This is fantastic. And that vocalist ?? Straight FIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great job all round guys 👊👊👊
Really appreciate the support from our Aussie pals! 🤟
Shout out to the "behind the scenes" crew. Great mix!
Getting Miachael McDonald to show up to play keyboards was epic...
I was thinking the same thing.
He has a torn bicep on top of all that! Great job, Dan!!
The young man is killing it on drums. Absolutely fabulous song. Thank you.
Immediately transported back to the 70s and low slow evenings with cheap, nasty Cold Duck. Ya know, when times were simpler and music was good. Thanks LLB.
Strawberry hills farm wine and TJ Swan Mellow days n easy nites wine😂❤
Mmmm hmmmm. Eyes closed. Toes tapping. In the groove. Incredible falsetto. I really love y’all’s vibe.
Amazing talent from top to bottom, my only question is why doesn’t LLB have at least 1M subscribers. Come on people let’s support this group!!!!
I agree...this band is AMAZING, they do an outstanding job on covers! You can tell they listen to the songs and keep it exact! NOW THATS PURE TALENT!
Absolutely!!! These guys and gals are AMAZING!!!
Those lead vocals….WOW!
It's so good to see Sam again. Any one member of LLB can take the lead vocals. But, most important to the member is to make perfect music, so each gives100% to their part. The outcome is awe inspiring. It's such a joy to watch. The world should be watching and learning.
Wow..... To listen to the soulful lyrics of a by gone era is intoxicating! Another great job by The Lexington Lab Band.... Please, keep the music coming! We love you.... ❤
Outstanding talents in this band
That’s the boss’s son on drums. Great to see the next generation coming through.
The isely brothers would be proud of the Ivory brothers here
Just wakin' up in the morning, gotta thank God - I dunno, but today seems kinda odd.
Absolutely sublime. New and old faces, giving me shivers with the memories of '77 when the Isley Brothers Go For Your Guns was constantly played on my ghettoblaster. And boy did you all nail this. Thank you so much for your efforts on this one. It's definitely going into my playlist for repeated viewings. Well done indeed!
This is absolutely amazing. Sam has such a great voice. Charlie is outstanding on the drums. Everyone does a fantastic job. Everyone and everything blends in perfectly. This song totally relaxes me. Great cover. As always the Lexington Lab Band never disappoints. They show up and show out. Great job everyone. Keep these awesome songs coming. Much love to you guys.
The diversity of this group of musicians is just amazing. 🤟
Yep
What a fantastic voice Sam has. I guess I speak for all LLB fans when I say give us more of that incredible voice. Once again a stunning cover. Thanks guys for this incredible piece of music.
Great job as always!! Gotta a different song suggestion... "From The Beginning " ,by Emerson Lake and Palmer. See you all in Ky. this summer!!
Love this one! Y’all knocked it out of the park.
That’s such tight number top players that boy can sing man backing vocals just beautiful
Seemed an odd choice at first. Became soulful and put me in the groove. Uall nailed it. WoW.. I loved it. TY for sharing your talents.
If you liked this, you should really check these guys out, they are simply The Best!
Fantastic job! Never disappointed
Smooth as a baby's bottom. Cooler than the other side of the pillow. That lead singer is a bonafide star. Well done!
oh man...
2 things:
the kid on the drums is a MASCHINE.
He truly has God-given talent. I hope he knows that and understands what it means. He will have a great career laying that groove DOWN. It is solid and righteous.
The brother singing lead is Ronnie Isley in the 70's man. No doubt. I can't think of another time I heard this song done like this other than the Isleys themselves.
You guys are GREASY. I think it's the American in y'all. IMHO all the other youTube cover bands (with the exception of the Band Geeks who are also American) have got that stank and funk in all the recordings that is the ineffable quality to what makes your sound singular and unique.
Yeh...you guys are just a cover band but you nail it and not just covering the tunes but there is now a certain LLB quality to it that is unmistakable.
Congratulations and keep up the good work.
Your pal from San Francisco, California, USA. I'm a fellow musician who works hard at it going on 40 years now, y'all.
One of the beat cover bands out there, the quality is superb to the last detail! Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
love me some Isleys!
that lazy bass line . . .
funky guitar . . .
rock solid drums . .
keys spot on
My computer screen must be getting old. These videos keep getting darker. 😄 Great music gang!
Not normally my style of music, but good to hear new stuff from ya'll
Just waking up in the morning, gotta thank god. Dunno but today seems kinda odd.
Excellent as always…
"Just woke up in the morning gotta thank God....don't know why but today seems kinda odd....
No barking from the dog, no smog...and Momma cooked the breakfast with no hog."
I absolutely love it! Man you guys did again. Sam jones is a talented musician. The whole band is a collection of talented musicians. I had to hear this more than twice.
Superbly performed; surperbly mixed. I didn't expect LLB to cover this one.
Nice...Smooth as buttermilk.
Pleasant, soothing vocals combined with perfectly performed instrumentation.
Sensational as usual. Have you every considered doing Champagnes "How about us"?
Ahhh yeesss...just here chilling with my best band L.L.B. 😊🎶🎸
The drummer looks about 13 years old. Well done young man!
