Long time watcher, rookie paracordist/weaver. I love this wrap, turned out beautiful. And that diamond knot tutorial was the best and easiest to follow I’ve ever seen.
I just ordered my first ESEE and I got the original Izula despite wanting the 2. I love how you did this wrap. If I’m not mistaken it’s identical to a katana wrap but I could be wrong. I couldn’t get the micarta scales so I have to do a paracord wrap. Thank you 🙏🏼 great video.
Yea Tim. Please do more of these and maybe other handled tools. Thanks for your great videos too
Will do!
This one is very easy to make and looks prettier than others I've seen
Fantastic video! Would love to see more knives handles out of Paracord!
I like this wrap the best because it has a "palm swell" on either side without being loose.
I love your videos you have inspired me to start doing paracord projects thanks sooooooo muchhh!!!!!
You are so welcome!
@@TheWeaversofEternity 🙏❤️
I picked up this exact same knife. Beautiful knife and great work like always.
I started getting into Paracord wrapping because I picked up a fixed blade I fell in love with. I carry a White River M1 Backpacker. Would love to see some other knife wrap ideas for this blade. Thanks for the great content.
That's great to hear and you're welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting!
So freaking close to 50k man
Have you ever made a big dream catcher made out of paracord and mix with micro cord
I have made a wall hanging macrame with paracord and yarn. And it came out amazing. Lots of my friends thought it was a dream catcher. I've also figured out how to create letters and numbers with a 8x8 grid of paracord using the dhhk(double half hitch knot)which is a staple and common to most macrame projects
I would like to ask if I could see your collection of the things you've made with the paracord ,thanks
I think this wrap will give a good look to my light saber.
exactly how im gonna do mine! thanks for the vid my brother
Você usou em média quantos metros de paracord nesse serviço ?
Achei muito interessante o transado!
Fine!👍
Wow that looks so cool!
That was good...loved the craftsmanship
I'd like to know where I could find some beads with the two holes like that. They don't have to be bane or the typical skulls and what not, just beads that were made for this sort of paracord wrapping
This was a great video and fun to watch although I personally prefer tutorials and projects that doesn't include very specific materials that most people don't have (like this knife)
Thanks and I understand what you mean. This video definitely is more for people who have this knife or any knife they want to wrap in paracord. This handle wrap technique though can be applied to other tools like axes, hammers, or walking sticks. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and enjoy the video for what it is though and thank you for commenting!
So buy an Izula, $60 everyone should have one 👍
To date this is my fav wrap for a handle. Uuh..... But what's the bracelet you're wearing during the intro and outro?? That looks SICK!! 😳
Thanks and that's the Conquistador Cuff, video here ▶ ruclips.net/video/3uqJOX5x-Qw/видео.html
@@TheWeaversofEternity Outstanding!! Thank You Sir!!
How do you do it with the loops inside the handle?
Plz do more stuff like this
Nice job 👍
Nice
i love your content
Took the baby yoda keychain and used it to make a dark blue and light blue stitch. Same basic pattern with the light blue slipped in for his tummy.
Is there a wrapping style you'd recommend for the Ka-Bar Becker BK2?
I personally love the 360 strider wrap only because it fills the hand really nice. Its usually the only wrap I will do on my fix blades
Yep, more of these, plz. 😉
I managed to make the diamond knot after like 4 tries😅
Would you be willing to do a wrap tutorial for the CRKT Minimalist?
I actually have a CRKT Minimalist, so it's definitely something I'll consider for the future.
Very cool.👍
trying to come up with a good wrap for a rifle sling pad. RIght now it's a 1" nylon strap. Any ideas ?
Begleri carrying thing?
where can we get the beads? thanks for all the help. Made so much stuff recently!
Superb video my Friend 🤝🔔👍🙏
Thank you! Cheers!
Great instruction, very descent video. One question though, Why do you call it a Stryder knife, or strider style wrap? I realize Stryder uses this pattern, but the pattern has been around for 4 decades. (That. know of.) One version uses a single strand. When in the field, after tucking the lanyard under one loop it will than It will unravel with one pull of the snake knot.
I could be wrong but I believe that this pattern has actually been around for a couple millennia or several centuries at the very least. It’s the same way that the Japanese sword makers tie their lace over the manta ray skin on katanas and the like.
Nice!
This wrap is very beautiful though is there a way I can achieve the same look and style but with a "butterfly knife" or perhaps a bracelet?
I don't think you 'd be able to do it on a butterfly knife simply due to how a balisong works. As for a bracelet, you could try doing this pattern over a 4 strand core, but I'm not sure how it would turn out. It might not look the same because the knife handle is rigid and a bracelet core is flexible and soft.
@@TheWeaversofEternity alright I'll try tysm much for the help I'll try making the bracelet right away!
Where do you get the beads from ?
I read that as esee azula
Cool🔥😍👍
I'm sure you could wrap liquid if you tried!
Have you ever done a shepard's sling tutorial?
Hey there, yes I have: ruclips.net/video/1DmWKwy_Ndw/видео.html
@@TheWeaversofEternity thanks!
Hey guys! Just a quick question for anybody that owns this knife, does it come with the kydex sheath?
Yes, it does come with the kydex sheath. However, some may not come with the micarta handle scales. The price usually reflects that.
@@TheWeaversofEternity Thank you, brother!
Neither the izula or izula 2 like the one in the video come with a kydex sheath. Its a thermoplastic sheath. It really is a good stock sheath though.
Thickness of paracords you used?
550 paracord (4 mm)
Do you sharpen your own knives? If so what system do you use?
Skilet knife xmmmmm
Heads up to anyone, that seems to be an Izula II which has a half inch longer handle than the Izula.
