@@slobert1970 Shweet! I should be starting my adventure the middle of June. Heading for Montana / Idaho, then will meander to southern AZ late fall. Maybe see you out in the wilderness! I put a short vid of my ride on my channel, just click my avatar, only two vids there.
I haven't been to BRD since around 96. Camped up behind and at the base of BR. Leadville is a great place to go. I've always wanted to go back with a metal detector and search around Hardin City! the one trail down the wash looked like fun. Thanks for the video!
Australia! you guys have an incredible outback to explore. but American TV would have me beleive everything there is posionous and trying to kill you. If I win the lottery, I'm going to ship my jeep down under and see for myself!
@@slobert1970 just come over and buy one here it will be cheaper and you need a right hand drive. You will love it. There are some awesome tracks that run sometimes for 1800 kms. When you come to Townsville or anywhere up North you will have to watch out for saltwater crocodiles and anywhere in Australia there are snakes but if you leave them alone they usually leave you alone. If you come over give me a call and I will show you around. It is really an awesome country.
In South Africa on the game farm we had similar traffic jams except they were rhino, elephant or giraffe. With the rhino and elephant you were very respectful and did not blow your horn at them or you may find one of them doing a tap dance on your forehead with you in your car
glad you enjoyed! no, i dont' run beadlocks. on this trip I ran about 12 psi but at moab I run around 10 psi. I run narrow rims, which I think helps keep the tire on the bead better. i have never lost a bead.
@slobert1970 yah I was up there 2 years ago for an antelope hunt camped at the reservoir and fished in the evenings, some of those roads get gnarly my dad destroyed his tacoma up there, 2 flat tires and ripped both running boards off trying to use em as rock sliders
its not really one trail per say, we traveled dozens of differnt roads and trails in northern nevada. a good map app and or atlas will get you pointed towards endless exploring in nevada.
Off roading videos of central to northern Nevada are more rare than seeing a Wolverine. Thanks for filming.
I'll be heading out in 2 weeks for another trip. hope to have a video up soon after. glad you enjoy!

Great scenery, love the 2 door Jeep. Thanks for sharing, cheers
Glad you enjoyed! I'll be hitting the desert again in 2 weeks, can't wait.

Very cool jeep. i love how simple it is. Shows you dont need a million dollars to explore.
This is real off roading.
That is an awesome area thank you for posting this and taking us along with you and your family. Regards from Townsville Australia

Thanks so much for your video. I use to go around Carson Sink outside Fallon exploring. Just a great video.
You bet. Glad you enjoyed! I cannot describe how much I love Northern Nevada. The stark beauty and solitude are breath taking.
Always enjoy the videos. 👍👍

I bet you have some great stories! Glad you enjoyed my video. Wheel on!
Awesome. Good people. 👍
I do suggest bringing a chain saw and an axe for wood...there was a Keurig and a fridge, so plenty of room 🙂.
I added an electric chainsaw to the equipment, and I always have an axe.
Very cool 👍🏽. Were any of you running beadlocks. ?

I think I recognize a couple of those creek crossings, is that up by wall canyon reservoir?
I've never heard of wall creek reservoir, but that doesn't mean it's not near there. I'll check my maps.
A little east of there but that's the corner of Nevada I was in. Beautiful country

Just trying to figure out general area. Like what lake bed is that?
Oh sure, general area is black rock desert
How do we get to this trail?
