Thanks Mike and I know haha. I’ll give them credit for excellent customer service and while I still don’t enjoy their regular bourbon or architect series these wine finished ones are decent with the standout being the tokaji cask.
Another veryyyy enjoyable review! Took your advice from your yearly review and got a Sagamore Sherry finish bottle. Indeed one of my fav bottles. Cant seem to find a port finish anywhere nowadays.
A couple of my local stores just started carrying Penelope. The cask strength (non finished),the Rose’ finished. I’m not sure what the 3rd one was. Great review!
I respect their pricing for barrel proof bourbon but I find almost everything to be too youthful and grainy. Not my jam. I’d love to see at least a 6-8yr release. Everything seems to be more like 4-5yrs but can sometimes come off like 2-3yrs.
Great notes as usual BBill. Gusty on Penelope's part to send to you. Props to them as well.

A man without fear. Thanks for the honest review.
Haha thanks for watching if you haven’t go watch my Penelope architect review that was a truly no holds barred venting

Thanks Anthony and the port was all but distillery only in Maryland.

Thanks James. Find one of those tokaji finished ones that’s the real star
Haha a major plot twist. My takeaway is that the rye tokjai finish was the only one worth the high price
That’s an astute view you have their lol 😉
Say it ain’t so! 😢 Bourbon Bill!!! It’s a sad sad day! 😊
Haha hey I still didn’t like the toasted lol. The tokaji finish one though is where it’s at
@@bourbonbill fair enough. Thx for your honest reviews! We appreciate it!

I agree with you 100% on their regular and barrel strength and toasted but the wine finished ones are decent
