Me and my wife started out with $600. We were disciplined and focused on building and trading smart and small at first. $50 here and $70 there until we started earning $100 a day. From there we grew to higher numbers.
Congratulations. Starting out small and building yourself up is definitely very hard to do, but it teaches you a lot about management. I did something similar too. In my mind, if you can't handle something small, you won't be able to handle something big. Goodluck with your trades.
There's a lot of gurus out there that sell this extravagant lifestyle. I like your honesty like following price action (patterns unreliable in realtime), keeping the dayjob to keep emotional ties low, following the trading plan, and how it's a marathon. It is truly a slow process you pick up over experience and possibly some blown accounts.
It is honest answers like those that helped me decide to subscribe. I have only watched a few, but I think she will teach us how to trade properly. Not looking for riches, but a steady increase in capital and how to hedge and protect positions. Still developing my own strategy, but I really like her tactics. And I am a sucker for corny jokes.
Haha, wow! All I watch these days is HumbledTrader And ZipTrader. Thank you both for your tutelage, I appreciate you both very much!! I owe you both a great deal. Take care!
The second turning point and traders education will come when we hit a secular bear market. Currently we have been in a fiscal and monetary driven secular bull market. That will change and all these trade stations computers and screens will come on the used market cheap.
This is the very first video that I watched from your channel, but I have to say: you're the most honest person that I see regarding answering the trading questions. Honestly, IT'S A PROCESS!!! It's little by little by little by little and learning and learning and learning and learning!!! Love the fact that you're honest about that and that there is no secret sauce! It's like everything else in life. You get better and better as you practice. I've been trading for over a year and a half now and I feel that just now I'm starting to become good at it but still have a long way to go. Good luck to everyone out there and good job humbled trader!
RE: "The one thing or turning point that makes us profitable" - For most of the profitable traders I follow, it's having the discipline to follow a plan. When you do this, winners will become larger than losers on average, so over the long run, you will be profitable.
Yeah. Right. Did you notice out of 6 years she said 2 were profitable? How long did it take her to break even? People like you are so delusional and think if you follow a plan, remain objective etc, you can beat the market consistently. You can't. You may get lucky here and there, you may come out on top, but if you look at your totals and how much you currently have, and be honest with yourself, you'll realize getting a high paying job and investing smartly and getting 10% return in a basic retirement fund while playing around here and there with stocks is financially more effective.
She provided more detail on this in her interview with B The Trader. (paraphrased) “1st year, was down $10,000” (going from penny stock chat room to paid chat room looking for better and better alerts.) (was me learning how Not to trade) “2nd year, I made that money back. 3rd year was my first really green year.”
Refreshing to hear honest answers. Treat trading as a business. Do what works for you, stocks or options. Plan your trade, trade your plan. Failure is a great teacher. Nothing beats experience. Can never win, if you don't try. Have the courage to do.
I’m day trader for 15 yrs, less and less these days as I’m getting older. Can’t stomach the daily stress like before. I lost big in first year and Took me the next 4 Yrs to break even , but has been profitable since. Your trading tips are right on point, specially on price actions, trading plan and long position bias. you’re very energetic and articulate... keep those videos coming. Now I must get watching covid19 news and charts! 😩
i subscribed not only becoz u sound sincere here ( i can sense that as a 3-year "full time" home trader), but also we have the same keyboard, keep up the good work !
QUESTION: do you recommend for small accounts buying cheap stocks $5 or $10 so and try to focus in making few dollars a day to practice? then go bigger
If you are looking at such cheap stocks, I'd stick to the large market caps like F or GE. Their stock prices don't move too much providing a stable environment to practice execution on entries and exits, and they are very easy to get in and out of. AVOID low liquidity unless you want to just straight lose money.
Before she has said that she recommends paper trading first. (That is also my recommendation, I am terrible at paper trading and therefore I don't day trade yet at least. My long term investments have done excellent though.)
Thank you for being your honest self! It is truthfully refreshing given all the ads and BS we all encounter every day! Please keep being you! I certainly appreciate it!!!
"Not all Asians watch anime" hilarious Ms. Humble I love your videos and "your bad jokes" please keep up the amazing work and format don't change for the haters. Your an incredible help for brand new traders like me and I really appreciate you!!!

