Only thing I hate about butain is 90 percent of the time butain comes out the can but never gets into the tool wish companys would make butain cans better or filling some butain items are a pain because they dont want to fill and when you do get it to fill you are spraying yourself with butain at the same time as filling the item

I have a 10 year old Ironton corded heat gun I use once in a while. Two temp settings and comes with 3 nozzles, bench rest and a hard case. I think I spent $25.00 and still works fine. If you are working with heat guns on a daily basis away from a power source, then yeah I would probably go with the DeWalt just based on size and weight. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Clint!

Love the Build of the RIGID, and if you have a Farm, or Live where the Winters are BRUTAL, I would choose the RIGID, for Thaw applications, but for me, I would select the Dewalt, IF I was needing a Cordless Model, however, I don’t need a Cordless Model, so I will be choosing a Corded Model.
    (Respectfully,
I believe you are meaning to use the Word “Butane” when you are saying a couple Times, something like “It has the Carbon Monoxide, and for me, it just Works Better.” Carbon Monoxide is not a Desirable Attribute or Selling Point. 😬🙄) Just Subscribed

TRZ on this one I'm going to have to go with the DeWalt. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it looks like it's a lot easier to use and always ready to go. Peace brother

I would probably choose the Dewalt since I already have batteries and I don't want to be tied down with a cord. (Awkward) Thank you for the review. It was very helpful.

If I had to pick one it would probably be the dewalt. Compact, portable, even heat distribution. Too bad I'm in the Milwaukee platform so cant justify the investment.

I heard the Milwaukee isn't that great, but I really do like the dewalt bro

They make converters now between the different Tool / Battery combinations: Milwaukee to Porter Cable, etc Check them out on Amazon
(and I believe that Milwaukee and Dewalt are interchangeable straight out)

    Hi TRZ,
I would pick the DeWalt. Now it would have been nice to have a control heat button like the ridgid. Not a Hi & Lo switch. Maybe on their next model.
Now on a different note. I do like the new DeWalt oscillating tool model DCS356 (3 speed). Check it out when you have a a chance.
    Thanks for the video

    • @ToolReviewZone
