The color for Superman is perfect. Something Mattel can't seem to get right
Im excited to see what Mcfarlane toys is gonna do with the DC line next year. They got the license rights to DC so gonna be exciting i hope.

Out of all the Superman figures i've seen this is the best one. NECA really knows how to make superman look good.

I thought in the comics that Superman fought the alien on a different planet, which caused Supes' powers to fade away. Thus kind of evening up the playing field.
Superman gains his powers from the sun and where the story takes place is too far from the solar system.
That's right, somewhat. It was Argo City, a domed city adrift in space which had a language similar to Kryptonese, which Supes goes to investigate through a Lexcorp expedition (Not Lex in charge, of course, since he'd been ousted after that son/clone debacle) and, indeed, starts losing his powers after being away from the sun. A FANTASTIC story, really. I really doubt, however, that's the story these figures are based on or trying to portray. First of all, that was LONG-HAIRED Superman in that story (as per late 90's, short after his resurrection), and also, these figures' design has got absolutely nothing to do with that book's art style. Superman has a leaner design, with a big jaw and sorta beedy eyes, and his hair is flatter (not as bushy as usually made)....not to mention long. The aliens, on the other hand, while they more or less looks the same as always, are shown as more mechanical and somewhat geometrical, not so round and organic. These are good figures, to be sure, but they are decidedly not based on that one crossover.

Still wish they would of done a separate release for the heroes from the alien dc vs alien line🤦♂️…all them are close to their comic counterparts.especially that supes reminds me of the john byrne supes
It sucks we could never get this look from McFarlane. The closest one is Hush Superman, but he looks so deformed with small thighs.
Great set! The thumbs on his flight hands look really weird--almost broken. Holy crap that heat ray blast is very long. Good thing the plastic is tough and not so weak it breaks. Really good head sculpt on Supes. It's cool they used the classic cape with the yellow S on back. Nice short black shiny hair and chiseled face. Very nice vibrant blues, reds, and yellows in his costume. Really good articulation. Very cool Xenomorph sculpt. Very cool shiny black and purple dome on the Xenomorph. Pretty good articulation on the Xenomorph. The action set up using the stands looks awesome. Major applause for NECA. Fine job. Thanks Spot for a cool review!

These are really cool figures. I think the Alien should've included an Alien egg that's open with a removable face hugger and a chest burster Alien accessory. I honestly think NECA missed the opportunity to make a spring-firing jaw action also. I think this Alien figure needed some accessories..

I see a little Mattel hating! They've done some good figures especially in recent years I like a lot of the ideas put forward, but I agree, their quality sucks, I can't wait for Todd McFarlane.

The design and intricate details of the xenomorph is astounding. But the height is a big fucking fail. That thing is as tall as a queen, especially with its knees extended. Fucking ridiculous
