So I used your wrapping for a staff and it was extremely easy to get into a Grove and thank you for showing the wrapping it is a strong wrap and looks great on the staff 👍
I remember playing with parachute cord when I was a teenager (long, long time ago..lol). At that time all cord was either white or dark green and only available from surplus military supply stores. My question is.... on your project did you remove the inner strands and just use the outer sheath for your wrap or did you use it as is? I haven't watched your other video yet on how to end the wrap.
I genuinely do not understand this at this. I cannot comprehend how you make the first “knot” on the wheel. It’s not a not and it keeps moving. It doesn’t work.
Love the look and how simple this was to follow! Wish you’d shown how you finished it though!
how did you tie off the end?
Dude you had me lost on the first knot lol
This is my favorite wrap. It's so fast and easy and you don't have to deal with a million tangles.

First off Ryan thank You so much .I wrapped my stearing wheel in one continuous cord it turned out took me longer. but it looks good !!
how do you finish once you've reached the end of whatever you're wrapping?
So it’s basically a chain sinnet around a bight, gnarly
In working with cordagethe tag end is called the standing part and the long end is the working part.

Nice work I really like this
Good video. But would have helped to see the last step tying it off or melting into place so it stays on the wheel.
Is 50 foot of paracord too short?
You should’ve shown how you finished the braid and don’t go so fast how to tie the knot some people just don’t really know!
Thanks man! Took way longer than 30 minutes tho hahaha
cool idea
