I hope some of this information helps: 2v8, also known as Pack Hunters (First game that he played): There are 2 hunters and 8 survivors, along with 7 ciphers to be decoded. (In regular matches there is 1 hunter and 4 survivors, along with 5 ciphers to be decoded. So it’s basically doubled not included the ciphers.) In 2v8 you basically do the same thing as regular matches but you have more perks and things to do. • For survivors, you have to decode more ciphers and you can hold up to two skills, this includes all survivors (the skills only includes characters that run out of items/swap out items.) You have 4 pills (I forgot the names but I remember what they do) One can make you faster, one can make you decode faster, one can give you luck(you can’t get terror shocked out of certain skills), and one gives a faster healing time. You can also buy others skills in the same place as these pills (on the telephone.) These skills and pills cost a certain amount of points and you only get to have 24,000 points if you do things in game. (Decode, Save, Kite, Heal, Open Chests, etc) You have to have 8 survivors escape in order to win or have 4 survivors escape in order to tie. • For Hunters you have to kill/chair 8 survivors for a win or chair 4 survivors for a tie. You do not get to have other hunters skills, but you do get to have pills. There 4 types of pills (I forgot their names but I remember what they do) one gives you a speed boost, one give you faster cool down on your skill(s), one give you a faster hit animation, and one increases the time for survivors to die on chair. You and your teammate (the other hunter) must work together to kill/chair the 8 survivors. You also have a communication button, which is the speech bubble looking button, to communicate with your teammate, (this is also available with survivors) I don’t know much about Blackjack because I hate playing this mode. So I don’t remember much about how to play it. But if I remember correctly, in the first game of blackjack that he played everyone had to be over 21 points. That’s why everyone died. Otherwise the game would’ve went on. And if everyone is over 21 points then the person closest to 21 points would win. But in this case two people had 22 points, which makes the both of them the winners. Skills and Characters: • The little broom stick looking thing that you had at 3:47 that is a Magician Wand. It leaves a image of you behind and you turn invisible for 1-2 secs before being visible again. • The character you were playing in 2v8 was Mercenary. He had Elbow Pads 2:17 (bottom right corner of the screen.) These can give you an boost of speed for a few seconds by pushing yourself off objects. • This character is First Officer, he has a Pocket Watch that makes him invisible and makes and illusion of him trail behind him. That is that reason why you couldn’t hit him at 6:06. You would have to guess where he will go in order to hit him or move on to another survivor. • Acrobat has 3 different types of balls that he uses to jump. 8:16 One is red: a fire ball, this cancels all of your skills and you can only hit the survivors manually. One is Black: this slows down the hunter. And the last one is White: this makes your vaulting/pallet speed and picking up/chairing survivors speed drop. Whenever he uses his ball he jumps a short distance and is able to move while doing them. He can also do long jumps, but while doing long jumps he is unable to move. He spawns with 1 of each and can acquire 1 more of each of he decides 1 whole cipher (white balls) kites the hunter for 60 sec (red balls) and save a person off chair(black balls.) • This character uses perfumes. She can preserve her current self and backtrack to it. 8:04 So if she was fully healed, and she perfumes and then gets hit, she can perfume back and she will go back to being fully healed. If she is hit and she perfumes and gets hit she is down. If she is hit and perfumes and perfumes back, then she will still be hit. • Enchantress has stuns to stun the hunter. She has a maximum of 5 stacks. She can stun the hunter with one stack making it a quick stun. Or she can stun with a 3 stack, making it a long stun 9:23 Maps: • Arms Factory: 7:51 You would have to bring confined space with this map because you are right about getting looped. But with the new adjustments, you don’t have to bring it anymore, it’s more of a personal choice now. It’s a lot of information, I’m sorry!! Also your amazing at this game! You’re already a pro with Jack and his foggy blades! You had some amazing snipes with them! I would also like to say that the IdV community is very toxic, the higher up you climb the more toxic and stressing it gets. A lot of player have quit because of how toxic and how stressful it is. Both Survivors and Hunters can be very Toxic and Rude, it just depends on who you go up against. This game is also Very Very VERY Survivor sided. Though you may think wrong, as you gradually climb up the ranking system you start to experience more survivors, characters and skills. Hunters get nerfed quite frequently, while survivors get buffed. There is no balance in this game, that’s why hunters in higher ranks roam camp instead of going out to kill other survivors. Because there’s a thing called cipher rushing as well as accelerated decoding. These benefit the survivors to a point where hunters can’t do anything about it and will end up losing in the end. So hunters will tend to camp and stuff a save or double hit the person who’s rescuing and hit the survivor being rescued. There was a thing for hunters called Doom Shock where hunters would have a 40%chance of getting a terror shock as a regular hit when they were away from the chair. But they took this out of the game leaving hunters powerless. I am a survivor main but I do play hunter, and I always get fuked by cipher rush. Because even if you get an early down you can still lose.

