@@NaughtiusMaximmus to be fair I don’t think there is many surviving radio commercials that would’ve been playing on December 7, 1941 before a breaking news bulletin about Pearl Harbor.
there was another youtube video where someone was channel flipping on 9/11 while the news was unfolding and MTV was literally playing Drowning Pool - Bodies 💀
Probably. I was 15 at the time, my mom and I were watching the news in real time as it was reported, and no one really knew what to think until the moment the second plane hit. That’s when I feel like everyone collectively went, “OH FUCK”.
This is actually a real broadcast from the morning of September 11th 2001, nothing here is edited in the slightest. It comes from NBC News’s broadcast of the attack at around 8:50-8:59.
I think only one of the towers is burning. If that's the case then it was believed the damage came from a private plane without terrorist intents, until the 2nd tower was hit.
0:00 “McDonalds, ok…” 0:03 “Well how can that go wrong? Let’s see.” 0:04 “This video isn’t long enough to get across why it’s bad ad placement” 0:08 “Is cos they’re not smiling?” 0:09 “Oh.” 0:10 “Oh no.”
Fun Fact: there was a vacation travel ad where a woman in an office building made and threw a paper plane across NYC, and you can even see one of the twin towers in the background in one shot. Written on the plane were the words "I'm on my way". The commercial aired at the same moment the first plane got hijacked.
@@StarsandBarsRecords They didn’t cut for commericals after they started broadcasting it, only before because they didn’t even know it had happened yet lol
I remember seeing a burger commercial for twin burgers like 2 burgers attached to one another and the next thing is a documentary about siamese twins or some shit ☠️
In all seriousness, that mcdonald's slogan really took me back as that used to be one i remember more than the Loving It jingle at times. Never thought I'd see it again HERE of all videos!😂
My theory: they putted this ad, so the americans would go mc'donald, and eat all the pain. With increse the budget and that's why theres so many of them.
Well, there was the episode where Brian and Stewie undid 9/11 and later had to restore history or whatever, and they actually celebrated “making 9/11 happen” before Stewie realized that probably wouldn’t look good without context. Not to mention the gag in a different episode where Peter sees Lois watching the news coverage and says that it “Must’ve been a woman pilot”, WHOMP WHOMP.
This was a rollercoaster. At first i thought it was gonna be 9/11. Then i doubted myself for a second when the ad ended and it wasnt instantly 9/11. Then the towers were shown and i realized i was tricked. 10/10 cinematic masterpiece would watch again
Yeah, that didn't work out very well for them. I didn't see it that early, but I assume that was the final commercial. I was in California, 3 hours earlier, and emerged to see the set on with only ONE tower standing! Every random thought you can imagine ran through my head, but the biggest was feeling like an abandoned child in a dangerous situation. George DUBYA Bush was president, not his father: I'm a Democrat but I SO wanted his father to be president at that moment! Another person screamed into a phone "America is under attack!" So explaining "what it was like" is impossible, really. It was like nothing else in my lifetime. It does really make me ache for countries where this sort of destruction is an everyday thing. Hardening yourself to such a thing has to wreck something deep inside you. This wasn't normal, and it should never, ever be normal for anyone, anywhere. I don't know if I'll live long enough to see peace on earth.
It’s honestly sad how the internet labels incidents like 9/11 as a joke. It’s pathetic. My best friend died when the first tower was attacked. Please pray for him and his family, as it left a tremendous scar on them 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 (On other notes, he was a good pilot😢)

I had a gut feeling that it was a 9/11 joke since I've seen something many lately, and I saw a new york city background in the video quality from 2000-2006.
I remember reading a news article about a girl who lost her hand in a meat grinder accident. About halfway down the page was an ad for a Ninja blender. I wish I could post the screenshot here