I’ve been looking at a bunch of RUclips videos and learning a lot. But your videos are not just super helpful but real and authentic And you crack me up woman! 😂
So.... How old are you? I just stumbled upon your channel and this is the first time I watch one of your videos and to be honest, I really like and appreciate your sincerity and honesty. Truthful answers and no bs. Thanks for the Q&A!
I really appreciated your straight forward answers. I have learned so much from your videos, as well as some bad jokes. Since you mostly trade stocks do you trade earnings? If so do you do the same research? Keep up the great work. Your suscriber growth is amazing, I saw the video where you were proud of having 1,000 followers.

I didn't care how educated someone was.. If you lack the passion you wasted your time on the education. Good stuff HT! loving your videos!
You are breath of fresh air, I've hit the like button! Can you do a video on explaining the TAXES part of day trading please. Much appreciative of what you do.
Humbled Trader yes please elaborate on taxes. I just spoke with someone who is very skeptical of Day Trading and was telling me it’s not worth it because of such high tax brackets
Great video! You are truly a humbled trader. I find you have the best videos online for understanding trading and I always look forward to seeing a notification from Humbled Trader, So I can "Hit that like button!"
I sent this to a friend who is looking to get into trading. Great general coverage of lifestyle as a trader. Love every video I've watched of yours! And we took the same career path! I was a video editor full time, renovated a condo on the side, then got into trading after selling it. Now I freelance video and music work while trading. It's a great lifestyle. Always looking to learn more and review, thank you so much for these videos! (Also, I see those AC lower 3rds, haha)
Just found your channel today.. Question: Did you create a registered business name/number with a HST number for your day trading business or how do you do this. Question 2: Do you keep your RRSP and TFSA separate to your daily trading
I’ve been enjoying all of your videos after RUclips recommend one. I’ve been investing (listed and private companies) for quite some time but never that seriously. As I’ve had time between jobs I’ve been taking it more seriously and I’ve really enjoyed it and made a decent return. I’ll be starting a new job soon but your videos have taught an old dog some new tricks and I look forward to keeping the trading going as my part time side project.
Wow, just watching a few minutes of this video tells me I'm in the right place. I've been watching ClayTrader for weeks. And lots of stuff he talks about in his course. But really doesn't answer questions. Let me rephrase that. He does show live trades that do answer many questions. So I have mixed feelings on paying $2497 one time membership to his course and inner circle versus taking more time and spending it with different traders offering free advice. For my beginning into options. That said, having someone answering our questions is where people are going to want to go, as well as refer others to this channel. Not sure how long you've been on YT but I see your subscriber rate going sky high! Thank you, Humbled Trader. A great amount of info here in this one video.
She gave a lot of good tips. Remove emotion, start small. Don't overtrade and don't pay big fees. Look at the charts and learn about candlesticks. Don't be greedy.
Hi Humbled Trader, I just came across your videos on stock trading because I am a fan of stock investing (kinda different from trading) and I always watch videos on investment. I have to say that I am really impressed by your overall career and the fact that you have multiple streams of income as you like to do many activities together. I would also like to express my gratitude to your opposing view on those "fake gurus" who sell their courses through delivering unrealistic promises, as I see many youtubers who make educational content encourage their audience to sign up and pay these expensive courses. I didn't watch a lot of your content but it seems like it is objective and instructive, but the reason I am writing is that I have noticed that you often receive many flirting/ complementing comments which greatly concerns me. When you are posting videos and giving educational-informational content, some people focus on other things instead. I have realized that female young youtubers who deliver educational content are not taken seriously by some people who pay attention to the appearance and the beauty of the person rather than carefully listening to the information that they should be interested in. And I find this very offending to all the young females. Long story short, I feel so sorry for this painful reality created by a masculine society, and I am here to tell you that I support you and every other young female youtuber who wants to influence communities by their knowledge and expertise. Stay safe, and take care. Greets from Montreal !
@Humbled Trader you're seriously so awesome! Unfortunately I live some states away and have a girlfriend 😬 Maybe one day we can all hang out in our custom color Lamborghinis 😇🚗
