Once I cut the sponge cake I kept it wrapped in cling film for 24 hours so I could assemble it the day it was being served. Once I’d assembled and served the cake, and most of it was eaten - I then cut the remaining cake into slices and wrapped them individually in cling film. The cake still tasted fresh for almost a week! Hope this helps ❤️

It’s on my list of videos to do soon- definitely! I think this cake works really well with all different types of icing - I’ve only personally tried it with American buttercream and Italian butter cream but I’m sure it would be delicious!

Definitely! I would substitute around 50g of flour for cocoa powder.
