Hello everyone! Hope you're having a good weekend! I am thoroughly impressed by how much I'm enjoying this game so far! The next episode will be out on Monday. If you enjoy, don't forget to like, comment and subscribe! Thanks for watching! ❤❤
- Some Comms towers can't be completed until you get gadget upgrades. - Good way to gather plenty of XP is side stuff which is also interesting for story reasons. - Also you might want to explore the Batcave (combat and predator challenges can be found here) and talk to Alfred whenever you are there. - As far as combat goes the instant takedown is really good thing to use, especially on tougher opponents (Y+B/Triangle+Circle). - After you finish Origins you should consider posting your reaction to the Riddler's story in chronological order (Origins - Asylum - City) if you are planning on doing his missions in Knight.
What I love about this is just how angry Batman is. Compared to the first two, you always have this calm and collected Batman. Here, he always has his hands up with the "Punch first, ask questions later," attitude.
Fun Fact: The voice actor for Batman in this game, Roger Craig Smith, also voices Sonic the Hedgehog sometimes. Voice actors scare me Also, some of the assassins only show up in side missions, so they’re worth your time to check out
Yee. I find that funny aswell. I'm a Sonic Fan (obviously) and a big Batman Fan. Funfact: It's not the only time Sonic and Batman are referencing each other.. In 2022, a Batman Comic with Riddler as main Villian came out and his Hidden Place was in a Casino from a Sonic Game (Sonic Adventure 1). While Sonic was referencing in a Comic and in his second Movie to Batman.
23:19 You’re absolutely right. He’s younger, more full of fire in him, still learning on the job. He has a lot to prove to become known and feared among the criminal underworld
Really recommend watching the interview tapes of Asylum and City because they offer some of the most character heavy and interesting dialogues in the entire series.
12:58 One of the neat easter eggs is those green circles on the decoder screen are radio stations. If you put the cursor over them you can listen to various things like Vicki Vale talking about the news, some ads and music, and one of them is Anarchy running an underground radio station where he literally reads passages from Carl Marx for like 15 minutes straight. 😄
The crime scene investigation were one of the best in this game. It built so much hype and story as you continued gathering evidence. Knew you were going to somewhat love the game for the story! Can't wait for part 3!
The thing about Batman is deep down inside, he’s still that little boy that watched his parents get shot. It shows in his first years. An angry kid who can’t move on. He is vengeance.
Your combat is top-notch. Clearimg out rooms without getting hit and maintaining a combo is no easy feat. Also, I love how your first instinct was to scan the moneybag in the vents like a riddle 😂
Unlike the other Batman games, the thing interesting and really cool about this one is that as you progress through the game itself and fight enemies and bosses, Batman’s cape starts getting holes in it from all those fights/boss fights. Man I love this game bc they actually paid a good amount of attention to the minor details too, please keep posting great vids like these bc they make my day and your commentary!!!
@@dimplegaming33 Oh lol, I really did think it was mostly just Origins and Asylum, but didn’t actually know City and Arkham Knight had it too. Thank you for correcting me!
Alright, this is starting to become one of my favorite channels. I don't know why, but I never question why I like things; I just have fun liking them.
Loving the play-through, Sky! It’s great to see how you’ve gotten better as you progressed through each game! Can’t wait to hear your overall thoughts once you’re done with all 4 games
28:35 Thug: "What is happening?!" Batman: "You're violating curfew-but it's still going to be lights out." Also, 52:50, nitroglycerin is used to treat a variety of heart conditions. It's diluted from the form used as an explosive.
Watching you discover the Arkham verse is a real joy. I am glad this game is actually really liked a lot by many. It recieved a lot of criticism but it really is fun.
Anarky is a relatively new addition to Batmans rouges gallery. He's an interesting Anti-Hero more than an outright villan. But he is still ultimately extremely ruthless and will do just about anything and eliminate anyone who stands in his way, innocent or not. Also the detective stuff that this game has is really great, it showcases the part of Batman that they basically ignore in the movies, in that he is actually an extremely good detective, and is called "The Worlds' Greatest Detective" for a reason in the DC universe.
Fun fact about Deathstroke. Comic writer and artist Rob Liefeld confirmed that the Marvel character Deadpool is actually a parody of DC's Deathstroke, right down to their names being similar, too (Deadpool being Wade Wilson while Deathstroke is Slade Wilson). It just so happens that this is a case where the parody outgrew the original in popularity.
In addition there is also a version of Deathstoke from an Antimatter universe from the Superman/Batman Annual from 2006 who is based on Deadpool in turn (as in he has the same eye shape, healing powers and comedic tone).
A few tips: If you try to do a ground takedown while other thugs are still standing up, they will most likely get to you in time to stop it. If you’re mid-punch, you won’t be able to counter. Don’t forget to look at the hints in the center of the screen with new enemy types Hope that helps!
Your playthroughs of the Arkham games have been an incredibly fun to watch as these videos quickly became a refuge for me to just take it easy with and enjoy others play the games I fell in love with. Take care, and thank you!
No joke, as someone who has only once played through with no counter prompts, I was impressed with you beating Deathstroke without them last episode. That's no small feat because the timing is a little precise.