@@DexterDerpia This is a bit late and I'm not sure if you are going to even continue playing this game or even uploading but, I will explain some things that you may or may not know. I also found this channel today and it seems like you upload once every 4 months -Blackjack: In this game mode it is a free for all. Every player picks a hunter and a survivor they want to be in that match. The player who has 21 or the highest amount of points without going bust at the end of a round wins the match. Ex: You are given a card and you reach 21 points. The round will then begin and if you make it to the end of the round without going bust then you would win. -Ex 2: There are 2 players left and the round has ended. One of them has 12 points total while the other has 22 points total. The player who got 22 would lose since he went bust. -You can go bust by people using their chips to buy items from the shop to screw you over, drawing a card from another player, and being dealt a card by the guy that passes out the cards. The items you purchase can let you give a card from your hand to another player, swap your hand with someone else, swap other people's hands, etc... -You have a Persona Tree, External Traits, and a skill. This goes for every character in the game excluding Lucky Guy (he doesn't start with any skill). -The Persona tree is like the perks you take with you into a match in DBD. The only difference between them is what the persona trait does. Also, you get a bunch of them to take with you into a match. -External Traits: They are passive effects that affect that character or multiple characters. They can either help or hurt the characters. -Ex: Mechanic has an External Trait that makes her decode a lot faster. Another External Trait she has makes it so all of her teammates decode 3% faster. To compensate for all of those abilities she was given an External Trait that makes her vault very slow. Skill: A special ability or item that may be unique to that character. -Ex: A skill that is unique is the Seer's magic owl that blocks a hit. An item would be the Wand. It can be used by any character that can pick up items. -There's way more stuff but yeah. I didn't want to make a novel so I stopped.
The dragging animation is in the game, but you need an accessory called soul emissary. But sadly this animation is gone for now until it gets voted again. This accessory is for the hunter who had the foggy blade(the dude with glow hand)
I was actually screaming where you can actually kite a geisha without her anti dash (That red thing you see on the screen if you are in her sight, If you are in her sight range, She will dash at you. To be able to stop her from dashing, Skill check her by pressing the anti dash. If you look at her she will feel shy and can't dash at you if you use that.) and btw geisha is that japanese gorl hunter in your 2v8 match
omg as someone investing time solely in IDV, i’ve watched pro IDV played DBD before and it was hella funny when they called gens as ciphers, repair as decode, mentioned detention and borrowed time and everything 😂 this is my first time seeing a DBD player plays IDV and i gotta say you have the talent!! though the skills in IDV are way more confusing, but you can become OP when you master them. also, at 2:18 you’re playing mercenary, he is the ultimate rescuer in this game so hunters would most likely to ignore you because mercenary has -25% decoding debuff so he decodes real slow, and he needs 3 hits on normal match before he’s down and 4 hits in this pack hunters before he’s down, and the iron dash to escape, so it’s wasting so much time to go after him when there are other fragile characters and faster decoders 😂 also, at 2:38 that red mark appeared and you’re required to use right-click mouse? that is the counter button to the Geisha, the scary female hunter. she can dash right at you, and you have to skillcheck her (do right click) far enough before she gets to you. If you invest more time in this game, you can learn about it later!!
Good news is after the geishas adjustment you wont have to look back at her to prevent her from dashing so you wont have to run backwards, bad news is that she doesnt need your permission to dash anymore...
Duo hunters: the scrolls are for you to buy potions/buffs or an item -Flare Gun~stuns the hunter for a few secs, in my opinion, one of the strongest item on the list (but be careful, hunters have a secondary skill, and one of the skills is called “excitement” which can block the stun) -wand~ makes you invisible for a few secs AND also make an illusion (most hunters won’t fall for this so they will try to hit randomly to try to hit you.) You can actually use the wand while ciphering and it will make the illusion “you” look like it’s ciphering. You can also use it while on a chair, that will make it look like you are still on the chair. -Perfume~ another really strong item on the list, if you know how to use it. This item really depends on your timing. If you spray the perfume it will make a pink figure of you. This figure basically traps the position you were in and if you press the perfume again, it will return you in that state. Mostly used when the player feels threatened or when the hunter gets too close. The best way to use the perfume is to spray it right before you get hit. Once you get hit, press(or press what ever slot its in, keys:123) the perfume again, and you’ll return to your previous state ( full health) you can also use the perfume to juke the hunter, spraying and pressing it again to confuse the hunter. (Be careful tho, hunters will notice that you sprayed it and most hunters will try to bait you into pressing the perfume.) -Elbow pads~ I noticed you were confused about the elbow pads. If you press the elbow pads or 1 for computers, you’ll noticed that the elbow pad is extended. Once it’s extended outwards, it’s ready to give you the boost of speed. You need to activate it by going against/touch a wall or structure, using your camera to aim for which direction you want to go in. Mercenary is actually one of the most strongest survivors in the game, and over the years he’s had one of the most downgrades , due to how strong he his. He used to have 4 elbow pads but now I think he only has 2 or 3. You need to save the elbow pads for emergencies only. (Or not your choice lol.) he also has a timer for hits. If he gets hit, he won’t get downed immediately, he will have a timer, and during he can heal, kite, vault, rescue, once the timer is done, that’s when he gets downed. -Football(American football)~this football gives you a charge attack. You can actually use this to attack the hunter by charging or tackling the hunter. This will stun the hunter, and if they have a survivor on the balloon, it will free the survivor. You can also use the football to put distance between you and the hunter (be careful though, once you hit a wall or structure, you will get stunned as well.) -Watch~ basically make and illusion and make your image be delayed for hunters. Again be careful, hunters will hit randomly to try to hit you. -Controller~ if you use this controller, it basically makes a bot and you can control the bot. The bot can vault, cipher, rescue, and heal. But once it’s hit, it will die. You can also use the bot when you’re on a chair. (But only if you already summoned it, so that’s why you should summon it first thing when you get it. Recommend to hide it also.) Ok I’m lazy now, I’ll add on when I don’t feel lazy anymore lol.
