I'm an ENFJ and my boyfriend is an INTP, and our relationship is awesome! We grow a lot together, have very crazy, deep, imaginative and fun conversations. I'm very attracted to the INTP's way of thinking, because it's so unique and curious. I'm always discovering new things about him and it never stops being interesting. Although people see INTPs as cold or "antisocial", he can be very caring and gentle, gives his best at everything, and this is very attractive to me. From time to time, he needs some space and time alone and I totally respect and understand it. At the beginning, we were kind of confused about some points of our personalities, but with time, we figured ourselves out and now we understand each other's needs. That what makes it special. I would describe ENFJ-INTP relationship as a very stimulating, sharing and deep relationship, that allows growth and learning. Because we differ so much, we are constantly learning about multiple universes, fields and ourselves. Thanks for your insights, really enjoy your videos!
Oh thank you so much! I really enjoyed reading all about you and your boyfriend’s relationship. It sounds like the two of you have found someone really special. I really like that combination of types. I agree with you. It can work really really well and I’m glad you are enjoying each other. P.S. I think you said such sweet things about him. I’m hoping he can accidentally read what you wrote. Ha ha
As an INTP, I can second your comment, I feel like I can talk days straight if we we didn’t need sleep. I wanting more and more of my ENFJ. It’s so fun yet so deep.
Don’t know about romantic INTP-ENFJ relationships but have seen them working together really well. It’s a growth relationship where the ENFJ is coaching the INTP to communicate better their great ideas to the tribe and the INTP helps the ENFJ to get back on their feet with bringing structure to the turbulent waves in the ENFJ mind into the calm waters of the INTP logical thoughts. ENFJ’s can also see the talent in the INTP’s and help them to change from a raw diamond into a shiny stone. Many INTP’s need coaching in life because most only judge them from the outside and don’t recognize their strengths.
ESTP Baaf Gosh there are so many deeply intelligent 🤓 people on here! It’s so refreshing to get a different point of view that makes so much sense. So poetic! When are you writing ✍️ the book 📖-I’m ready to read it. Lol
Yes yes yes ! ENFJs make it easy to expression emotions because they use their feelings as strengths. Therefore I don’t feel the need to compete for “who’s the least emotional rn” and I don’t feel threatened to express emotions.
I’m enfj and my best friend is an intp. I encourage him to talk to me about all of his scientific findings and to talk to me about the emotional experiences he wouldn’t share with other people. I’m really interested in how he understands the world and puts things together very well.
Interesting. I would have thought the INTP would have found the ENFJ overbearing and bossy, esp the school principal type. Also, I’d think the INTP lack of social skills would be a challenge for the often public-facing ENFJ. But this is an interesting perspective.
INTPs actually do well with assertive partners... their most compatible pairings tend to be ENxJs! And we all know ENxJs can be SUPER bossy. They also pair well with ESFPs and INxJs :) This is according to socionics and certain MBTI practitioners.

Meredith Dillman I like how you said ENFJs use their emotions as strength. I have never thought of it that way. Thanks for sharing!
It’s their pedagog relationship. They are each other’s teachers.

Could you do a relationship of two ENFJs?
Angie Burdine Yes I will. It may take me a couple months but stay tuned 😊
How about an enfj-a/Enjf-t and an infj relationship?!?!
Sandra D Sure I will. I’ll add it to my to do list. It may take me a couple months but stay tuned 😃
That would be terrible.

S Lines Thanks for sharing your perspective with me too! I think 🤔 all of what you said could be true in some cases.
