This train was a real surprise, we had no idea this was to be part of our itinerary. Just our tour group and the whole train to ourselves, unbelievable. Its always sad to see old trains left to the elements, but they can't save them all and many examples are kept undercover in museums around the countries that were once part of the former Yugoslavia. I'm glad you enjoyed taking this ride with me. Tim.

Bonjour, je suis heureux que vous ayez apprécié la balade. Je n’ai eu que quelques instants pour installer la GoPro avant le départ du train et je devais retourner à mon wagon. J’ai l’habitude de brancher un bloc d’alimentation externe, mais cette fois-ci, je n’ai pas eu le temps. Il s’est avéré que j’ai fait la majeure partie du voyage sur une deuxième caméra - ruclips.net/video/nroMkzAzGyQ/видео.html je suis en Allemagne aujourd’hui pour me préparer à filmer des trains à voie étroite dans la neige. J’espère avoir un bon film vidéo.
Interesting video. You also showed us a tiny glimse at two of the Krauss-Maffei diesel locos (ML 2200 C'C') that pulled this train before. What I missed though is a more close look at the interior of the coaches today. Have they ben refurbished? Are they used in regular service?
Hi, the Krauss-Maffei diesel locos have an interesting history, it would have been nice to get a look around the depot where the carriages are normally stored. There are a number of photos after the 38:00 mark in this video showing the interior of the carriages, there condition was very good, if they have not been restored they have been very well looked after. The carriages see very little use other than occasional charter or special trains, I have seen just one other video showing them on a special train to Bar in Montenegro.
Hi, Tim. Are these coaches developed with own power supply generator or other equipment under the car frame was loud this way? (hm, too many questions I have) The Rc class locos are one of my favour classes, as pioneers in thyristor controlled rectifiers and power supplies. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Hello Jan, I don't think there were any powered generators on the carriages, but I think there were some dynamos driven from the ends of some of the axles. The JŽ class 461 locomotive is similar in appearance to the Rc class locomotive, both being built by ASEA - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C5%BD_series_461 and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SJ_Rc
