YEESH are you kidding me?? The quality of this tutorial is *incredible* - not rushed and not drawn out, dropping helpful little shortcuts here and there without treating your viewers like it's their first time in Photoshop - absolutely brilliant. Thank you, keep doing what you do!
Wow that's really cool to hear... It's a bit of guesswork figuring how how fast or slow to go, what level of skills to assume, etc... but glad to hear that feedback!
@@Texturelabs i find myself struggling more than once with all the masking, clipping masks and so on and the way you can apply these techniques especially when you combine them. Maybe you could do a tutorial on that? I also have to pay close attention when you're talking about the option and command key as I'm a Windows user and nowadays that's basically the biggest difference between the Mac and Windows versions of Photoshop and illustrator.
This the fourth video of yours I’ve watched. Each one has been amazing. I’ve used Photoshop for 25 years and am blown away by how much you’re teaching me.
This may be hands down the greatest Photoshop text tutorial on the internet. Such a cool result with minimal confusion, and the entire delivery was perfectly smooth and professional. Thanks so much!
men who teach you all this techniques? are you from this planet? did you learn by your self ? amazing every single video great job.. and thank you so much.
I cannot thank you enough for this video tutorial! I'm study graphic design as a beginner and, even if English is not my first language, I do appreciate the crystal clear clarity of the instructions, not going back and forth, explaining the why's and helping me to realise a project I could not find instruction for. Just subscribed to your channel, you are the best instructor ever.
i agree ... i am truthfully impressed! I've also been using photoshop for over 20yrs. I like to check tutorials every now and then just to be sure I'm not falling back on any important features or tips ... and usually, I find one or two points I think "ah nice ... clever ... " ... However ... never have i been so impressed by all the tricks and tips. So many parameters and use of filters that I never thought about ... really impressive! Great job please keep em coming ... I've seen 3 in a row and just filled pages of notes
I've been using Photoshop since 1995 & your tutorials are a revelation. Also the kind of effects you're doing very much applies to the style of work I do. Which is mostly horror film packaging & 1 sheets. Great stuff!
Your tutorials are so good. They are not pablum for the masses. They are quality, and I think RUclips wants these kind of quality, original videos to rise to the top. So I am upvoting all your videos.
This is the greatest Photoshop video I have ever seen on RUclips. It is absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for putting out these incredible tutorials.
I have only just subbed to this channel and I am binge-watching all the tuts. Liking them all, but this one is particularly intricate and beautifully made. Loving it. Thank you.
That's really cool to hear... ya lately I've made em a little more trimmed down, focusing on one thing... But looking forward to making a few more like this. Thanks!
This is a beast of a job.I was about 20% in when I screwed up and had to start all over again... This was like putting together a 10-drawer IKEA dresser - you mess up one thing 4 hours in, and have to start all over again. lol But wow -- the end results -- crazy effing good. I could never instinctually make this happen.
Time to update my resume to say I have "some" knowledge of Photoshop. 😅 All jokes aside, I love learning these new techniques. Lots of new or updated features over the past few years have made far more things possible in Photoshop. Subbed! :)
Great, straightforward tutorial. The only things that looked off were the top corners of the N, where the extruded effect didn't quite work. I don't know how you could fix this, but besides that, everything looks very well done. I'm looking forward to watching more of your tutorials! Thanks!
Probably the best approach would be to go in with an extra pixel layer clipped to the extrusion, and hand paint over the bevel, although you might run into trouble with overlaying different blending modes. Another trick would be to rasterise the layer effects - although you might need to rasterise the shadows and highlights separately both from each other and the texture to preserve the blend modes - and then manually paint in the shadows while removing the highlights from the offending areas. Bit of a kludge, but it should work.
im not even finished watching this video i need to say you are great (and every other person behind texturelab) great videos great tecnhiques great RESULTS great explanation thanks so much
Thank you and you are right about the 3D. I worked with it for years and it ran horribly. But now it doesn't matter because once again Adobe has shown how they take care of their customers. they removed it. Didn't lower the price any. Blender is terrific. But back to your tuts; they are excellent!
Definitely one of the most knowledgable Photoshop masters. I’m so jealous of the new Photoshop ( I am retired now and stuck with PS CS6 ) this used to take me hours to do back in the 90s with PS 2.0 😁
you should put the ''if you haven't noticed i like to use a lot of photoshop tools for purposes they weren't necessarily originally intended for'' and they somehow work very well in your description
Another great tutorial! I always wonder how one could possibly come up with all those tricks which really refine the image... I sit and watch in awe, actually.
That's very cool to hear. At the first studio I worked at, there was an awesome senior artist that let me go through all of his files and deconstruct... saved my butt!
The top shadow of the I and N is really irking me, but I love the effect! As per other comments, used PSD for longer than I care to remember, and I feel like a novice, watching these
Cool, that's something I've been meaning to take a crack at... gonna be tough to beat some of the Illustrator techniques out there, but making a mental note!
@@Texturelabs Yes, I have looked into this extensively and would love to see your take on it. It's a tough nut to crack, even with both Illustrator and Photoshop
Your work is amazing! And your didatic (is this a word? I'm Brazilian, haha, hope you understand) is so so good, fluid and very easy to comprehend. Thank you so much!
I loved the tutorial when I found it. I made one similar in Spanish and I made some references in my video and description forwarding people to yours. Thanks a lot for the tutorial and over all work. Saludos
Holy shit these tutorials are like reaally really like reaaaally really well made! Gotta try this out sometime... I wish Photoshop would introduce a simple to use extrusion tool that isnt 3d but works better than completely faking it or having to copy the text 50 times each offset by a pixel
Thanks for this, It was a lot of fun. As others have commented, the pace was great. I'm novice at best and I almost kept up. My example wasn't quite as nice likely because I went rouge on the font. I'm going to try from memory, with your selected font.

I wholeheartedly agree. The attention to detail is superb.
It's crazy how easy it is to get off track, even following closely and pausing, and doing it a step at a time.

15 years of experience here and i’m equally blown away!!!
Another 25+ years using Photoshop here and still learning from amazing tutorials - and teachers - like this. Incredible, thank you : )

The BEST stone carving tutorial in Photoshop I've ever seen.
It looks 3D, fake 3D.
Congratulations and keep on.
That's cool of you to say! I've been finally embracing the actual 3d tools a bit more recently, but I find the fake 3d to be more fun. Thanks!

I was going to say the same thing. It kind of exposes the bevel effect that was applied. Otherwise an awesome tutorial.
The best photoshop channel that i ever seen.

I'm really enjoying your tutorials. Many tutorials are way too fast and it's easy to get lost. I can't wait to incorporate your techniques. thank you!

Right?! That's such a good idea for an easy tool they could put in there.
very nice. thing missing is some displacement/noise in the shadows and that bouncy light.
