@Giga Muhammad we actually use litres per 100 kms. Which makes it 6.7 lt/100km
Edit: people have correctly pointed out that its probably UK gallons making it 8.07 lt/100 kms

@@ahrred3127 It's not all that easy to put a completely new engine inside, you better be REALLY rich if you want it to be done right. I wouldn't like the V12 in the M8 though, it's too heavy and the car is 2 tons already.

The 860 is gonna be the luxurious GT and the M8 - the sporty GT.
V12 is more refined, but heavier, which won't be good for handling.
V8 can be tuned more and is lighter, so about the same speed, but one is more refined, the other is better handling.

OK. For everyone that wondering:
840d = 5.3 l/100km
M850i = 8.6 l/100km
I think he is using british MPG, so this is not correct.
840d = ~6.4 l/100km
M850i = ~10.4 l/100km
he trashed the M850i hence high mileage
Wtf my 1.8 litre merc consumes 10,5 L
10.4 is still very impressive for a V8. My 2017 Acura MDX never got close to that!
Can’t be 5.3 that’s almost 20 km per liter. That would make over 50 miles per gallon. Actually you’re not far off it’s around 6.5 but I didn’t use decimal places

Not familiar with flexiplus but friend of mine travels a lot and the company doing the travel bungled and put him on economy London to lax. He was fuming and I don’t blame him, it’s hard to go cattle class when you’ve spent years in business/first. That smile when the patrol first accelerated, genuine.

If you pay extra for flexiplus you can get on an earlier train if there's space available, have access to the flexiplus lounge etc, think of it like a business class ticket for a flight instead of economy

I find Flexi plus definitely worth it. No feeling of panic or rush when going to the tunnel, and on the way back. Worked perfectly when I broke my collar bone skiing thanks to some little french prick, and had to leave 3 days early.

For my european and international metric friends:
43,9 mpg = 5,4l/100km
27,3 mpg = 8,6l/100km
it's UK imperial mpg, so it is 6.4l/100 for the diesel and 10.3l/100 for the petrol.
