- Hello and welcome to our new show called the Dyno is right! This is where we take your cars,put them on the dyno and have you guess the number - whoever wins first gets a free t shirt the next episode! I'm super excited for this and can't wait to share so many cool cars. This is a Suzuki Cappuccino with a bigger turbo upgrade. The cars compared to this like the Honda Beat all made around the same horsepower and were incredibly fun to drive while getting great gas milage. The Suzuki here is an Inline 3 cyl with 657 cc. Will the $1000 dollar turbo upgrade be worth it? Let's find out! Thanks for watching.

GDrift Don't convince yourself that it would win. Lighter and (especially with this turbo) faster in a straight line. Just because Takumi is fast in it doesn't mean it's a good car. In fact the entire point of the series is that Takumi is so fast despite his car being clearly inferior to that of his opponents.

I think there are kits to throw 13B rotaries in them. Possibly the turbo versions as well.

Pages say that this car can get to 106HP with a double the size turbo.
But considering what this car is I say 116
I am also saying these values cause my car is an 65HP hatch that can get to 105/110 with a bigger turbo.
you would need bigger injectors and some good tuning and it could make about 130.

David, you're definitely one of my favourite youtubers but here's a small constructive criticism I will make (as I am japanese). 'kei' is pronounced as 'kay' (meaning light as you probably know). Like I said, no hate on you brother! Other than that, great video. In japan, so many of these Cappuccinos do so well in autocross. I instantly fell in love with these when I saw drift videos of them

+Tommy Sandoval A lot do, although with 64hp, they were only favoured for downhill races. Not only the lack of weight, the appeal of these sporty kei cars (cappuccino, honda beat, Autozam AZ-1) were that they were a lot less to tax on (engine displacement size and weight of car tax) compared to say an NA MX-5, Nissan S-body RWD cars and AE86s. Kei cars have more options of where to park their cars too.
Mine was the three cylinders twin cam twelve valva 657cc engine intercooler turbo and water cooled turbo as well if I remember correctly

It's a front mid engine layout which give a 50/50 perfect waight split front to rear the engine sits behind the front axle towards to middle of the car when two medium size people get in the car the us supposed to have the 50/50 waight distribution .

Sigma Projects Kei Cars are limited to 666 cc engines, so yeah. A ninth of a liter and .9 liters is plain wrong

I think that about 87HP. This is really small engine and I don't think that you can give it a lot of boost.
Also I don't know if that's just me, but engine head, covers, etc. is looking like RB20DET...
Also that Turbo was really small.
i wouldnt think the factory exhaust can push any more gasses out, huge restriction.

You said that was a T28? That is way too much turbo for a 660cc engine. That turbo is capable of near 300whp on SR20DET's.
(I know I'm way too late to guess but I'll try anyway) So if you can get this to spool, and can run a good amount of extra boost and supporting mods this should be capable of 110-120whp. But it might take until 7000rpm to spool it.
Without extra mods just running a bigger turbo at near stock boost levels...then probably only 20-30whp.
Shouldn't there be a wing?, or was that the Miata?
75whp......now you just need to put that precision turbo on it for the next episode then we can start guessing at what rpm it hits 1psi of boost