I’ve been a truck driver for yearszzz. From 2003 to present. I day trade from my truck. I personally would not quit my day job. I’d rather be broke then feel useless. I do make more day trading then I do at my truck business. But I enjoy being useful. Idk if I just sat around I’d probably start just slowly die.
Just heads up for people that say they don’t have time..... turn off your tv and your phone (video games) and see if you have time. Also people who are wondering how hard it is to learn how to trade. It’s like learning another language, actually learning a language, not just enough to get by. It’s a lot of work and harder than you ever think. You will have to sacrifice missing out on “fun stuff” but in the end it is well worth the pain. Great video and thanks for not making it out to be what it is not (you know what I mean). 😉👍
Really enjoyed this one, lots of good advice.. I've been trading for about three years and am addicted to it too.. Thanks for all your time and effort putting these videos together
It is wonderful to see your success exploding in front of us! Like you said, there is no secret answer that solves everything in trading. But there is one big answer to your success at RUclips, you are genuine and genuinely likeable. Your future success is almost unlimmited!! Keep it up!!
You are truly amazing!! I love all of your videos. I bet you get some pretty crazy non trading questions. You should do a video on the top five craziest non trading and the top five trading questions and dont forget to add in your awesome jokes. You really do make learning a lot easier. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.....
@@Big-Wonka in all seriousness, i find those who accept these shots fired is lacking discipline. I never took a course or been mentored. In all the videos on youtube about investing and trading, i have concluded all of these gurus small and large teach the same. I think the in-fighting stabs and jabs is on a grand scale commercial.
Just wonder who your service provider is and what kind of speed do you have. Just found and started watching your videos , love them. Nice to see someone who admits to losing money sometimes.
Whether you're buying stócks or trading, there's never been a better time to invést and make the most either on short or long term basis. Stócks are being sold at great discounts so buy as much as you can and wait for the rebound. Trade as well using the the right strategies, it would definitely boost and increase the value of your portfolio. Only the brave gets rewarded in these times!
Yeah, best time to acquire some stócks, hold on to them in the long run and sell at a higher price later. trading is a also a great addition especially considering short term basis and a steady income source.
Truth is not everyone is meant to be that "expert trader" and most people don't understand or at least pretend not to and end up losing money every time. most people will be better of off with the services of an actual expert trader.. an experienced and efficient trader who guarantees consistent profits.
Lol Julien, Thankfully I'm not, it's way to tedious of a job and there are experts in the field who have used years to master the market and have actually trading experience(because it takes years to fully master the art of trading) and have a sophisticated and unique trading strategies they work with. Things that can't be learnt by just watching a few youtube videos or practicing for a couple of weeks or month. I'm currently working one. His name is Brandon D. Lewis.I'm yet to see a more efficient and reliable trading expert. I've been working with him for a couple of years now, his strategies are superb.
Hi Henry, I'm new to tràding and also looking to purchase some stócks for lóng térm. I've been coming across a lot of positive rémarks about Brandon and I'd like to know more about him and possibly réach out to him if you don't mind.
08:11 "Learning trading means living few years of your life that most people won't, so that you can live the rest of your life that most people can't." I will learn by heart this quotation.
She never actually answered how old she is LOLOL! She just said "everybody calls me grandma cuz I sleep at 9pm bla bla bla" the end. Not that it matters for me.
are you gonna ask her for marriage too ? WHy you care how old is she ??? If she doesnt want to answer that's her choice. She s right most questions here has nothing to do with trading.
!! Just letting you know it looks like your subtitles have been high jacked, around the 1:30 mark it start going off about some hedge fund manager named kurby and how you learned everything from him and his expensive course but it's worth paying for it. I have auditory processing disorder so I always have subtitles on incase I miss hear something.
Your videos came up on my feed after watching a lot IU videos and glad it did. Really appreciate your willingness to help educate on this topic and enjoy your content. Keep it coming

I feel the same way about patterns. Everyone shows these patterns fully developed and yeah, hindsight is 2020. I would love to see someone's decision process when seeing the candlesticks trickling in and without knowing how it will all pan out in the end.

