists and my exposure is set.
I liked their gear so much I also got their circular polarizer and night filters.
ah haven't tried them, but yea I like what they make a lot, super nice guys to!
I love the fact that you have that magnetic lens cap, it comes in really handdy!
hey! I just recently discovered your channel! really love the quality and the content! I was driven here because of the sony a6400!! It's rare to find a youtuber with it rather than the a7 iii or higher! Thank you so much! Just a quick question! which lens would you suggest as first lens? I like both portrait and landscapes! keep up the awesome job!
Thank you for the video! Very informative!
thanks for watching!
I was just thinking about this, thank you for your valuable experience.
thank you for watching :)
Another great video man! Quick question, for photography would you use the magnetic single filters of these variable ones or is it pretty even? Thanks, looking forward to the next one!
I’m definitely gonna consider the Freewell VND, I was actually thinking about getting the Polar Pro Quartzline ND16/PL because I’ve heard of the amazing quality, but I do like the flexibility of the variable.
Love this!
I've ordered all variable ND filters I could come across on Amazon to see whichever actually works the best 😂
duuuude hahaha looking forward to see that one, how many was that? x)
Peter, I think you two should do a colab video, that`ll be insane!
I hope you get a chance to test the nisi variable. I think they are very under rated.
Please sir....i need nd that doesn't loose sharpness or fine details...
So what was the veredict Peter?
Ah dude I think o need to pick some of these up! In my last video I had the horrible x when it was so bright! I only use a canon 10-18 4.5 but it was still bright! Those filters are perfect
2 pac like the rapper
Great personality, subscribed and liked. Just pressed the button on my order for the double 82mm pack.
Thanks so much for your video! I’m going to get those but I’m just starting with clogging and I only have the sigma 16mm. I think I will be buying more lenses in a future. Which ND Filter SIZE, do you recommend? 88,77 or 67? Thanks for ur time mate! I love your channel you are my teacher 🙌🏿
Hi, thanks to share the interesting video. Out of curiosity: do you not think a variable ND filer is more convenient if it has a lever on the ring to be able to move the lens more easily to shoot videos? Thank you
Loved your necklace ;) good video my friend!
With those same step up rings will this freewell vnd magnetic attach?
Did you have a chance to try the Simmod VND? I'm considering that one too ...
Yes got them, for the camera and for the drone, will also get them for Osmo pocket, love these filters. magnetic is the best. love the vid :)
I am pretty sure that when my ND filter cracks, I will buy a freewell. You have convinced me! 😀😀
hahaha love seeing you comments man! :)
Just placed my order!
Does the freewell 82mm ND fit the Sony g master 24-70mm f2.8 lens?
Very nice, thanks for the good info!!
Thank you!

Is anyone having issues with turning the camera on with a step up ring screwed on? I'm having issues with my sony 16-50 kit lens since it retracts/ extends. I need to unthread the ring a half turn every time I turn the camera off or I get a lens error. Is this inherent of many step up rings or maybe it's just the one I got from Amazon? I'm adapting a 62mm filter to the 40.5mm kit lens.
Can you stack this filter with a cpl?
What variable ND filter would you recommend for the sigma 56 mm 1.4??
Hey maaan, thanks for the nice vídeo!!! You are so didactic, Brazil sends hugs ❤
thank you!!
Love the vid my man! Also thinking about buying variable filters for dome sick B-Roll footage of norway, sweden, iceland etc. Also, is that a small camera on your bracelett?! Where did you get that from?! I need to know asaaaap!
hahaha yes it's a small camera lol - I found it online somewhere haha
Keep going bro 🔥 🇭🇹 Haiti 🇭🇹
hey man so if you use this with 16mm it wont be good?
Hi, I have just purchased Freewell VND 2-5 stops standard version. I am curious if it shall have stops by "click" on each stop or only at the ends? Mine has hard stops only at the ends... Thanks!
Frábært að sjá Íslending á RUclips!! Gangi þér sem best. Spái 100K+ 2021!
Perfect timing
Epic!
sir i have sony a6300 with canon 50 mm 1.8
the camera dont try to focus simply by point the camera to an object...but it will focus only when i half press the shutter button..So i cannkt take videos with autofocus ...
pls help me to solve this issue sir....
I need to get one.