Nice. Really enjoying going through this game again and seeing your reactions to everything. I think this is my favorite part of the game, something about sneaking and working your way through the GCPD is so epic and tense everytime. Can't wait for next vid!
The only thing I never understood is how did Batman have the grapple boost in this game if it was in the prototype stage in Arkham City and this game takes place waaay before Arkham Asylum? 🤔🧐🤯
As you can probably see by now, this game introduces some pretty cool mechanics. Specifically with the detective stuff. It makes the gameplay and story that much more fun because you actually do feel like you're playing as the worlds greatest detective. Also there's quite a few Robins. Anarky isn't one of them tho. You might be thinking of the main or the 1st robin who I think you read about. His family were gymnasts called the flying Graysons. Unfortunately they died during the middle of a sabotaged circus act while he was a child and Bruce Wayne took him in after. He eventually found out about Bruce's secret identity and then became robin and later nightwing. You'll probably learn a lil more about a couple other ones later in the series as well.
So glad your playing this oneas well!! The story is highly underrated. I'd go as far as to say its almost as good if not a better narrative than its counterparts.
Oh nice! You got the counter prompt back on. Now it’ll be easier to counter and get high combos. Hoping to see you beat your personal combos record on Origins.
Holly cheese Batman, is SKYTEA! With another episode of Arkham Origins! I’m definitely looking forward to this. This trilogy has been phenomenal Sky! Good gaming as always. You have been absolutely astounding! I can’t wait to watch you play Arkham Knight next
Omg I’m loving your reactions to this game. It gets a lot of hate because of the different VAs and because it borrows some stuff from AC but it’s still a great game with some of the coolest and unique abilities in the game, loved your reaction to hearing the joker for the first time in this game
A couple of quick things you might want to check out as you go that might be easy to miss: - In the Batcave there's a training spot with a computer you can click on that opens up the challenge menus. One of the interesting things you can try there is you can play Campaign maps as Deathstroke. Deathstroke's controls are similar to Batman's with some tweaks and his animations and voice are entirely unique to him. - As you collect Riddler's data tablets they periodically unlock audio clips from different characters in their profile. If you go to the character profiles table and you see a character that has a tape reel in the lower right corner of their portrait then one of the options if you look at their profile is to listen to a recording of them (presumably doing something that Riddler thought was worth blackmailing them over.)
@@richardstark1158holy dick suck, if you watch her asylum gameplay vs this one she in fact has got way better at all aspects of the game, she may not play as good as you want but guess what you have the ability to play the game yourself 😂
You're getting really good at the combat, but I would advise you to start using more your combo special moves. They're an important part of the combat, even more so in Knight, and I find them most useful to take out special thugs, be it armored thugs, shielded, armed, or the electric baton thugs. They will make combat way more enjoyable once you know how to use them.
Sky! I’m seeing no slurring into the vents! Hold RT while you’re running into a vent! It works! And you’ll need to do it in your final big boss battle! This is a very younger Batman, one that is yes, more aggressive! “You fight like a younger man! Nothing held back. Admirable, but mistaken.”-Bane. The Dark Knight Rises! But you can slide into the vents to save worlds more time!
52:44 " 'Pop a glycerine pill?' What is that?" Nitroglycerin relaxes the blood vessels, reducing how hard the heart has to work. It's often prescribed to patients with coronary artery disease, to be taken when chest pain starts, or just before strenuous activity. The cop says that his heart is "going like crazy."
I wish you would talk/talked to Alfred. The optional, missable conversations with him at the Batcave can be funny, and even informative, maybe not informative to the plot, but to the characters. I know you are or were rushing when you were playing this, but I am sure none of your viewers would mind if you take/took your time, especially when it comes to lore and character stuff. That's what we love most to see you react to, especially since you're new to Batman's world and lore.
Good to see your predator skills and combat skills improve! Enjoy your videos so much. Btw, Babara Gordon is Oracle/ Batgirl, who helped batman in both asylum and city in case you forgot who babara is😂
If you're interested in seeing how Batman debuted, how Gordon and him became allies, how the police in Gotham was rotten by corruption in a really good story, I highly recommend Batman: Year One by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. You'll find characters you encountered in this game like Loeb or Branden. I don't think it'll spoil anything about the story of Arkham Origins since they're quite different. You can unlock some towers. Some need gadgets you don't have yet though. Do you avoid to use instant takedowns on purpose or you just forget about them? Because I think they can be useful against enemies in armors. We're far from it but I think the DLC Cold Cold Heart is really good in exploring the backstory of one of Batman's most famous enemies. Thus I also highly recommend it. Anyway your playthroughs are really enjoyable. You got good skills, your videos are long enough and you're calm which make watching you play really relaxing. Thank you!
I thought you did pretty good without the hit warnings. Nothing wrong with making it a little more challenging. You're definitely MUCH better with the combat.