What resources were the most helpful but also cheap? I have a small account of about 400 right now. I plan to simply save and study.
Thomas how long would you say it realistically took you to get to the point where you were earning $100.00 a day in day trading?
50 - 70 with 600 total, thats 10%.. that is not small. Failure incoming.

I personally would, it's a learning experience before you go to the big money
Everything you said about that "Turning point"
is spot on. it does take time, losses, and developing your personality as a trader. Words of Wisdom.
The second turning point and traders education will come when we hit a secular bear market. Currently we have been in a fiscal and monetary driven secular bull market. That will change and all these trade stations computers and screens will come on the used market cheap.

Since you are addicted to trading, you must be making profits?
It is wonderful to see your success exploding in front of us! Like you said, there is no secret answer that solves everything in trading. But there is one big answer to your success at RUclips, you are genuine and genuinely likeable. Your future success is almost unlimmited!! Keep it up!!
14:58 This one is called: hedging her situation.
Loving the new desk arrangement!
Thank you for being transparent and honest. It's much more compelling and educational than most "gurus"
Lmao straight up legit trader. Drives a regular car, humble, multiple income streams hahaha. Good content.
I like the honest talking
Great going .i will always watch your video for your honest trading experience
8:50 shots fired at Ross lol. I love how honest you are haha
@@HumbledTraderOfficial Who's that? lol Even a bigger shot, love it.
@@HumbledTraderOfficial Just another guy pushing a $5,000 Lamborghini course lol
@@gpnulife Ok?
The only problem is that Ross is very legit.
Just wonder who your service provider is and what kind of speed do you have. Just found and started watching your videos , love them. Nice to see someone who admits to losing money sometimes.
Love your videos. Your jokes make me laugh and I'm learning a lot!
What a great video! I watch all your videos this one has so much information
IMHO this is the #1 video to watch if your thinking of trading stocks. :p
I love the value you put out. And your sense of humor is awesome.
What was the persons name that you learn from and where can I find him now
No BS, just good honest advice of a real world person. 👍🇨🇦
That's if you know what you're doing. Being disciplined enough, applying the right strategies and all that.
Instantly thought of Tim Sykes when i heard $5000 dvd 🤣
Hahahahaha
Lol Tim and his successful student bunch
I have his old stuff thats not very impressive. plus the guy is very annoying.

Very nice answers to the personal question. I like it

Love these videos, very honest about it all. And very good advice in this one. Subscribed.
Lol she totally dodged the “how old are you” question. She didn’t even answer it😂
😂🤣😂
She’s in her 30s
@@jamaalwhite6374 late 30s or early 40s
She could be 60 with 14 kids and have a wooden leg. Who cares. Just like smashing her like button!
@@creativebobbo I thought you had to call a 900 number for that kinda talk...
I appreciate your honesty . Thanks for the info
"Whats your favorite Lamborghini?" *loool*
You are very sincere and optimistic, so I start following your channel. Thank you
She never actually answered how old she is LOLOL!
@@davrocket5304 uwu
yougotservedyo no way
she said she started trading right after college and then said she’s been trading for 6 years... so you can do the math.
@@8scatterbrain8 she is in her 30s not 20s
Please refer the information re: your protege, his course etc.... Thank you, I found your channel today, watching every video...
Your videos came up on my feed after watching a lot IU videos and glad it did. Really appreciate your willingness to help educate on this topic and enjoy your content. Keep it coming
Haha I love it... "yeah I am single but I know someone who will get really piss if he heard me say it"... that was so funny... love your videos so much...
I feel the same way about patterns. Everyone shows these patterns fully developed and yeah, hindsight is 2020. I would love to see someone's decision process when seeing the candlesticks trickling in and without knowing how it will all pan out in the end.
Can you spell out your first trading mentor's name? I'd like to look him up and watch his content as well!
Debbie Wang he doesn't have any content and his IG only has 4 pictures
Quick Google search brings up people calling him out for buying followers and posting his own testimonials.
nicely explained ! will share with my team people also!

Day Trading is indeed like poker. It's a zero sum game, for every dollar someone wins someone has to lose a dollar.
Thank you for enjoying and sharing your skill, passion, and bad jokes!
Im starting to love this channel for the jokes!