First Officer: He can use a magic pocket watch to become invisible and at the same time, project an afterimage of himself 1.5 seconds in the past. That is why you were hitting the air while chasing him in Black Jack, you were hitting the spot where he was 1.5 seconds ago, not his real self. Geisha: She is basically The Nurse from DBD, but with a lot of restrictions. She was reworked recently, so she works like this: She can summon butterflies, and she can dash at them (But only if she can see them, if she summons a butterfly behind a wall she will not be able to dash at it). If any survivor touches the butterfly, it will get stuck on the survivor. If that is the case, the survivor can "Look" at Geisha's face to prevent the dash. She can do a super-dash by ascending into the air. When she is not hunting any survivor, she will transform into her innocent form, which means she will have a small terror radius. 3:22, that is Barmaid in a DanganRonpa skin. Barmaid can mix drinks and then give them to her allies (Or drink them herself), each drink will heal 1 full-hit over several seconds, which allows you to keep kiting while being healed. Barmaid also carries 1 single bottle of a special drink, that allows her to run faster than the hunter for 5 seconds. Every time she mixes or drinks, she will get a permanent debuff on decoding because she will get drunk. She cannot give her drinks to minors (Coordinator and Mind's Eye). 3:47 Magician's wand. It will turn you invisible and leave behind a decoy of yourself. If you get hit while being invisible you will receive a Terror Shock, however, this will get reworked soon, so you will not get terror shocked anymore. 4:37 If your Hunter-Queue is too long, I'm sorry but you will have to play survivor and viceversa. I have notice tho, that if you play a lot (From 2 or more matches) as the opposite faction, the game will pretty much prioritize you so you can play what you want next time. In Black Jack, use your chips to buy flying cards. You can shoot them at other players to exchange cards and save yourself. If you have enough chips, you can even directly erase one of your cards on hand in the store. 7:24, You won because you and the Priestess were the closest ones to get 21. 8:04 She is Perfumer. She can use her perfume to record her health and position in time. She can re-cast the item before 6 seconds have passed to instantly return to her previous health and position. She has 3 perfumes. When hunting perfumers, you need to bait the activation of the perfume, and hit her only when her projection has finished. She has a 10-second cooldown before perfuming again, that's your hitting window. Camping can be a double-edged weapon. If the match is just starting (Cipher 5-4) you can go for other survivors. If there are 3 or fewer ciphers remaining, then you should camp. Jack is especially good at camping because of his double-hit (Foggy Blade). 8:21, Acrobat has 3 bombs that he can use while jumping (With his skills, he can vault a lot of obstacles that other survivors don't). The ice-bomb will slow your vaulting/breaking/capturing speed almost by 300%. The firebomb will prevent you from using your powers as long as you are on fire. And the mud bomb will slow your movement speed by half or something. He can reload 1 of each bomb by doing certain tasks. (Rescuing will give him his second mud bomb, and decoding will give him his second fire bomb ETC). 8:23 Jack can still drag the survivors, but only if you buy a special item for him (Said item was limited, and it only comes back on certain events). 8:29 You MUST tunnel. Here on IDV, tunneling is the rule, it is the normal thing done by hunters. Good survivors can finish all ciphers in 3 minutes or less, and remember, to eliminate a survivor you need 60 seconds. YOU, MUST, TUNNEL. Of course, if you think you are going to lose a lot of time by doing so, then avoid it and capture the rescuer instead. 8:33, "Listen" will get less and less useful with time. Survivors can avoid its activation by simply standing still. There is a skill called Abnormal, that allows you to kick Ciphers like in DBD, but it has a 90sc cooldown, it is ULTRA circumstantial, so, if you run this one, be careful to just use it on late-game, to prevent survivors from finishing their last cipher or something. "Teleport" is also a good option in almost every large map (Moonlit river park, Golden Cave, Eversleeping Town, Lakeside Village, ETC). If you play as Hunter in a map called "White Sand Street Asylum"... Give up. That freaking map is SO BAD for hunters, that Netease implemented a fix in the game, so it has an incredibly rare chance to appear in matches. It has like 2000 pallets, infinite loops, 400 windows, ETC ETC ETC. You don't want to play hunter on that map, believe me. If you attack survivors while falling from any place, you will have no attack recovery animation, which means: Double hits. The basement is really dangerous for survivors because Hunters can use the stairs to proc double hits by falling. 9:18 That was not a Terror Shock because you hit her before she started the vaulting. I don't know why she didn't try to vault earlier (Maybe she knew she was gonna get terror-shocked, or maybe she is still new and panicked and didn't vault). 9:53 Opening the exit gates requires only 20 seconds, so, you must be fast as fuck after the last cipher has been popped if you are still chasing someone. If you want to do Part-4, be careful when playing as Survivor, there is a new hunter called Doctor-Percy, which is basically Pyramyd head but on steroids. He can do infinite instant-dashes (That deal damage) and he can only win by bleeding you out (He can't use chairs), good luck
Oh okay, well I wouldn't mind having that! I also noticed a whole bunch of things that were changed from the old version to now. Scratch marks, blood, etc.
*additional pack hunter / 2v8 (from a survivor main) tips:* • try to move to a secluded cipher / an area that isn't in a prominent location. the added amount of players in the game will force the hunters to spawn closer to the survivors than normal. because of this, someone can and *will* be pursued first very early game. • when you get chaired for the first time, there is a time limit before you can be rescued by other people. your chair will be highlighted as teal during this phase. • when that time limit is done, you will be, as previously mentioned, able to be rescued. however, your chair counts down *way* faster. your chair will be highlighted red when you are able to be rescued. • opening chests at the very start of a round can be beneficial because you can carry an additional item. • when you have done enough things and have accumulated enough points, you should buy the perfume bottle (for effective/longer kiting) or the flare gun (for stunning/effective rescuing). • however, if you do indeed buy the flare gun, be wary of using it. there is only 2 or 3 of it available to be bought, and hunters in 2v8 often bring excitement to completely negate and counter any and all stuns. you can tell that a hunter has just used excitement when they glow gold. during this short period of time, they are immune to any and all slow effects and stuns. it has a relatively long cooldown though. • hunters in 2v8 often camp chairs when they are open to be rescued because of the time limit. be wary about this. • when your teammates tell you to focus on decoding, then *focus on decoding.* in mid-game or late-game 2v8, there are usually very few decoders because everyone else is busy kiting or rescuing. it gets very chaotic. • when you're injured and nobody is around to heal you, buy a syringe. don't be afraid to heal up once in a while. though, you _might_ have to buy two because the hunters always have a trait that decreases healing speed by a miniscule amount. it's a small debuff, but it's still quite annoying.
