Cracked a slide on my first 35 around 02. Figure it was near 75k. My 2011 in 9 and 40 are both north of 60k and 100k. Broke the bushing on the 40 at over 95k. Replaced the barrel shortly after that. /the action was replaced around 35k. Broke the rear sight pin a couple times. Broke the plastic grip after a couple seasons. My current 34 is around 40k. It’s the main gun for teaching. Only things that have broken are Zev triggers in it. I was really not impressed with the parts.
I thought my old P320 XCompact was a smooth shooter. Took my Glock 19 Gen 5 through a 200 round session to see how it fired. No recoil at all, especially with S&B 115-grain. Can’t wait to get it cut for the ACRO I have waiting! I’m a Glock fanboy now for sure!
Just a guess, but I dislike most 9mm handguns. They just feel snappy. The Gen 5 Glocks, feel soooo much better. And I think it has to do with the double recoil spring setup.
I was issued a Glock 22 in 1996 (the serial number is My badge number). After 25 years in SWAT I was presented my pistol at Retirement. I would estimate the Pistol has 100.000+ rounds through it. Like yours it has had a lot of new parts over the years. I stopped carrying Glocks when I retired, never like the grip angle! These day's I only carry Sig's!
Jesus always one of you weirdos. It was caused by the original thick 320 trigger which has sense been fixed. Have had a 320 legion in my rotation for almost 2 years now and have never had any problems out of it. @@IchigoTheQuincy
Just hit the point where I shot my barrel to shit my g17 gen 5 mos (had it since release) just got a factory gen 5 barrel in the mail and my main bitch is back in action. 😎 Glock will always be amazing in my eyes.
I only own Glocks but those Caniks and Walthers appear to be better pistols. Trigger, undercut, sights etc. However, I own too many Glock magazines so I’m stuck with that brand for the time being.
Did you noticed that 98% of gun manufacturers using Glock platform? Do you know how many lawsuits Glock filed in the last 35 years? Lots of them! Glock-it is like AK-47 dependability in the pistols domain!!! New-fancy looking guns got NOTHING on Glock!!!!
It’s kinda cool hearing where you guys where at in your story round the time I came around I only made it to a couple competitions trying to run my g19 I was having the time of my life then covid messed me up I’ve been itching to come back around and give it another go 😂
36k rounds in my staccato p I have had zero failures! I have a staccato xc that failed after 400 rounds due to the extractor flattening out. However the xc is ten times the fun the p is. That being said both are amazing. And I have a c2 but no longer Carry it. I have a canik and I blew the barrel out after 2k rounds! I will never trust a canik ever again.
@@synergytraininggroup yea me and my gf were taking it to the range for her to practice and use as her carry gun! Gave her my c2 to carry. I’m not the only one with a bad experience that I know either. The gun shot great it was accurate but for the barrel to blow out after 2000 rounds they have some serious qc issues. Way to dangerous and sketchy for someone to carry in my opinion. Also scared the living shit out of me when it happened.
broke a striker on my canik mete. certain batch runs didnt properly heat treat the strikers and they were snapping at the head. never will own another canik.
If springs are good, then yeah, man, not a problem. If it checks out no cracks and shit than why not it's steel, so that's actually pretty low if you want to see ware or problems with a glock .
I believe it. Have at times shot 500 rounds a week for months. It adds up quick!
It really does

Yea .40’s are rough on parts. That’s why they thickened the slides on gen 5 .40’s

There’s beauty and reliability in their simplicity

Psss let me tell you a secret. Canik's have walther triggers🤯

I still don’t trust canik enough to carry em. Just range/comp use.

Well I mean I have a 20,000+ Sig P320 but I've only replaced 90% of the gun...I wonder if that counts
Hey man, at the very least, it’s a learning experience
6k in a shadow systems dr920 I carried for a year last year. Onto a 17.5 this year. Looking to break 10k this year
Sold both of mine. I fell in love with the aesthetics instead of the actual reliability of the pistol. Nothing but problems for me. So back to Glock
What was the name of the company that did the framework? I couldn’t make it out.
Hot iron Gunworks
I have X5 LEGION with 10k or so .
The Caniks are amazing!!!
Idk about yours, but mine goes brrrrrt 😎
I have several M&Ps over 30k and a few Caniks around that count
I can’t wait for a steel framed 2.0
@@synergytraininggroup you run the M&P 2.0 metal (aluminum frame) yet?
I haven’t. It honestly doesn’t interest me. I do love the regular 2.0’s tho.
