Here's a tip if you plan on playing idv more, in idv all hunters camp, in high tiers survivors are considered quite powerful because they can vc and team up, and they are good at it, so you must realize, every hunter camps and tunnels one person at the beginning, if you do not there is a highly likely chance they will lose due to the very fast cipher decoding speed allowing them to cipher rush, secondly, in high tiers everyone relies heavily on bt, or known as borrowed time, it's almost exactly like adrenaline in dbd but we use it more strategically, we will wait for a teammate to get downed by the hunter, then pop the last cipher allowing them to get up quickly to kite while others open the gate and escape, we rely heavily on a well timed cipher pop, if you pop at a bad time you can throw the entire tide of the game, secondly, tide turner, it's like a ability in dbd but different, if you have it and you rescue, both of you get tt for 20 seconds, making it so you never get downed no matter how many times you are hit, but only for that duration, it is sometimes useful in some situations, but more commonly it is used so the rescuer can bodyblock multiple hits for their teammate, to allow them to get to a better kiting area, they then heal up and decode,that's all I have for you, also with violinist you can do more than place a string and put it down where you are, while it can be used like that to hit survivors, it is not impossible to avoid if you know that the hunters doing that, instead maybe try to put one down far away, and move the second ones position to where the survivor is heading to cut them off, next and lastly his ability which multiple lines of strings, they can damage and even down multiple survivors at once, though that would be quite hard to avoid and very powerful, so instead the devs made it so there is space in between each line, if you stand there you will not get hit when the line reaches you, that is how one person avoided your ability in this video, I hope this helps
@TROY CABAN I’m kinda late but if you don’t have to camp as dream witch but if you have a lot of leeches in the map you can use the spawn leech to camp the chair a leech that will guard the chair and another leech to disturb the decoding so less chiper rush since chiper rush is insane in idv so basically a lot of multitasking
@@marshll500 a lot of people dont mind camping, and its a good strategy for hunters. I’ve also been told some hunters are even made for camping. As long as its not face-camping i’m pretty sure its alright.
To combat camping, if the hunter hits the chair or the wall it will “stun” them for a few seconds giving the survivors the opportunity to save their teammates. There are also rescue survivors who can stun the hunter like the Coordinator and the forward
@@basicallyc Enchantress can be a rescuer! Although, since she's designed to be a kiter her stuns don't last very long, unless you save up for the long stun- and stunning at the right time when the survivor gets picked sometimes is annoying since the hunter usually can just hit them down again lol

Yeah I play minds eye occasionally (in general I main decoders), AND THE FIRST TIME I PLAYED AS HER- She can't see ftmp and she's not v fast... If you leave her alone she can pop like 3 ciphers tho
You should do a pros and cons vid comparing dbd(mobile) and idv. My experience is that idv has more dedicated roles for survivors (ex: better at kiting or decoding but debuff elsewhere.) And dbd has more "balanced" survivors able to perform most job functions without a debuff (that im aware of). Would love to hear your opinions and thoughts on the topic.
Here's a tip for going against that hunter, her main body is invisible and she creates followers on people, those followers follow the person they are created on, and can only be removed by the person they are created on, similarly, if your own follower hits you, it will disappear and the hunter will have to get you again, the main hunters large advantage is that she has multiple bodies she can control, the main one, which is fast, invisible and cannot be interacted with and the followers which can do near everything a normal hunter can, to remove the followers you go to the spot where they are created and pick up a mark, that will allow you to remove the follower, removing it completely, it is quite slow if you do it on your own but if someone else picks up a mark they can remove it much faster, a few other things, when not in control of a follower, that follower will automatically follow the person it was created on, when not in control, the followers movement speed is much faster, it also automatically vaults windows and breaks pallets, this is all to make sure that it can catch up to you, but remember, it cannot hit you unless it is being controlled, a good way to tell if it is, is by the red light, it will appear/disappear accordingly, if you go against her again, just make sure you pick up the mark and remove the follower because she can use your follower to kill your teammates and win

You can hide from the Dead By Daylight killers by crouching right by them because they can't see around them only in front. If they don't know someone is around they'll just go on ahead. Not only that but kiting doesn't/barely exist in Dbd compared to Idv.

For more tips. just watch tournaments lol IDV has a lot of tournaments- IVL (CN tournament), IJL (JP tournament), IVC ( SEA, Na/Eu, South Korea, MO-HK-TW tournament - all regions done separately), IVT (Vietnam tournament). Also shows you how strong professional players are, strongest regions right now are CN and and Na/Eu is at the bottom. Actually, the whole Na/Eu server just sucks lol. Also there's a tournament called COA, it's an international tournament with all the servers' best teams fight, IVS is also an international tournament, kinda like a mini COA. Also teaches you idv mind games, techniques and stuff, just a lot about idv lol
Switch the trait you're using uwu. Trump card + detention (persona build) is good for violinist. Use trait peeper early game and switch to teleport or abnormal late game. It's better on him than using listening :3
If ur new and u play as doctor in identity v Tip In the talents page Get borrowed time and Broken windows And also max the Shxt out of the doctor trait so u can heal faster

You should give a try playing rank matches until you reach dragon, on that tier you’ll see the pain of the cipher rush. You must play perfect as hunter. On dbd killers are op But here... survivors are insanely unbalanced, even the bullys rush ciphers good enough

When you get to higher tiers, that stops happening, for one, and 2, it's after 3 matches that you get bots.
