    Thanks for this one! I'm not a particularly proud American, but am a proud American James Acaster fan. It was love at first sight after an episode of Mock the Week several years ago. Lots of love to you both from little ol' Knoxville, Tennessee.

    At 30 minutes this is what genius looks like. Clearly he's in a huge amount of pain, but he's made that into a comedic event for us. I love James but I dearly care for him and I hope it doesn't end too early

      Yeah, you must have been really confident. I mean, it's not like there's any way of taking back that like once it's been hit, and imagine the dire consequences for you if he'd had an off day, and your preemptive like had been undeserved after all.... it doesn't bear thinking about.

    This was a great one. I love it when guests are comfortable right out of the gate. Also Rich, for what it's worth, I'd watch you on panel shows and other bits and pieces. Admittedly it'd be on RUclips because I don't have a British VPN, but still...

    So weird watching the Netflix stuff (especially the first) now; knowing what he was going through. Poor lad!

      Lou Sanders, Joe Thomas, Sian Gibson, Paul Sinha and Iain Stirling. A good mix of comics and comic actors. But I agree Rich really should be on it by now! At least Lou Sanders is going to bring absolute vulgarity and chaos to the proceedings which I cannot wait to see play out

    There are dozens of youtube videos on how Passengers could have been a good film, but the easiest solution is literally just to move Act 1. If the audience remains ignorant, yet suspicious of Pratt’s betrayal, it’s such a better story.

    44:20 I think many more people lose faith in religion than admit to it. That's understandable. Admitting in, say, middle age, that you've believed all that old biblical guff all your life and have been praying to some all-seeing, all-knowing, all-powerful figment of someone's imagination for years and years is very close to admitting you're an idiot. People don't like doing that. The pope also knows it''s a load of nonsense, but he's got a vested (and vestmented) interest in pretending otherwise.

    I don't understand, Richard, everyone has a fetish! Well, most people, with the exception of possibly a few asexuals and others, I'm not an expert by any means. But what makes your adrenaline rush, what gives you a powerful...ending? There must be something that is your get-off go-to...that is your fetish. Fetishes dont have to be obscene or obscure, which is subjective anyway, it's just the thing or things that really, really excite you.