ironic cuz borrowed time in dbd is basically the equivalent to tide turner but you can heal yourself into damaged state once you mend yourself from endurance.
@@eatsomemelons222 yeah it’s nice looking at the similarities, the borrowed time in identity v is actually the equivalent to this survivor’s perk in dead by daylight called adrenaline rush which practically functions the same thing as borrowed time in identity v, lithe is the same function when you vault over pallets and windows, many more to it :)
Tip for hunter: go for one survivor at a time. Do not waste your time on a survivor that you didn’t chair, remember once you chaired them three times, they die immediately. If you chair them the first time and their health goes past the middle line, the next time you chair them, with will immediately die. So camp until the health reaches the middle line. For me personally I camp and don’t at the same time. I patrol the area look for trails and survivors while staying at a good distance from the chaired survivor. The reason why I do this is so that when a full health survivor comes to rescue, I can hit them (gets them to half health) and due to the distance, I can hit them again to down them before they rescue. Another tip is hit the survivor while they rescue. Most survivors will try to bait you to hit themselves or the chair. So be careful. Also, if a survivor is kiting you, and you can’t manage to hit the survivor, it’s time to give up. Time is precious and the kiter is simply wasting your time. I recommend trying to find a decoder character or a support (mechanic, doctor, prisoner, embalmer) than a rescuer and a kiter (Mercenary, forward, batter, gardener)in the beginning of the round. (Especially mercenary, he is built to waste a hunter’s time and effort.) Tip for when you rescue: bait the hunter into hitting the chair or yourself then while they are doing the animation, rescue the chaired survivor. By baiting I mean rescue the survivor but quickly get off the chair right before the hunter hits. If you do this at the wrong time, you will get terror shocked. So get used to the timing! Also, if you managed to rescue and still have full health, BODY BLOCK!!!! Stick close to the injured survivor and try to block the hunter from hitting the injured one. It’s better to get hit and borrow time for the injured survivor to run away then to let them get hit and chaired again. Most hunters will do the “one at a time” tactic as it’s the most effective. Use this as an advantage and body block or cipher. Remember, the hunter doesn’t want to hit you if they already have a target. It’s better to get an opening for the injured survivor to escape, as this will give them another chance to kite, resulting in more time to cipher and escape.
8:04 that's the perfumer. She can perfume and teleport back to the place she perfumed. If she perfumes before a hit, parfuming back is gonna forget the hit(this doesn't aply when u r injuried)
A little tips, If you ever go against a bloody queen main(red dressed lady or madame red)She's dangerous,she can literally hit you with her mirror image and you can't really hide behind walls since once the aqua mirror were placed,it reveals the survivor location,only the nearest,but depend on the player,if the player plays her bad then that means they doesn't know how to play her or something,if the player plays her good,then literally watch out.Oh and,her mirror image can't be stopped by obstacles,it just goes through it except if you ran into a wall,her mirror image just follow what you did.
Love it!! Also, if you rank up in tier you will be matched with more challenging and competitive players >u< Oh, and you won in blackjack with 22 (priestess also had 22 so tied) because you were still the closest to 21, idv doesn’t do all losers 😂
Rose Cane is an ascessory (rip English) for Ripper He'll hug a survivor but can't attack while carry them Save clues for a character you like Enchantress is a good choice if you're good at kitting (she receive stacks over time and can stun hunters)
Heres some things that might get confusing for you later on: in idv borrowed time is called tide turner, at the bottom of the persona web, and adrenaline is called borrowed time, at the right of the persona web. Also a tip: people prime ciphers (which is just 99%ing the last cipher machine) so when someone gets hit they finish it and borrowed time goes off and the survivor gets a huge speed boost and heal. To counter that you can use an ability that wont give you an attack animation like rippers foggy blade and have fast reaction, thats all I can say.
The reason the enchdass got up when she got knockdown is called a cipher pop when there's 1 cipher left and they see a person get knockdown they pop the cipher to make them get up on there feet but you will o have it in your persona web Also you can have a personal web for the hunter with extra powerups so like when the exits are avaliable to open there's something called detention it will be a 1 hit kill even if there fully heald there a 160 second time limit I think it was 160 seconds dont remember hope this was helpful
Make yourself a persona web, it'll greatly help, and also change your skill, listen is really poopy waters, try peepers with Jack. Jack has the ability to punch through thin walls with his foggy blades, peepers will help you see survivers through walls
Love this so far haha. The game just got a couple new characters added. Painter (Survivor), Sculptor (Hunter), and.. i’m not sure if entomologist came out before or after violinist..if after, then yeah she’s another character you missed
I stumbled into your channel again and saw this! It’s really awesome you’re still playing. I’m not sure if you know this but there’s a Single Training mode in Customs so you can try each character for free with AI control + Infinite items! I practice certain survs/hunters there or just f around lol
Ripper is actually pretty strong, if you attack against a wall your foggy blade will go through it, basically you can attack through walls with it but you have to be against it. All pro rippers do it. Its annoying to loop him cause if you attack right before getting stunned your foggy blade will hit the survivor that just stunned you.

