Great job! As a Grandmother of 10 I find I keep “children” dishes, cups & silverware but forget to discard as the age out. If I see another sippy cup it will be too soon………..
I'm older, single and moving to an efficiency apartment in my building. So I'm down sizing once again. And I really don't mind. I figured if I haven't used it in a year, it needs to be re-homed. Lol Thanks for the tour!

I have those magnetic cupboard locks in our kitchen, it keeps little hands from the cleaning fluids and medicine cabinet. Our son has never tried to open the cabinets and he is 6 now, but I feel safer knowing they are in place.

You have a beautiful kitchen, and as my goal for 2024 is to work on improving my home, seeing how you keep your home organized and decluttered is inspiring to me! I live in a small, 1920s Craftsman-style home. Our kitchen is dated (looks like something from the 1970s/80s). Even though my home is even older than that, I dream that someday my kitchen will get redone. We will see! In any case, I am going to start with reorganizing and decluttering. (Also, your dress is beautiful!).

ive become a rather minimalist too! we moved from our house in cali to a house in a gorgeous area in oregon but had to quite downsize for the incredible view and the land we now have, that being said our kitchen went from a size of yours to verrry small yet operable...we made it that way...simplify, keep the things you use, donate things we could no longer fit or was just being used like 1 or 2x a year etc...its been quite eye opening yet theres a sense of ...ahhhhh....innterstingly i also must cook way more as we have no restaurants that are local nor is there any delivery of any sort( we live far out into the country)...for hanukah i got myself 2 new knives and thats it as my space in the 1 designated drawer is so limited...its funny how we begin to think of space....Love your videos!

Wonderful video to get us motivated to declutter and reorganize our kitchens. I would suggest something other than paper coffee cups for guests. I can understand not wanting to use your family's favorite mugs, but a set of four mugs by Corelle or other everyday brand should be easy to find at a reasonable price.

I'm always decluttering! (2024 is going to be a low / no buy year for me!) I'm making another pass through my house gathering items to declutter / donate! I'm loving the minimal look! I need less inventory for my ADD brain to process!

Please come to NY and do my house! Lol but seriously! I got my first caraway pan and used it for the first time today and love it so much! Wish I could get rid of more but I feel like I use every one of my 12 pots and pans weekly or at least monthly

I TOOK DOWN ALL MY WOOD CABINETS AND PUT UP SHELFS. CA HAS LOTS OF FIRES SO I RID MY HOME OF WOOD IN FAVOR OF METAL CABINETS AND SHELVES.

Me neither. A waste of paper cups that is unnecessary, and it feels a little unwelcoming. I would rather they use a personal mug of mine that is a memory for me. I feel like it is more of a welcome and please stay kind of feeling.

In Europe serving coffee or tea to guests in paper cups would be considered, well, very rude.
Just found your channel ans was wondering whether your kitchen is kosher? I don't notice 2-3-4 sets of everything kitchen that you usually find in kosher homes in the US., which is like the opposite of minimalism.Thanks
Sorry but I think disposable cups are a bit weird😬 Like you are grossed out by your own guests and don’t want them drinking from your own cups. Some might find it offensive. I’d just go with a small neutral glass set specially for guests.
One interesting point about disposable cups if they fall they don’t break. When I was married, we had an interesting collection of mugs, and and told them not to worry about it when one broke.
I don't see how this is rude. I'd say practical
When I go to a clients home to do her Vitamin Infusions, she makes me a coffee in a disposable cup. She also gives me a lid so I can have the coffee to go to give to the next client. I like that idea. But yes...if they are there to have lunch or dinner, glassware is more appropriate.
