The irony that this video is what I'm currently distracted from work by is too much. The anxiety that comes along with ADHD in the workplace can be very overwhelming, sometimes to the point of full-on panic attacks. After struggling with undiagnosed ADHD for my entire life, my partner helped seek the help I needed. On Wednesday of next week, I officially am receiving neuropsychological testing to better understand myself and possible solutions to my problem. Thank you for making this video. It's always validating to hear others' experiences with such a relatable thing for me.
Watching/listening to videos at the gym cause NOTHING can stimulate my mind enough to have peace. It's always ON. It's exhausting. I wish I could just turn it off sometimes.
I was just diagnosed at the age of 35. This has by far been the most helpful RUclips video out of the multiple dozens I’ve watched to try to learn how to adjust. Thank you.
I love this! The top 2 are my favorite "vitamin c connection" is very important especially in person connections, which we are often missing during these times.
Thank you for saying something, that's the first step to getting help. Please talk to a trusted adult that can help you and give support. For 24/7 support, call or text 988. If you or someone else is in danger, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. You are not alone!
Thank you for taking the first step and expressing your struggle. We want you to know you are not alone in how you feel. For support and resources, the NAMI National Warmline Directory is a great resource, unlike a hotline for those in immediate crisis, warmlines provide early intervention with emotional support that can prevent a crisis - and a more costly 911 call or ER visit. The lines are typically free, confidential peer-support services staffed by volunteers or paid employees who have experienced mental health conditions themselves.