Definetely true about Batman seeming much more agressive in this one, keep in mind that this is year 2 while Asylum is year 10 so he's had a lot of growth in those 8 years
hes 47 in Arkham Asylum not 35 bro lmao how he gonna have all his history with dick being robin for 6 years then growing up and becoming night wing, Jason being kidnapped for 2 years and presumed dead, Barbra getting shot, the long halloween, Harvey turning to two-face, the events that get talked about years prior to Arkham asylum we even know that Arkham Batman was apart of the Justice League, like bro y’all weird with the “8” years thinking, that was a throw away line from death stroke that’s not cannon and makes no sense
@@richardstark1158 The problem is that you’re applying logic to a comic book timeline. No matter what you think makes the most sense, the timeline is the timeline, and you can’t just arbitrarily choose a number based on what you think is right.
Sky, i just got on and watching you play part 2 of Batman: Arkham Origins i'm a really big fan of Batman and i'm very glad that you are now on playing it this afternoon and as always you are the ultimate greatest Sky.😊 I hope you have a wonderful weekend have a beautiful 4th of July Tuesday and Thank You Sky/Skyytea.🤠 🎇🎇🎇🎆🎆🎆
Robins not Anarchy. The only Robin that's a jerk was Jason Todd/Red Hood. If you look to your right at 14:30, you'll find the name Dr. Penelope Young from Arkham Asylum. You're right that Batman is more aggressive in this game. Origins is the prequel to Asylum & City. That's why this is called Arkham Origins for a reason. Bruce has only been Batman for 2 yrs here. And You're seeing what Arkham City looked like before that section of the city was turned into a prison. Glad you're starting to go after the other GCR Towers. Fast Travel's quicker. And you get to annoy riddler. I've actually taken out all of Brandon's men at 43:18, even when they're wearing body armor. You can use the remote claw to string people up onto the vantage points. That disruptor will be handy in disarming guns. You can break Venom thugs with the takedown.
18:00 yeah this game is really showcasing why Batman is "The world's greatest detective" and super smart. I'm glad because the previous two games lightly touched on it but were more focused on the combat and acrobatics with the AR and such. Still great games though!
44:39 just before GCPD officers 👮🏻 became allies with Batman in Arkham asylum, Arkham city, and Arkham knight, they weren’t trusted Batman as a vigilante.
Maybe a funny and intesting thing to mention: the top part of the arkham origins map is basically the arkham city map. You can even see and visit familiar buildings like the church, the courthouse and, like you already recognized, the factory
hi Sky! Yeah, Batman in this one is younger and only with about 1 year of being Batman, he is way much more agressive and vindictive , thats why he is so brash and careless as well, if you noticed he has commited some crucial errors because of it. The Batman in asylum and city is much more methodical
Hello everyone! Hope you're having a good weekend! I am thoroughly impressed by how much I'm enjoying this game so far! The next episode will be out on Monday. If you enjoy, don't forget to like, comment and subscribe! Thanks for watching! ❤❤

Barbara Gordon is Jim's daughter. She becomes Batgirl and then eventually Oracle.
Havent seen you done this, but it will save you a bit of time. You can actually slide into the vents instead of opening it with your hands
Part 2 let's gooo keep up the great work Sky! Hope you're doing well!
Sky, i just got on and watching you play
part 2 of Batman: Arkham Origins i'm
a really big fan of Batman and i'm very
glad that you are now on playing it this
afternoon and as always you are the
ultimate greatest Sky.😊
I hope you have a wonderful weekend
have a beautiful 4th of July Tuesday
and Thank You Sky/Skyytea.🤠
🎇🎇🎇🎆🎆🎆
Glad to see you managed to fix the issues with the PC version.
Nice profile picture.
I've never before heard someone refer to a gang war kicking off as "talking in the street"
The thing is it hadn't kicked off yet so they were essentially just talking in the street. You can't prosecute before the crime.
I love your gameplays, was waiting for this. Cant wait to watch it
Robins not Anarchy.
The best Arkham Game in my opinion. I'm so elated that you are doing this series.
The anarchy from the animated tv series beware the Batman is so different from this anarchy
8:50 Okay, okay now that was a nice transition.
You should know there are interactive conversations with Alfred when you return to the batcave
You might have wanted the money that was in the GCPD Vent, but Batman doesn't because he's already a billionaire.
At first i want you to just jump into the Arkham Knight...glad you didn't because so far gameplay is so good!! Thanks :)
Nah Sky give yourself credit, it’s not that it’s easy, your just that Good, they wasn’t prepared
Robin didn't come along until years later after this..
hi Sky! Yeah, Batman in this one is younger and only with about 1 year of being Batman, he is way much more agressive and vindictive , thats why he is so brash and careless as well, if you noticed he has commited some crucial errors because of it. The Batman in asylum and city is much more methodical
34:59 Good catch, do you also see Wonder Tower on your right?
really enjoying the content Sky❤️
I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you for watching!
The investigation is so cool
41:55
Cops: watching a homeless person beat up.
Sky: Alfred is not wrong.
Too funny
i think when you inevitably capture anarky he has a really insightful like 10 minute monologue about society. interesting stuff.
Love your Playthroughs hope you'd give The Walking Dead a chance!
I would love to play it! Sometime in the future!
