Wow! What a great way to Recycle! The dog food can would be adorable on a tier tray. I love that you made a lid for your rooster can. Pretty daring of you to paint the knob while glued on! But oh that posey pocket is my favorite. I LOVE HOW IT TURNED OUT!! That little bit of scallion green gave it a beautiful spring touch. And the flowers are perfect. Thank you so much, Amy! Excellent video!
I love the time canes crafts . When I was in vacation bible school my teacher would bring tin cans for us to craft with . It brings back such sweet memories. Thanks for bringing back such sweet memories. I will get cans & do more now . Thank you from the bottom of my heart .
I wasn't feeling the green on number 2 but after you put the flowers and finishing touches on it, i fell in love😂❤😂.... i liked them all but number 2 is definitely my favorite
That’s so cool! I remember doing that one too and thinking the same thing but it seems to work! Thank you for the kind comments and stopping in to say hello! Have a wonderful rest of the week! 😊
New subscriber from Australia here. Love your projects in this video, the baby can was very cute and I love the checked black and white one with the hen. The squashed tin can I loved very much, I really loved the label you put on there and then when you mixed the green with the antiquing wax, it looked awesome and the green burlap topped it off. I love the green colour. TFS with everyone and I’m looking forward to your next video Amy.
Hi Pamela, thank you so much for the kind comments! I have a special place in my heart for Australia because I was a foreign exchange student as a senior in high school. I stayed in Perth for a month with a very kind family. Such a great experience! I’m glad you liked the crafts, I really enjoy making them. Until next time my friend! Amy ❤️
Amy you are amazing. I would never see a dog food can and see it with a flower arrangement in it. That was adorable another sweet napkin DIY. The big can with flowers that hung was so pretty
Amy, the big can that you hung on the wall was very nice; it would compliment any home regardless of whether your home is fancy or just homey! I would like it, and if you could take that same size of can and make a utensil holder to corral cooking utensils by the stove I believe it would really compliment a kitchen…especially mine! 😊 Thanks for sharing and showing us your work! Great job!!! Gale Flowers 🌸 🌼🌺
They are all really cute. Love the Posie can. Looks like fresh grass got sprayed on it as it hung out on the fence. Can't get more rustic than that! Love it!
I love the idea with the cans Amy. Me, I would of taken the lid off the can. I would of been cutting myself. Now the bigger can with the flowers and truck, I loved that one. My favorite on my grandparents ranch/farm were the cows, so I thing I'd do a cow on the last DIY, and the lid, what a great idea. to match the other animals I will have glued on the milk cans. I think the black/white material would look good on the milk cans. Thank you Amy for what you do.
Love the tin can posey pocket! I have never seen this before. Now I have a good use for cans instead of just throwing them in the recycle bin. I used to craft a lot but then life got in the way and I stopped for some unknown reason . I’m now 70 and interested in starting to make things again. I feel better when I’m creative. You have some great ideas. Thanks.
Thank you Teresa! I’m glad you feel like creating again, it’s so fun to make something and enjoy it, even when you know where the mistakes are! It’s funny too, sometimes the mistakes make it cuter yet! Nice to chat with you, thank you for taking time to say hello. Happy crafting! Amy
WOW... . . . . This is very AWESOME! I really like all of these projects, but I have to say, the Pocket Tin is my favorite. I never saw a DIY on the Pocket Tin until the other day.. . . . yours is really unique and now I know how to make one. YES. . I like how you added the green and the touch of antique brown. . . .this really ties everything in so nicely! Thank you for sharing. I like the way you explained everything. . . GREAT for a beginner to follow. Have a wonderful day and HAPPY CRAFTING. Jeannie out in Lancaster, CA
Amy, I think we saw the same pictures of the can with the lid still attached, because I was just showing my husband a picture yesterday! Your's turned out pretty cute! I loved the other can crafts, too. I got a huge can like yours from a local pizza place, so I was really glad to see you do that kind. TYFS and have a great week! 😊😊
Hi Denise! Yes, the lady I saw really likes Shabby Chic and the color pink. She does cute crafts, I think her name is Elaina. I’m glad you have a big can to decorate, have fun creating. I absolutely love the posey pockets. Have a wonderful week and happy Easter! 🐇
We’ll I’m glad you found me! I love crafting so much, we just moved so my videos have been a little less but I’m going to get going again soon. I bought myself a dream box, so excited! Merry Christmas to you! Amy

Hi Lydia, thank you for subscribing! I appreciate your kind feedback and encouragement! I’ll have another video out at the end of this week, stay tuned! . . .
Amy love all the ideas!!! I have been trying to make the large can with the truck on it. How were able to get the swished together? It is so nice and flat on the bottom?
Hi Mary, I made a crease in the can after taking off the bottom end with the can opener. You may need to put it on the floor and step on it with a shoe to get it bent. I also used a hammer to get it smashed down. I hope this helps! Thank you for watching my video!
It looks like I used Drop Cloth by Dixie Belle. It is a cream color, there are probably similar paints in your area if you can’t find that specific brand. It is also a chalk paint. Cream color can be made with white paint and a small amount of yellow. I hope that helps! 😊
Put masking tape on the can b4 drilling. It should stop the drill from spinning off so quickly, then take tape off. Oh & put a wood block in the mouth of can NOT ur hand. Never Ever drill towards ur hand or fingers!! She's lucky she didn't drill through her hand or fingers!!
Amy - I LOVE these!!!!!!

Thank you Lynne! ❤️
Watched another can upcycle and she used the vise to crush the can bottom rather than a hammer. I noticed you had one in your shop.

Hello Amy, i love your Chanel!
Can i ask you wich couleur you used in the first little can?
❤ from portugal

How did you print the design on the tissue paper? Too thin for printer 🤷♀️
If you tape it to a piece of paper, it works to send it through the printer!
@@createwithamy5079 Did you just use scotch tape the tissue paper on the printer paper?
@@CoCo-zx4cd yes I sure did. The tissue paper should be new and it should be smaller than the piece of computer paper.
How do you get the truck picture onto the tissue? Will the tissue go through most printers?
Yes, I was able to print it on my inkjet HP printer. Tape your edges down well. Best of luck! 😊
I'm craft challenged. How did you print the pickup transfer on the tissue paper? Did it go through a standard printer?
Yes, you can print on the tissue paper used for gift bags. Tape it down well, make sure everything is smooth. Works great!
@@createwithamy5079 Thanks for the reply. Really liked that flower pocket!
also called smash cans