The hunter is the Knight and one of the survivors is the King. The knight has to hunt down the other teams king while the other survivors (squires) protect their respective king. If you successfully eliminate the other teams King you win. Its SUUUPER FUN
In the notebook try checking hunter and survivor ability! also build your persona like that the game can be a bit easier, you are getting good at idv keep it up :)!

For duo hunters I tried to queue to be a hunter, I am a hunter main, but my bros, I wait 20+ minutes and never got a match, I just went back to survivor LMAOOO

This series have been great! So funny XD I would like to see what your reaction if you play axe boy, my hunter main. This is just here if you don't already know but: there is a rank match mode where you get star points so you can rank up and play with or against higher tier people like hound, elk, mammoth, etc. for the surv side and cobra, crocodile, sabertooth, etc. for the hunter side. You can also get 1 rank essence if you complete 3 rank matches per day which will give you various thing, if you are lucky enough you will get accessories that is just there for aesthetic ngl but their pretty so i go out of my way to get them. You can just ignore this if you already know all of that hehehehehe

• For survivors, you have to decode more ciphers and you can hold up to two skills, this includes all survivors (the skills only includes characters that run out of items/swap out items.) You have 4 pills (I forgot the names but I remember what they do) One can make you faster, one can make you decode faster, one can give you luck(you can’t get terror shocked out of certain skills), and one gives a faster healing time. You can also buy others skills in the same place as these pills (on the telephone.) These skills and pills cost a certain amount of points and you only get to have 24,000 points if you do things in game. (Decode, Save, Kite, Heal, Open Chests, etc) You have to have 8 survivors escape in order to win or have 4 survivors escape in order to tie.
• For Hunters you have to kill/chair 8 survivors for a win or chair 4 survivors for a tie. You do not get to have other hunters skills, but you do get to have pills. There 4 types of pills (I forgot their names but I remember what they do) one gives you a speed boost, one give you faster cool down on your skill(s), one give you a faster hit animation, and one increases the time for survivors to die on chair. You and your teammate (the other hunter) must work together to kill/chair the 8 survivors. You also have a communication button, which is the speech bubble looking button, to communicate with your teammate, (this is also available with survivors)
I don’t know much about Blackjack because I hate playing this mode. So I don’t remember much about how to play it. But if I remember correctly, in the first game of blackjack that he played everyone had to be over 21 points. That’s why everyone died. Otherwise the game would’ve went on. And if everyone is over 21 points then the person closest to 21 points would win. But in this case two people had 22 points, which makes the both of them the winners.
Skills and Characters:
• The little broom stick looking thing that you had at 3:47 that is a Magician Wand. It leaves a image of you behind and you turn invisible for 1-2 secs before being visible again.
• The character you were playing in 2v8 was Mercenary. He had Elbow Pads 2:17 (bottom right corner of the screen.) These can give you an boost of speed for a few seconds by pushing yourself off objects.
• This character is First Officer, he has a Pocket Watch that makes him invisible and makes and illusion of him trail behind him. That is that reason why you couldn’t hit him at 6:06. You would have to guess where he will go in order to hit him or move on to another survivor.
• Acrobat has 3 different types of balls that he uses to jump. 8:16 One is red: a fire ball, this cancels all of your skills and you can only hit the survivors manually. One is Black: this slows down the hunter. And the last one is White: this makes your vaulting/pallet speed and picking up/chairing survivors speed drop. Whenever he uses his ball he jumps a short distance and is able to move while doing them. He can also do long jumps, but while doing long jumps he is unable to move. He spawns with 1 of each and can acquire 1 more of each of he decides 1 whole cipher (white balls) kites the hunter for 60 sec (red balls) and save a person off chair(black balls.)
• This character uses perfumes. She can preserve her current self and backtrack to it. 8:04 So if she was fully healed, and she perfumes and then gets hit, she can perfume back and she will go back to being fully healed. If she is hit and she perfumes and gets hit she is down. If she is hit and perfumes and perfumes back, then she will still be hit.
• Enchantress has stuns to stun the hunter. She has a maximum of 5 stacks. She can stun the hunter with one stack making it a quick stun. Or she can stun with a 3 stack, making it a long stun 9:23
Maps:
• Arms Factory: 7:51 You would have to bring confined space with this map because you are right about getting looped. But with the new adjustments, you don’t have to bring it anymore, it’s more of a personal choice now.

I would also like to say that the IdV community is very toxic, the higher up you climb the more toxic and stressing it gets. A lot of player have quit because of how toxic and how stressful it is. Both Survivors and Hunters can be very Toxic and Rude, it just depends on who you go up against.
This game is also Very Very VERY Survivor sided. Though you may think wrong, as you gradually climb up the ranking system you start to experience more survivors, characters and skills. Hunters get nerfed quite frequently, while survivors get buffed. There is no balance in this game, that’s why hunters in higher ranks roam camp instead of going out to kill other survivors. Because there’s a thing called cipher rushing as well as accelerated decoding. These benefit the survivors to a point where hunters can’t do anything about it and will end up losing in the end. So hunters will tend to camp and stuff a save or double hit the person who’s rescuing and hit the survivor being rescued. There was a thing for hunters called Doom Shock where hunters would have a 40%chance of getting a terror shock as a regular hit when they were away from the chair. But they took this out of the game leaving hunters powerless. I am a survivor main but I do play hunter, and I always get fuked by cipher rush. Because even if you get an early down you can still lose.

