    Thanks for the video. I've got a few planes from eflite. (P-47, J3 Cub) both went together very well and they fly great. I'll be ordering the Extra next week. I'm sure it's going to be a great addition to my smaller foamie collection.

    Hey a question it sais 4 minute run time but how long would i get off a 4s 2300 mah going somewhat conservative on the throttle

    • @BALAZSER1
      @BALAZSER1  6 месяцев назад

      I don't know it depends on the wind and how heavy on the throttle you are.....

    Very helpful video. I would recommend a stand so you can flip the model over and we can see what you are doing on the bottom of the plane, mainly when you were installing the elevator/rudder links.

  • @strykerf27q1983
    @strykerf27q1983 5 лет назад +1

    I cant believe how fast you put this plane together. I had major issues with screws lining up and had to glue half my elevator on and I had to tear a wing out after I missed the screw holes and the screws got stuck in the foam in those recessed holes took me about 10 hours Lol. Flys Great stable but very responsive tons of power but like people are saying it doesnt prop hang as well as my ultimate 2. or maybe i just have to get used to it.

    • @BALAZSER1
      @BALAZSER1  5 лет назад +2

      strykerf27q1983 I had a little problem lining up some holes as you can see in the video, but wow, nothing like what you had!! It will prop hang, but you have to find the sweet spot, and that's not so easy lol!! If you want it to prop hang more easily, you have to add some tail weight slowly until you get it to your liking. I'm still experimenting with tail weight myself : ) I happy you got it together, it sucks that it took 10 hours, but sounds like you got it flying great!!!

    • @strykerf27q1983
      @strykerf27q1983 5 лет назад +1

      Thanks man and yeah it took less then 10 Hours more like 3 but still just as bad it felt like 10 hours thanks for the info on the tail weight. I'm really liking this plain I'm running my f 27 batteries which are 2200 4 cell timer set to 7 minutes cuz im not sure but I'm going to get some 3200mah. You must be getting 10 minutes with those?

    • @BALAZSER1
      @BALAZSER1  5 лет назад +2

      Ok cool!! Yeah, always feels like a long time when your ready to fly right away lol!! When I use my 2200 4s, I only fly for 4 minutes, because I flew for 5, and puffed a battery lol!! On the 3200 4s, I still only have flown for 4 to 5 minutes, but when I test how long it can fly on the 3200, I'll let you know!! The 2200, is way lighter, so you can throw the plane around more, but the 3200, balances the CG of the plane out more, so it' give, and take!! : )

  • @strykerf27q1983
    @strykerf27q1983 5 лет назад +1

    Great video I can't wait to order mine and after watching this I can see horizon put the heavy hinges on the rudder where there needed and probably used lighter ones probably the same kind as like in the stryker for the elevator with are plenty strong. Im not sure why guys where having issues but thanks for helping me decide that this planes for me.

    • @BALAZSER1
      @BALAZSER1  5 лет назад +1

      Thank's!! Someone complained about it being to long, but I just told them that's how long it took me lol!! I think its plenty strong too! I don't know why people are having issues either, but I haven't had any!! Your very welcome, and I don't think you will regret buying it, I know I don't!! Let me know how it goes!! : )
