The "Ball" lightshow was more entertaining and wondrous than their new fireworks show. The moment you see the Spaceship Earth lit up you can't help but wonder. Why wasn't it lit up like this ten years ago. It is an awesome effect.
I know it....I thought of that idea 10 years or 15 years ago, that the imagineers should place a lighting show onto the sphere.
I totally agree with you Orlando. To be honest I saw the new Disney World Shangai fireworks and they are out of this world. Best show I have ever seen Disney do
I agree! It's just so simple and serene :) I also liked harmonious tbh, but world showcase is a classic, and so is hea. I have no idea why they have substituted them :(

I agree. And it steals the show from their million dollar oil ride monstrosity show out in the lake. We were there last night and it was packed to full capacity and the lightshow on spaceship earth was dazzling everyone. And it is special no matter where in the park you are.

This is more like a beacon of technology in my opinion, and it's absolutely beautiful! It encapsulates the idea of this prototype city of the future that Walt wanted for Epcot. I know it's supposed to be a "beacon of magic" but technology seems more interesting to me and it fits Epcot and Spaceship Earth better than just magic.
This is incredible! Disney got this one right!! Way better than either of the new fireworks!

It's a nice tie in to Harmonious, showing the world in silhouette. The music is pretty good too, but could be a bit more rousing towards the end. I hope they do more shows based on the season too.
It actually ties to Illumniations which used to project the world on Spaceship Earth.