@@DexterDerpia This is a bit late and I'm not sure if you are going to even continue playing this game or even uploading but, I will explain some things that you may or may not know. I also found this channel today and it seems like you upload once every 4 months
-Blackjack: In this game mode it is a free for all. Every player picks a hunter and a survivor they want to be in that match. The player who has 21 or the highest amount of points without going bust at the end of a round wins the match. Ex: You are given a card and you reach 21 points. The round will then begin and if you make it to the end of the round without going bust then you would win.
-Ex 2: There are 2 players left and the round has ended. One of them has 12 points total while the other has 22 points total. The player who got 22 would lose since he went bust.
-You can go bust by people using their chips to buy items from the shop to screw you over, drawing a card from another player, and being dealt a card by the guy that passes out the cards. The items you purchase can let you give a card from your hand to another player, swap your hand with someone else, swap other people's hands, etc...
-You have a Persona Tree, External Traits, and a skill. This goes for every character in the game excluding Lucky Guy (he doesn't start with any skill).
-The Persona tree is like the perks you take with you into a match in DBD. The only difference between them is what the persona trait does. Also, you get a bunch of them to take with you into a match.
-External Traits: They are passive effects that affect that character or multiple characters. They can either help or hurt the characters.
-Ex: Mechanic has an External Trait that makes her decode a lot faster. Another External Trait she has makes it so all of her teammates decode 3% faster. To compensate for all of those abilities she was given an External Trait that makes her vault very slow.
Skill: A special ability or item that may be unique to that character.
-Ex: A skill that is unique is the Seer's magic owl that blocks a hit. An item would be the Wand. It can be used by any character that can pick up items.
-There's way more stuff but yeah. I didn't want to make a novel so I stopped.

To be able to stop her from dashing, Skill check her by pressing the anti dash. omg as someone investing time solely in IDV, i’ve watched pro IDV played DBD before and it was hella funny when they called gens as ciphers, repair as decode, mentioned detention and borrowed time and everything 😂 this is my first time seeing a DBD player plays IDV and i gotta say you have the talent!! though the skills in IDV are way more confusing, but you can become OP when you master them.
also, at 2:18 you’re playing mercenary, he is the ultimate rescuer in this game so hunters would most likely to ignore you because mercenary has -25% decoding debuff so he decodes real slow, and he needs 3 hits on normal match before he’s down and 4 hits in this pack hunters before he’s down, and the iron dash to escape, so it’s wasting so much time to go after him when there are other fragile characters and faster decoders 😂 also, at 2:38 that red mark appeared and you’re required to use right-click mouse? that is the counter button to the Geisha, the scary female hunter. she can dash right at you, and you have to skillcheck her (do right click) far enough before she gets to you. If you invest more time in this game, you can learn about it later!!
Good news is after the geishas adjustment you wont have to look back at her to prevent her from dashing so you wont have to run backwards, bad news is that she doesnt need your permission to dash anymore...

