I usually send my images to a retoucher who generally gets my work back to me in a day. How well does Evoto AI remove noise from portraits taken at high ISO?
I tried both LrC and Topaz Photo AI, but there are issues with certain areas of the face. With Topaz, I noticed that that AI consistent makes the noise look blurry when it does the denoise.
Pretty darn good but I feel like that’s one of the areas that AI in all programs keep developing across the board

Is it AI meets lightroom? I use photo scape X pro but would love to take on something more professional. I don’t do photoshop like changes like I would see in fantasy like photos, just want to fix a few colors, remove distracting elements, brighten this, darken that..can I do it with this? How much is it ?

How does this compare to Luminar NEO ? in terms of retouching, speed, etc
very very different programs. Evoto is for retouching and fast, luminar neo for more detailed retouching IMO

Hm..just tried it...wana put a more earthy tone to the pictures. With the skin tones you can choose it but not for the entire pucture or am i missing something 😵💫
Go to the develop tab on the top right. That’s where you change all the basic raw settings including color
Dude I was so excited about this until saw how this credit thing works. I just…I don’t know man I mean wedding wise I know 200 photos in my opinion is enough for a wedding but don’t like the $84 for 1200. Im just a second shooter though so it’s possibly worth it for me. Going to dig into it and see if I can sell it to myself with the 5 credits I get.
I feel like it’s better than a subscription which you may or may not use 🤷🏻♀️

@@VanessaJoy Credit expires after a year so it's basically a subscription and that's not even the worst part...it's a "depleting subscription"
As soon as this time-saving (it's-so-easy) Ai wave becomes common knowledge amongst the Brides-to-be, they'll be expecting cheaper pricing from photographers. They don't see all the monthly app subscriptions mounting up!
I went through this type of thing during the transition from film to MF digital in the late 90's. The big retail clients, who were already not paying for film scans anymore, expected photographers to be doing the cmyk file conversions for print as well - cause it was so easy.
It was bloody messy, but we got through it.
See I think they’ll be expecting faster turnaround time, but not cheaper since it technically costs more for AI than doing it myself.
the fuckery started when digital replaced film and the intro of photoshop. Ohhh so now people expect the photographer to shoot AND RETOUCH them into perfection because you can, ohh you don't have to pay for a scan so just do in PS, no problem, BUT that takes money, TIME and skill, but it takes TIME, time I don't have any desire to spend. I was named a Master of the Craft by Grace Ormonde in 2007, been published dozens of times, shot weddings for Sports Illustrated ( Shakara) and Victoria Secrets models (Stephanie Clegg) and for the CEO of Uber (Dara K) and plenty of other people and the reason why I stopped shooting weddings about 8 years ago was because I am a photojournalist, I want to capture reality not superficial puff, (not to say those people were superficial but just stating the trend among many) I was killing it in Miami and beyond for over a decade ( shot weddings in 17 countries) but guess what, the richer my clients got the less satisfaction I got from shooting them so I packed my Nikon away for events, I still shoot other things but not events. We live in a template culture and these innovations to make people look flawless is impressive sure but when I look at a photo with no meaning or emotion behind it BUT its retouched wonderfully, I could give a shit. I am not going to shoot in the Barbie world for the filter generation. I shot my first wedding with a Nikon Fe-2 on twenty three rolls of tri-x.

@@VanessaJoy well I wouldn’t say that it’s bad. Just normally I think you have more of a “news caster-ish” tone. And this time, it seemed a bit more higher pitched or “youthful” if you want to call it that. Maybe the news caster tone lends itself better for a more authoritative image. To be honest I had to check to make sure I was watching the same person. 😂

let us stop and think about this, all-new Speedlite 470EX-AI, now AI photo retouching what will be next AI you tube videos ?? i am not against AI however i can see where AI will replace the photographer. We can get a AI to develop and market a photographer and then a AI will do most of the work in turn this will reduce the value of the human photographer. thoughts on this please please?

Super expensive compared to imagen
The two programs almost do nothing the same. Imagen is meant for calling ans basic editing, this is meant for retouching. You’re comparing apples to oranges. They are two completely different tools.

Why?
You can do all these in Photoshop, even in some apps on your phone, so should they ban those too? Evoto just makes it all easier, saving you hours of editing.
@@VanessaJoy not that we misunderstand each other, the tools are ingenious. i also like to use chatGPT, dall-e etc. but you have to consider that these tools probably create a normalization or smoothing of expertise. what effect this will have remains to be seen. like everyone, i am very curious about what will happen.
