@Gaming Audio Guide As usual, an outstanding review. You can really see how Beyerdynamic have nailed this studio monitor pair of cans. I predict it will become a icon among the pros. As for gaming, I have to see for myself. Yes the footsteps and imaging are there, but without a pleasant sounding bass, the games will sound empty. I, personally, need the bass-filled explosions to go along with the footsteps and imaging. Thank you again for a informative review.

Great review! Earned a subscriber. You touched on some good points that other reviews haven't. Great attention to detail. My research has led me to choose between the HarmonicDyne Zeus and the DT 900 Pro X. My main concerns are gaming, watching RUclips, movies, and listening to music. Based on the reviews I've seen, the DT 900 Pro X has better imaging, while HarmonicDyne Zeus is more "fun" to listen to. I will probably go with the 900 as it is cheaper where I am currently.

Greatest review of these cans I've seen on RUclips. I especially enjoyed your thorough comparisons of all these Beyers with one another.
In fact, your review and comparisons were so good that made me immediately subscribe to the channel. My only gripe is that this video, from a year ago, is also your last video. Man, you'd be one of my top favorites if you start reviewing headphones, and audio gear in general. Based on only this video, I place you higher than a lot of these audiophile channels. Please, give a thought and come back strong. At the end, I hope that nothing serious is the reason for your absence and you're in good health.
For a recommendation, it would be great if you could review the new Beyer DT 770 Pro X Limited and compare it to all these other Beyers, especially to the DT 900 Pro X.

Keep going man ;-) IMO the DT 990 pro 250ohm with external audio card like Sound blaster G3 is really a best bang for the buck ( Bought this set from after seeing your review ;-) ) A lot of people are just converting from those "gaming, wierd looking" headsets to pro type headphones and it is great. Tech/Audio interested people appreciate your effort that you put to make videos like this ;-) Cheers Man

This headphone has the best quality/price ratio I have ever seen.
The another one with great Q/P is the K702.
900X has better overall response in the whole spectrum. It has the more dynamic sound.
K702 has the better soundscape. It is possible to forget that you listening to a headphone.
BOTH has huge ear-space, and both has the same mini-xlr connectors, therefore their cables are interchangeable
On a low budget I would suggest to someone to buy these two, and they can cover 99% of the use cases.

You have great videos man. I am cross comparing the 900 Pro X and 1990. I have to admit, I love the way the 1990 looks and I have heard it packs a nice bass slam and punch which really intrigues me. I already have DT 770 and have not really struggled with the highs so for an all in one what do you think? I don't want multiple heads but need something good for competitive gaming and good music. The $500 for the 1990 is steep but I've already purchased Edition XS and will probably be returning it. Sound stage is too open for me and I feel voices are just too far away from my head when I watch RUclips and listen to music... I just keep turning up the volume and they're physically awkward to wear all day.
Already have entry Schiit stack so I think I'm good there.