In Blackjack, when everyone is over 21 the person with the lowest amount of points automatically wins.
Duo hunters: the scrolls are for you to buy potions/buffs or an item
-Flare Gun~stuns the hunter for a few secs, in my opinion, one of the strongest item on the list (but be careful, hunters have a secondary skill, and one of the skills is called “excitement” which can block the stun)
-wand~ makes you invisible for a few secs AND also make an illusion (most hunters won’t fall for this so they will try to hit randomly to try to hit you.) You can actually use the wand while ciphering and it will make the illusion “you” look like it’s ciphering. You can also use it while on a chair, that will make it look like you are still on the chair.
-Perfume~ another really strong item on the list, if you know how to use it. This item really depends on your timing. If you spray the perfume it will make a pink figure of you. This figure basically traps the position you were in and if you press the perfume again, it will return you in that state. Mostly used when the player feels threatened or when the hunter gets too close. The best way to use the perfume is to spray it right before you get hit. Once you get hit, press(or press what ever slot its in, keys:123) the perfume again, and you’ll return to your previous state ( full health) you can also use the perfume to juke the hunter, spraying and pressing it again to confuse the hunter. (Be careful tho, hunters will notice that you sprayed it and most hunters will try to bait you into pressing the perfume.)
-Elbow pads~ I noticed you were confused about the elbow pads. If you press the elbow pads or 1 for computers, you’ll noticed that the elbow pad is extended. Once it’s extended outwards, it’s ready to give you the boost of speed. You need to activate it by going against/touch a wall or structure, using your camera to aim for which direction you want to go in. Mercenary is actually one of the most strongest survivors in the game, and over the years he’s had one of the most downgrades , due to how strong he his. He used to have 4 elbow pads but now I think he only has 2 or 3. You need to save the elbow pads for emergencies only. (Or not your choice lol.) he also has a timer for hits. If he gets hit, he won’t get downed immediately, he will have a timer, and during he can heal, kite, vault, rescue, once the timer is done, that’s when he gets downed.
-Football(American football)~this football gives you a charge attack. You can actually use this to attack the hunter by charging or tackling the hunter. This will stun the hunter, and if they have a survivor on the balloon, it will free the survivor. You can also use the football to put distance between you and the hunter (be careful though, once you hit a wall or structure, you will get stunned as well.)
-Watch~ basically make and illusion and make your image be delayed for hunters. Again be careful, hunters will hit randomly to try to hit you.
-Controller~ if you use this controller, it basically makes a bot and you can control the bot. The bot can vault, cipher, rescue, and heal. But once it’s hit, it will die. You can also use the bot when you’re on a chair. (But only if you already summoned it, so that’s why you should summon it first thing when you get it. Recommend to hide it also.)
Ok I’m lazy now, I’ll add on when I don’t feel lazy anymore lol.
First Officer: He can use a magic pocket watch to become invisible and at the same time, project an afterimage of himself 1.5 seconds in the past. That is why you were hitting the air while chasing him in Black Jack, you were hitting the spot where he was 1.5 seconds ago, not his real self.
Geisha: She is basically The Nurse from DBD, but with a lot of restrictions. She was reworked recently, so she works like this: She can summon butterflies, and she can dash at them (But only if she can see them, if she summons a butterfly behind a wall she will not be able to dash at it). If any survivor touches the butterfly, it will get stuck on the survivor. If that is the case, the survivor can "Look" at Geisha's face to prevent the dash. She can do a super-dash by ascending into the air. When she is not hunting any survivor, she will transform into her innocent form, which means she will have a small terror radius.
3:22, that is Barmaid in a DanganRonpa skin. Barmaid can mix drinks and then give them to her allies (Or drink them herself), each drink will heal 1 full-hit over several seconds, which allows you to keep kiting while being healed. Barmaid also carries 1 single bottle of a special drink, that allows her to run faster than the hunter for 5 seconds. Every time she mixes or drinks, she will get a permanent debuff on decoding because she will get drunk. She cannot give her drinks to minors (Coordinator and Mind's Eye).
3:47 Magician's wand. It will turn you invisible and leave behind a decoy of yourself. If you get hit while being invisible you will receive a Terror Shock, however, this will get reworked soon, so you will not get terror shocked anymore.
4:37 If your Hunter-Queue is too long, I'm sorry but you will have to play survivor and viceversa. I have notice tho, that if you play a lot (From 2 or more matches) as the opposite faction, the game will pretty much prioritize you so you can play what you want next time.
In Black Jack, use your chips to buy flying cards. You can shoot them at other players to exchange cards and save yourself. If you have enough chips, you can even directly erase one of your cards on hand in the store.
7:24, You won because you and the Priestess were the closest ones to get 21.
8:04 She is Perfumer. She can use her perfume to record her health and position in time. She can re-cast the item before 6 seconds have passed to instantly return to her previous health and position. She has 3 perfumes. When hunting perfumers, you need to bait the activation of the perfume, and hit her only when her projection has finished. She has a 10-second cooldown before perfuming again, that's your hitting window.
Camping can be a double-edged weapon. If the match is just starting (Cipher 5-4) you can go for other survivors. If there are 3 or fewer ciphers remaining, then you should camp. Jack is especially good at camping because of his double-hit (Foggy Blade).
8:21, Acrobat has 3 bombs that he can use while jumping (With his skills, he can vault a lot of obstacles that other survivors don't). The ice-bomb will slow your vaulting/breaking/capturing speed almost by 300%. The firebomb will prevent you from using your powers as long as you are on fire. And the mud bomb will slow your movement speed by half or something. He can reload 1 of each bomb by doing certain tasks. (Rescuing will give him his second mud bomb, and decoding will give him his second fire bomb ETC).
8:23 Jack can still drag the survivors, but only if you buy a special item for him (Said item was limited, and it only comes back on certain events).
8:29 You MUST tunnel. Here on IDV, tunneling is the rule, it is the normal thing done by hunters. Good survivors can finish all ciphers in 3 minutes or less, and remember, to eliminate a survivor you need 60 seconds. YOU, MUST, TUNNEL. Of course, if you think you are going to lose a lot of time by doing so, then avoid it and capture the rescuer instead.
8:33, "Listen" will get less and less useful with time. Survivors can avoid its activation by simply standing still. There is a skill called Abnormal, that allows you to kick Ciphers like in DBD, but it has a 90sc cooldown, it is ULTRA circumstantial, so, if you run this one, be careful to just use it on late-game, to prevent survivors from finishing their last cipher or something. "Teleport" is also a good option in almost every large map (Moonlit river park, Golden Cave, Eversleeping Town, Lakeside Village, ETC).
If you play as Hunter in a map called "White Sand Street Asylum"... Give up. That freaking map is SO BAD for hunters, that Netease implemented a fix in the game, so it has an incredibly rare chance to appear in matches. It has like 2000 pallets, infinite loops, 400 windows, ETC ETC ETC. You don't want to play hunter on that map, believe me.
If you attack survivors while falling from any place, you will have no attack recovery animation, which means: Double hits. The basement is really dangerous for survivors because Hunters can use the stairs to proc double hits by falling.
9:18 That was not a Terror Shock because you hit her before she started the vaulting. I don't know why she didn't try to vault earlier (Maybe she knew she was gonna get terror-shocked, or maybe she is still new and panicked and didn't vault).
9:53 Opening the exit gates requires only 20 seconds, so, you must be fast as fuck after the last cipher has been popped if you are still chasing someone.
If you want to do Part-4, be careful when playing as Survivor, there is a new hunter called Doctor-Percy, which is basically Pyramyd head but on steroids. He can do infinite instant-dashes (That deal damage) and he can only win by bleeding you out (He can't use chairs), good luck

*additional pack hunter / 2v8 (from a survivor main) tips:*
• try to move to a secluded cipher / an area that isn't in a prominent location. the added amount of players in the game will force the hunters to spawn closer to the survivors than normal. because of this, someone can and *will* be pursued first very early game.
• when you get chaired for the first time, there is a time limit before you can be rescued by other people. your chair will be highlighted as teal during this phase.
• when that time limit is done, you will be, as previously mentioned, able to be rescued. however, your chair counts down *way* faster. your chair will be highlighted red when you are able to be rescued.
• opening chests at the very start of a round can be beneficial because you can carry an additional item.
• when you have done enough things and have accumulated enough points, you should buy the perfume bottle (for effective/longer kiting) or the flare gun (for stunning/effective rescuing).
• however, if you do indeed buy the flare gun, be wary of using it. there is only 2 or 3 of it available to be bought, and hunters in 2v8 often bring excitement to completely negate and counter any and all stuns.
you can tell that a hunter has just used excitement when they glow gold. during this short period of time, they are immune to any and all slow effects and stuns. it has a relatively long cooldown though.
• hunters in 2v8 often camp chairs when they are open to be rescued because of the time limit. be wary about this.
• when your teammates tell you to focus on decoding, then *focus on decoding.* in mid-game or late-game 2v8, there are usually very few decoders because everyone else is busy kiting or rescuing. it gets very chaotic.
• when you're injured and nobody is around to heal you, buy a syringe. don't be afraid to heal up once in a while. though, you _might_ have to buy two because the hunters always have a trait that decreases healing speed by a miniscule amount. it's a small debuff, but it's still quite annoying.

