Sad to see this ride go. One of the originals from when the park opened 50 years ago. Rode this a lot back in the day and will always have fond memories of it. I appreciated Six Flags still finding a way to keep it around in some capacity after the addition of American Thunder.
Hey Tom another fun video! I remember as you do wen i was a kid it was the coolest thing to drive those cars. Lol. Hope you had a nice 4th of july with you're family. As I mentioned before my boy and I went to Branson did some fishing at Lilly's Landing awesome place by the way. First time we fished lake Taneycomo, my Son did really well caught a couple of nice sized trout. Went to SDC super crowded but to be excepted. Great fireworks. When are you going on your Fl. Trip?? Bigger Foot Awesome 4th....thank you. Sounds like yours was nice too. Great job on the trout! We actually just pulled into Cabana Bay Beach Resort in Universal Orlando this morning. Gonna start hitting the parks tomorrow and then off to the beach! Will definitely be posting some videos soon!
SDC is only crowded if you go the wrong time.. I go in April and its not bad all all, most rides you can just get right on, and often if you want to ride a second time they will let you, sometimes even a third.
This ride used to be so much better before they built American Thunder...The track is extremely short now and there is nothing to look at except a bunch of chain link fencing around the base of the roller coaster. Not even worth the wait in line anymore. :(
This ride, like the rest of six flags over mid America when to the shitter a long time ago. Ive been going since the early 70's as a young kid, and every since the mid 80's its gone down hill. I don't even bother going anymore.