Hey man! what size VND would I but for my Sony kit lens... the 18-135 it comes with a 55mm lens cap, but I've never used filters and they screw on where the hood goes correct? shoot any tips would be much appreciated
This works well with still photography?
So funny story - I went to Greece last summer and really wanted to film a fun travel video. It was the height of my 'wanting to be a travel film maker' journey (who am I kidding, I still want that lol), so I packed my A6500, my Sigma 16 1.4 and my Sony 18-105.
Didn't realize what ND filters really did until I started trying to film in the bright sun. I brought it back as much as I could, but it still looks pretty terrible.
Video is on my channel, but man I wish I had filters for that trip!!!
Did you get up with your shutter and closed the aperture?
Janis y Zoé tried my best but it was tough even then for video
Brennan Rogers hey thank you for replying. Yes feeling you and with the sigma you really want to open that aperture for the blurry background
Just got my first NDs about two months ago, not sure how I ever went without... but realised the steppe ring trick to late, haha
Honorable dear Thank you for your video , I am going get soon Sony A7s3 , Tamron 28-78 f 2.8 , Tamron 17-28 f 2.8 , then which ND filter size do you recommend me ..? 67 , 72 , 77 , 82mm . I am confused help me out of this please.
Fint!
Någon observation på om dom är enkla att rengöra om du råkat sätta fingeravtryck på front glaset och om dom är rep okänslig?
Lätta att göra rena och de är skyddade mot rep ☺ men såklart då kan du repa de om du vill
Love your accent man!!!
Hahaha 😎☺
Thank you
One stupid question. Can i use a variable nd filter for photography and filming? Like point and shoot? ty
*Fellow Nordic Sony shooter! I like your stuff :)*
You use ND filter while taking photos??? Or just for videos only.
Hi thanks again for another video. what filter have you used until now? cheap, midrange? polarpro?
I've had a few, last one I had was from HOYA, it was alright it is 1-9 stop in one filter but it has some color shift to the green side and pretty heavy vignetting after like stop 7
@@thaticelandicguy Ohhh I understand. The cheap ones in most cases have a strong vignetting. I am curious about the b&w and the k&f nano slim.
@@vasiliosm in my experience variable nds have some vignetteing the question is just how bad it is. I think these from feeewell handle it well tbh.
@@thaticelandicguy 👌👌👌🙏🙏🙏🙏
can you share your LUT? it looks very rich
new subs here .. thanks bud for the info
There's a wierd colour/exposure difference from one end of the sky to the other on that example footage shot on 10mm.
yea that can happen if you use a 10mm, then you can get some vignette. Lenses above 16mm and it's waaay less, next to none really exepct in max in some heavy condiditons then you can see a little.
Do you have a SD Card case? If not you should get one they are soooo helpful
Thanks for the nice video!!
Not special one no, you talking abiut one that can carry bunch of sd cards?
@@thaticelandicguy Yes! :D
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Yes it is so nice
Thank for tech
I thank you for the informative video,
my bank account does not. equipment in new Zealand is more expensive
gotta admit the magnetic lens cap is sweet
it's sick! super much like these :)
So what is it that you say in every video? "Yo yo yo karlaflehta" ( I know I didn't spell that right lmao)
I found the Icelandic Peter McKinnon 😍
hahah epic!
Your subs so fast to up
☺
You misspelled review 😄
Looool hahaha thanks for pointing it out 😂😅
Metal magnetic cap is a very bad solution. Too hard to use in gloves. Very easy to scratch the glass when putting on.
Are these Freewell guys legit or do they only send the good product to the RUclipsrs for review? I had planned on buying a 2 pack off their website and then thankfully decided to test with a single one for my b cam and the customer service was horrendous (still waiting for a refund). Then when I went to amazon to see the reviews and people are complaining that there aren't hard stops on the filters? Has anyone here bought without hiccups ?
Hey man! Sorry to hear, they've been super nice to me and answered all my questions. I honestly like their filters and they are my go to filters for my cameras. You were checking on their variables?
@@thaticelandicguy hey man thanks for getting back to me. Yeah I was checking out their variables. The 82mm full day pack. If i'm going to spend $210 on ND's i need everything to be right
your father is a very wise man xD
Flott "rás" góð myndbönd, Gangi þér vel...
:)
first!
AWESOME :)
Freewell makes great stuff, but treats customers and more precisely photographers like shit.