At 9:35 is a survivor's skill called Borrowed Time that allows them to be healed (and boost their speed) when the Exit Gate is activated
ironic cuz borrowed time in dbd is basically the equivalent to tide turner but you can heal yourself into damaged state once you mend yourself from endurance.

Tip for hunter: go for one survivor at a time. Do not waste your time on a survivor that you didn’t chair, remember once you chaired them three times, they die immediately. If you chair them the first time and their health goes past the middle line, the next time you chair them, with will immediately die. So camp until the health reaches the middle line. For me personally I camp and don’t at the same time. I patrol the area look for trails and survivors while staying at a good distance from the chaired survivor. The reason why I do this is so that when a full health survivor comes to rescue, I can hit them (gets them to half health) and due to the distance, I can hit them again to down them before they rescue. Another tip is hit the survivor while they rescue. Most survivors will try to bait you to hit themselves or the chair. So be careful. Also, if a survivor is kiting you, and you can’t manage to hit the survivor, it’s time to give up. Time is precious and the kiter is simply wasting your time. I recommend trying to find a decoder character or a support (mechanic, doctor, prisoner, embalmer) than a rescuer and a kiter (Mercenary, forward, batter, gardener)in the beginning of the round. (Especially mercenary, he is built to waste a hunter’s time and effort.)
Tip for when you rescue: bait the hunter into hitting the chair or yourself then while they are doing the animation, rescue the chaired survivor. By baiting I mean rescue the survivor but quickly get off the chair right before the hunter hits. If you do this at the wrong time, you will get terror shocked. So get used to the timing! Also, if you managed to rescue and still have full health, BODY BLOCK!!!! Stick close to the injured survivor and try to block the hunter from hitting the injured one. It’s better to get hit and borrow time for the injured survivor to run away then to let them get hit and chaired again. Most hunters will do the “one at a time” tactic as it’s the most effective. Use this as an advantage and body block or cipher. Remember, the hunter doesn’t want to hit you if they already have a target. It’s better to get an opening for the injured survivor to escape, as this will give them another chance to kite, resulting in more time to cipher and escape.

If you ever go against a bloody queen main(red dressed lady or madame red)She's dangerous,she can literally hit you with her mirror image and you can't really hide behind walls since once the aqua mirror were placed,it reveals the survivor location,only the nearest,but depend on the player,if the player plays her bad then that means they doesn't know how to play her or something,if the player plays her good,then literally watch out.Oh and,her mirror image can't be stopped by obstacles,it just goes through it except if you ran into a wall,her mirror image just follow what you did.

When you played blackjack I felt that. I played with others I befriended on idv and I was so confused
Heres some things that might get confusing for you later on: in idv borrowed time is called tide turner, at the bottom of the persona web, and adrenaline is called borrowed time, at the right of the persona web. Also a tip: people prime ciphers (which is just 99%ing the last cipher machine) so when someone gets hit they finish it and borrowed time goes off and the survivor gets a huge speed boost and heal. To counter that you can use an ability that wont give you an attack animation like rippers foggy blade and have fast reaction, thats all I can say.
The reason the enchdass got up when she got knockdown is called a cipher pop when there's 1 cipher left and they see a person get knockdown they pop the cipher to make them get up on there feet but you will o have it in your persona web
Also you can have a personal web for the hunter with extra powerups so like when the exits are avaliable to open there's something called detention it will be a 1 hit kill even if there fully heald there a 160 second time limit I think it was 160 seconds dont remember hope this was helpful

I stumbled into your channel again and saw this! It’s really awesome you’re still playing. I’m not sure if you know this but there’s a Single Training mode in Customs so you can try each character for free with AI control + Infinite items! I practice certain survs/hunters there or just f around lol
Ripper is actually pretty strong, if you attack against a wall your foggy blade will go through it, basically you can attack through walls with it but you have to be against it. All pro rippers do it. Its annoying to loop him cause if you attack right before getting stunned your foggy blade will hit the survivor that just stunned you.

its basically Protect The King; you got a team of 4 with 1 hunter and 3 survivors against another team. The hunter is the Knight and one of the survivors is the King. The knight has to hunt down the other teams king while the other survivors (squires) protect their respective king. If you successfully eliminate the other teams King you win. Its SUUUPER FUN
In the notebook try checking hunter and survivor ability! also build your persona like that the game can be a bit easier, you are getting good at idv keep it up :)!

This is just here if you don't already know but: there is a rank match mode where you get star points so you can rank up and play with or against higher tier people like hound, elk, mammoth, etc. for the surv side and cobra, crocodile, sabertooth, etc. for the hunter side.
You can also get 1 rank essence if you complete 3 rank matches per day which will give you various thing, if you are lucky enough you will get accessories that is just there for aesthetic ngl but their pretty so i go out of my way to get them.
You can just ignore this if you already know all of that hehehehehe
