I have a theory on Onslaught. I think that Professor X’s forced mind meld into Magneto’s mind actually somehow sent a piece of magnetos mind into professor X’s mind and a piece of professor X into magneto’s mind wighout either party knowing. And those will be the seeds that alter the both of them and at some point one of them will connect their minds in the other creating Onslaught.
This episode was actually overwhelming and like I was actually worried for quite a few minutes whether if all the characters will make it through alive or not. The superhero cameos, the emotions, the fight sequences, the background score was a complete rollercoaster ride, it gives me so much hope and happiness for the future seasons of this show, cannot wait for season 2, 3, and 4. (I hope they revive Spiderman 1998 series, loved his and Mary Jane's cameo.) The opening sequence was really nice, I initially thought we were watching a flashback or memory of Magneto with Professor X in the past as young scientists post-WWII, but then the reveal happens that they are both in Magneto's mind, as Professor X is trying to repair his fractured psyche. I am surprised they did not do the Onslaught route, where Magneto's resentment, anger, bitterness overpowers Professor X's abilities and their minds are merged as the new, unstoppable entity known as Onslaught. Cable's psionic moment with his parents was very touching. Cyclops cutting loose against Bastion and Jean as the Phoenix incinerating Bastion was such a high moment. Young En Sabah Nur is eventually destined to become Apocalypse, kind of like young Nathaniel Richards is eventually destined to become Kang the Conqueror. Gambit is going to become Apocalypse's Horseman of Death. Mother Askani who raises young Nathan/Cable in distant future is actually a much elder version of Rachel Summers, the daughter of Scott and Jean. Bishop's back in the present and the he references his friendship with the much older version of Forge in the distant future, it reminded me of the friendship with the Protagonist and Neil in the movie Tenet. All in all, 10/10.

I hope in season 2 we get the storyline of scarlett witch and quicksilver being Magneto's kids. As far as season 1 it was amazing and I hope these same people handle the x-men in live action. Favorite Hero: Batman
With Onslaught they could have him be in season 2 although feel like having Apocalypse 4 horseman and Onslaught would b a bit too much to cram into like 10 episodes. I imagine with Onslaught S2 is when we'll get glimpses of him something similar to Apocalypse in S1 then he'll be a or the big villain for S3
We got it on a Wednesday in the UK but I thought I was a kid on Saturday morning again really can't wait till next year hopefully we will get onslaught so the avengers hellp like the comic then it could go into X-Men v avengers.

I don't know when they set this up but when we see Scott Cyclops dancing I thought that was a real person it looked like they did motion capture on a real-life person dancing and then put the screen capture stuff the animation over it so it looks like it was a real person dancing but they were animated I know that's easier to do nowadays with computer programs looking at real live people and superimposing you know like movements on them so you have people dressed up as a cats that like look like cats and their movements are put to the face and the body it looked similar to that I mean kind of had that effect but you can tell it was still animated but it looked like it was live caption motion capture and I don't know how they did it but they did an awesome job of doing it it looked cool I never expected Scott to dance he's always too serious to dance and the only time I've seen him dance was at his wedding Okay and that was a slow dance with the jeans less Madeline cause we still don't know which one he married and when they were switched off he was during their honeymoon. so he married Jean He replaced Madeline and had sex with Madeline for the honeymoon or after the honeymoon they had you know sex because they had Nathan obviously but that was the only time we were saw them dance was when their marriage started And I've never seen Scott Dance anywhere else other than just that piece where he's like coming out like he's a contestant on the price is right or so you can think you can dance where did you learn those moves by the way he never danced he never had a chance to learn how to dance Shaking his fist in the hair twirling around shaking his **** it's just it's just funny for me to see that because it looks so it definitely looks like motion cap here and then the animation put over that but it looks well done I have to admit it was well done and Scott's not a bad looking guy. you know I mean gene is gorgeous but they got luck is unfortunate the genetics on that part of it didn't prove true I mean cable's not all that good looking but then again he's had a rough life so
We NEED a WHOLE Season of Xmen vs Avengers..... Maybe we get this with ONslought as the Badguy. It would be greeat to havbe a whole season seen thru the eyes of the Avengers AND the Xmen. I just hoope they chose Not too b/c the MCU wants too use that as well!
This show was amazing a big part of me hopes that this is a clue the how the MCU will be after secret wars with stories that are amazing intertwined with a truly connected marvel univers
To any fans who are not watching X-Men 97 i say good riddance! Tired of salty fanboys and fangirls getting triggered over trivial issues. Because the reality is that the mutant narrative has always been about racism. Along with that, they have always dealt with all types of bigotry. So, I fail to see why some "fans" are upset with the context of the series. Its been a fantastic series.
I think the X-men wanted to combat racial discrimination, but some think it's also a metaphor for sexual discrimination which I'm not sure I agree with

In the comics, as far as I remember, Onslaught was teased to a lot of different teams and characters before actually appearing.
Onslaught would show Apocalypse a power that he can embrace on his journey for his big monster form in the future.
One character that I didn't expect to see was Puck.

Don't know what's the issue but I just happy I guess that the writer had given us a great fan service turned story of the outcasts.
