When the 10' boards come out, the door goes up. The Felder planer says "Is that all you got?!"
Not him catching a quick ride on it 😂😂
Excercise for this machine is probably 8 hour non stop planing and taking more than 1/8 per pass. It is an absolute beast!

The wood shop I've been doing a table building course at has this exact planer. It's so awesome.
Any regrets going with Felder? I have an SCM dealer 15 min down the road, and a SCM Nova slider… considering their planer (520 Nova) or a Felder (D951). Have a Hammer A331 right now, so considering the combo from Felder/Minimax, or just keeping my A3 as a Jointer only and sourcing planer.
I think that jointer is going to cause a problem if you ever plane anything bigger than 8/4????

Such a nice shop, I started woodworking but only had 10,000 to start. Had to close up shop.
You'll have to throw some South American or African hardwoods at that to make it sweat, it's a monster.

How do you like those puzzle mats on the floor? Any issues with tripping on the edges of them?
