Love this album! No Neck Louie is my jam!!! I drove from NY to San Diego in 1996 and listened to this CD every morning when I got back on the road, it was this and coffee for seven days every morning (we took the long route to sight see). I always remember No Neck Louie because not only is it my fave track on the album, but when we got to San Diego we went to something called Spike and Mikes Festival of Animation and one of the cartoons was called No Neck Joe. It's a cartoon about a kid named Joe with no neck and his "friends" made fun of him by giving him necklaces and bow ties. 😆That song and that cartoon are something that I think about often because it was a great turning point in my life.
An absolute favorite record! Not only has it been accompanying countless road trips of mine, marking a whole era of my life, but it has also been a great influence on my playing. I'm more than grateful for this masterpiece of a record, thank you Frank and greetings from Greece!
Hi Frank, this is my favorite solo album of yours. I love the tunes, melodies, the solos, the entire package. Just FYI, probably my most played fusion album is Truth in Shredding. By the way, the keyboard solo on Dali is one of my favorites.
Hey Frank, not sure if I should tell you but I have the backing tracks to this album. Basically, they are the same tracks as the album minus your melody guitar parts. I think you were selling them at one time. Anyway, I listen to those just as much as the album and enjoy them both equally.
