Stephen my 7 year old went as a gun totin patriot for Halloween. He had an American flag mask and cape, and his captain America chest plate.
Schools are teaching kids what to think not how to think..critically/logically or otherwise..so then when the news comes along they have no reason to question what they're being told.

It's so true. People really don't take the time to look into things. This goes for people on both sides of whatever the argument is. Research what is being said within the context, and "facts" start to changes REAL quick.

Great Discussion. Thomas Sowell wrote about this stuff. He pointed out that the black subculture in the U.S. is a predominant factor in the problems here. Black folks that emigrate here from other cultures, such as the Caribbean or Nigeria, have no such problems here because they didn't grow up or live the American black subculture. There is much more to it, but he basically blames culture as the problem. Not race or poverty. There are very poor people in Appalachia. But they don't have gang problems or murder problem. They have drug problems. But most result in overdose deaths, not gang deaths. Its so complex. But the bottom line is that racism isn't the problem. Culture is. You should invest in some Thomas Sowell books. He already did the work. Good reaction. Love your channel.

You hit the nail on the head about kids running wild w/o and dad in the house. Moms aren't strong enough to control teenage boys like my mother couldn't control me as a teenager, dad would've kicked my ass. Dads trying to raise daughter's alone can't show them how to be a women just like I couldn't with my daughter. This country needs to start supporting the traditional family unit again instead of trying to break it apart.

Lex is correct on our education system! Sadly our educational system teaches our children to not think, but to follow and be obedient. There so many intelligent children that go through our educational system that are thrown aside because they’re thinkers, or get bored way to easily. If everyone did their research they would see that our educational system only blesses those that obey, and are able to memorize and follow!

I love where you were talking about being to poor countries and seeing how even though they were poor the places were safe. I live in Bangkok and even when I used to be out at 2am I never felt in danger. I took my wife to the Hospital for a check up and there was no parking there so we drove around trying to find a place to park. We ended up parking gravel and bits of glass next to the train tracks in a run down neighborhood with some plywood houses. I just smiled, nodded and greeted to locals. I realized afterword that if that were a US neighborhood I would have felt unsafe and unsure to leave my car.

Lex nailed it, the education system is more of an influence on our children than the music culture, but as a parent especially now it's important to know what influences surround your kids, and you two rock and compliment each other so well
Yo me and brothers ands sisters had to educate our parents on politics, it was generational problem in our area and still is. Willful ignorance is an epidemic among those who keep voting against their best interest.

I am a white guy that has been praying that black people start understanding and spreading this wisdom. I hope that doesn't sound condescending, it's not, I just know that I can't reach those people that don't want to be reached. I see you all as my brothers. You ever had someone you care about be mad at you for no reason and just want to tear you down so you have to close yourself off and put up walls? We all brothers. But to answer Lex, "what if it really is..." Even if there is hella systemic racism, and black folks be getting locked up left and right. Would that still happen if those people were home studying? going to work legit jobs? going home to their wife and kids at night? Even if racism was as bad as some want to make it out to be, a shift in culture would dramatically change the outcomes. Don't get me wrong, there is racism, KKK still has like 3,000 members or something (.001%) but they do exist. And there are probably people who act with prejudice based on fear related to stereotypes associated with race and ethnicity. But systemic racism? no. Nobody cares what your melanin content is, they care if you have good character, if you're honest, if you demonstrate integrity and values and work ethic. I don't use the "N" word, never have, never will. Not because I don't want to be seen as racist, just because that word doesn't convey any kind of message I want to express. I don't use cracker or hillbilly or white trash either. Well to be honest I sometimes use hillbilly to describe where I grew up, but not in a derogatory way. The meek will inherit the earth. Some people misunderstand that to mean that people who are subservient and weakly will inherit the earth, NO! Meekness is great power restrained, incredible strength exercised with gentleness. That's what a King is. Sorry for rambling.
I live in a poor, white neighborhood in Indiana and there are no murders, no gang violence, no drive-bys. It’s quiet. My kids can camp out in the backyard and I don’t have to worry about it. It’s not about poverty.

I am glad you got around to doing Topher, his songs are awesome. If you want to get more in-depth about the root of wokeness, look up James Lindsey's video about Antonio Gramsci. Also the problem with why people commit more crime than others, there is no one causal factor, it is usually a combination of things that all lead to a perfect storm. Single parenthood, poor education, music and culture and poverty all play roles.

Whether it is a young person getting mixed up in similar circumstances that decides to Not hang with those friends tonight, or a father deciding to be more involved with his kid/s, or a single mother deciding to encourage/let the father be more involved. Any one of those scenarios could have a positive impact for someone, somewhere. 👍👊
