Your passion to restore all these Donkey Kong Country tracks is inspiring man! I can only imagine the hours you spent on this and the dedication it takes. So underrated - but very much appreciated. Thank you so much!!!
My biggest dream is for a recreation of the original DKC trilogy in ultra high definition and beautiful graphics pared with your absolutely amazing, awesome and astonishing restorations of all the music.
I got to thinking… I wonder if the 007 sound part of this track was a teaser for Rares N64 007 golden eye that was released the following year of this game.
Yo sam, if you see comments from "Logan" "dot" or anyone that looks like a bot and says "good video, wanna be friends?" please dont reply nor interact with them. There is security breach currently going from these bots who steal your info and anything you have private/unlisted.
I'm gonna admit, something about this restoration sounds strange. Maybe it's just because the SNES compression created a really different feel, but this restoration sounds too bombastic. The mixing seems completely different from the SNES track. Also it's become very easy to tell how fake the brass is. I suppose this is just one of those tracks that was never meant to sound good before being converted into the SNES, which is fair because they were never meant to be heard outside the SNES.
yes, because in snes it uses only 1 sample per instrument to not use too much memory from the sound cpu, and in this restoration there are several samples for an instrument is multi-sampled.
This is my fave bonus theme of the trilogy
Samer here. Great minds think alike.