I think it took Charlie a few minutes to get comfortable, but it was mighty fine.
Wonderful performance, I enjoyed the song. Thanks for sharing.
Ooh, this is a little different for them! They usually do classic rock. More R&B covers please!!
Lots of them up! Aretha, Chaka, Caldwell, Prince, Whitney… check them out!
Everyone LOVES the Isley Brothers!!!
As always, absolute perfection!
G’day I just thinking how long I’ve been a subscriber it must at least be around three years and in that time I have really enjoyed the Lexitington Lab Band, you are great and I always look forward to watching the band. Thank you kind regards John
Absolute magic!
Amazing, as usual. The Isley Brothers would be very impressed.
Loving the groove!
JUST BEAUTIFUL 🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤
This dude kicks ass ! Most underrated musician I've ever seen. Can effortlessly play this all the way to my favourite chilli peppers song "aeroplane" .. thankyou for that bloke ! G'day from Australia mate ! I've added you guys to my ultimate #1 covers playlist. Although don't stress, I've gotta slot Yaz in way up top when I get a chance. It's got like way over 500 odd songs + so far. And counting.
Sam's got the voice of an angel ! 😀❤
Not only top tier players but such attention to detail for the original material and pinpoint precision on the production side
Awesome cover! Everyone did a great job!
Wow. More R and B and Soul music like this. Excellent!
How about some Stevie Wonder
Superstition? Wouldn't that be great!
As per usual, LLB musicianship is truly top drawer. They never fail 🙏
Great job with a beautiful song. Suprise it hasn't been covered more.
I assume most people know this from B.I.G and his song was great, but this one is the best!
Magnificent! Although you all do everything well, this bluesy, jazzy, soulful music is the sweet spot for you guys, in my opinion. And we have Jessica back so of course all is right with the world.
Closing my eyes and imagining myself in a sultry gin joint in New Orleans with this smooth tune and my special lady for company.
That sounds absolutely euphoric on my new planar Magnetic headphones ! 😲
So friggin good❤
Amazing job everyone!
🔥 🔥 🔥 💯 Talent!!!
What albums would you suggest as their Best or perhaps a compiliation or collected?
Shoutout to the super vocals. The whole piece is so cohesive!
Love the Buc-ees hat Vandy!
Short ride to Richmond!
Lead singer has a killer voice. SRV-like.
Check out Sam singing SRV with us!
“Money for nothing” by dire straits next?
So excited you did this song ❤
Please cover Slades song “slave” love the solo in that song
Lead Vocals, and Everything else was spot on!!! 💯❤
Hauntingly soulful background vocals. Beautiful 😍
That was sublime. Liked and shared to the world.
Not my style of music but well done.
Im soo happy you all keep doing what you do!
So gloriously smooth and grooving, hooked from the first second. Inspired choice!!😇🥰
More and more soul, please! Love this!!!
ENJOY all the talent at LLB!
Not exactly my groove, but hey!! Still listened all the way through. How about some Doucette... Mama Let Him Play!!! Would love to see you guys do that!
Why is the band having different members now?
We rotate musicians every session. There is a 4 part documentary on your page that helps explain the history and process.
The best way that I can describe it is to say Smooth. Great job on this song LLB and some great vocals for sure. Love that bass guitar and how it rolls but yet it's soft. Great job all around my friends...
Always impressed with higth tight these guys are. No slop AT ALL. really very talented musicians...
As always Outstanding Job. Beautifully done. Love the Bucee's Hat!
That is exquisite! I really enjoyed more jazz covers because it displays more instruments and background vocals. Had I reside within North America, I would definitely watch them live.
Sorry guys, I love the performers , but this song is just ok imo.
Thanks for the apology. We’ll let the Isley Brothers know;)
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👏👏
LLB finally hit the "Sweet Spot" for me ..this performance is incredible !! Please keep this ensemble together for more of the same especially your son on drums and Sam on vocals. Vandy, you have set the "mark" for other bands to attain with the range of gendre and style LLB has obtained. No one can match in my estimation ...Keep up the excellent performances!!
Wish I could drill those high notes so easily...sweet! It always brings a smile to my face when you release a new song and I'm wearing my LLB t-shirt already to listen to it. 🙂
I was today years old when I realized that Ice Cube sampled the Isley Brothers for his song “Good day”. Thanks for the education LLB!
LLB definitely a cut above, especially when you have to record during recess
Magical! Now that was soulful! Loved it. Super job guys, well done. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍😄
Silky, smooth, perfection! Just like all of 'yall's productions!
Great Cover!
Another wonderfully done piece. Vocals excellent as well. Thanks..
Great funky beat. Released my senior year high school when Frampton, Aerosmith, Zep *ruled* the world. In my later years, this is now in my wheelhouse!
🥰🙌🔥🇺🇸🇨🇦
Not what I was expecting for the next release - who cares, it's fantastic and the vibe is ohhh so good.
Just wakin' up in the mornin', gotta thank God. I don't know, but today seems kinda odd.
this is beautiful music..a rare thing today..thx LLB
Amazing cover. Always love hearing Baxter on these R&B songs.
Really captured that 'Isleys' sound - great job.
Not y’all’s usual style, but right up there with the best of them!
Loving this!
