I first learned about the Superclásico through the never-been-topped COPA90 Derby Days video on it, and it got me hooked on everything football and football culture, so how amazing to see one of my favorite football YTers take a lot at it himself! Also very helpful in helping me find sides to root for in different countries lol (count me as a fan of at LEAST Celta de Vigo, Western Sydney Wanderers, FC St. Pauli, Boca Juniors, Atalanta, Trabzonspor, Shamrock Rovers, and to a slightly lesser degree Atletico Madrid thanks to those videos...almost as much as my ACTUAL big teams). Also, their Sounders/Timbers video was my first exposure to MLS fan culture and learning about how we have actual active fanbases here in the USA, and now I'm a hard-in-the-paint NYC FC supporter!

Hello as a Boca fan I wanted to explain that the reason for us not playing a first team was because we had the second leg of the semi finals of the Libertadores against Palmeiras midweek which was the priority, still always frustrating to lose el superclasico

That Gallardo statue was erected (pun 110% intended) a few months ago and it sparked a FIERCE controversy about its quality and (let's say) "ballsy" attributes. Last thing I remember is that they promised to redo the whole thing, but at this point I don't know if they will. I think the current one has its own kitsch charm.

The sculptor tried to literally pass it as her intention to portrait the guy as ballsy, comparing it to the Charging Bull statue on Wall Street. Definitely a long shot, but we do use the "having balls" expression a lot in here, so it kinda tracks.

I'm a Boca fan and I'm grateful for how you showed both a bit of Argentinian culture and the passion from our fans. I just wish our fans understood how huge we are outside of Argentina and how highly foreign fans think of us, our stadium and our club.

You should do the same in River Plate stadium the atmosphere is better there because the stadium is bigger and you can see more than 80.000 persons singing at the same time. Compare for yourself, also the pitch looks like a European one.
You should clarify that there is a possibility that the stadium could catch fire like in 2011 and that it is from the second division.
There is also no comparison between the 12 of boca and the putos of the plank.

Now come to see River Plate, it doesn't matter if it's the Superclasico or not, you're going to like it much more. The experience is better. People are different, we sing the 90 minutes with different songs.

I was in La Boca during the Superclasico but had to watch it in a bar on the streets. First Superclasico I saw there and it was the best choice I could have made. There was no time to be sad bc we all just started singing and cheering on. And the post game was still a party. That's what being a Boca fan means, en las buenas y en las malas ❤
