Great review! It has answered exactly the questions I had when comparing a corded vs a battery heat gun. Thanks a lot.

I have had this tool for a year and in Ohio during the winter it’s very useful thawing out locks and a lot of other stuff

Thanks pete that is a great suggestion. One other thing didn’t mention is it would work for thawing pipes in areas where it just gets below freezing. I live in alberta where it can get to -40 for a week at a time or longer

    Right on Tim
I was waiting for a Review like yours. Absolutely no one talked about the practicality of just quick Jobs. I Repair everything and just need quicky heat for speeding up epoxy or Super Glue. I’ll also by the Wagner 300 plug in $ 26.00 Lowes for the longer needs. Dude the quick go to tools are where it’s at. As my Picture shows my Sons and I have done huge Machine installs and I’m a practical Tool guy. I subscribed to you. Keep on with the actual use reviews. 💪

I do my best one more thing I have used it for lately has been to warm up my Dewalt batteries they will take a charge. Being in Canada that’s always a struggle

I’ve been kicking this one around for a bit. I still love my corded gun but I can see the added value of the cordless. Mind you the corded B&D was $15.89. 😃

That’s the big difference about 8 times as much for a corded one without a battery :(

I have one and it’s completely useless compared to a corded heat gun. Doesn’t even put out enough heat to shrink wrap electrical wires.
