@@slipensnowboard I bought the Portrait CD when it came out in 87 and I still have it. I have always loved both Rit and the Jackets, so this tune is a gimme. Watching you play it made me remember several fond memories. I was dating a really, really hot girl who was really, really mean and shitty. I was just getting into my career, and I went to the gem regions of Thailand for 3 months on a buying trip and came back with sapphires out the ying yang. Great stuff, and again, very nice work!!
Thanks for the compliment mate, really appreciate it. For this cover the multi effects i used is a Vox Tonelab ST with a custom preset, plugged into a Tech 21 Power Engine 60, a Shure SM57 mic plugged into a Roland Quad Capture sound card, and recorded with Garage Band 6 on a 2013 MacBook Pro
Ignore the wardrobe, bend people! Been listening to and trying to cop Rit tunes for decades and this is a great song. Very well done. Miss his electric days with Eric Tagg on vocals. Mr. Briefcase was always a favorite solo, do you play that one?
Didn't know this tune, i just listened to it few minutes ago. I think i'll give it a try when i'll have some time. Nice solo ! Thanks for the comment btw ;)
Thanks mate :) I used a Tonelab ST with custom preset, a Tech 21 PE60, a Shure SM57 mic plugged into a Roland Quad Capture audio interface. Recorded with Garage Band
Awesome... It's probably the best neck I've ever played for shred stuff on the fg100.
Great lydian smoothness man! 10/10 and I love your flavoursome vibrato ! Keep up the great fusion !
Wow that really sounds like Frank Gambale’s tone!
Awesome guitar and tone.
Wow, just wow
wanted this color so bad. had to settle for the neon yellow but i still love it
The neon yellow was the one i wanted, but never found it !
Very nice work.
Thank you :)
