This is when Capcom knew just how important sound and music was in an arcade environment, listening to this theme when you were gonna finish the game on your quarter made it completely worthwhile and priceless when you won. Especially the heavy beats around 1:53, when it would probably be Round 2 depending on your character (12 for me). That's when it was nice to hear and play.
I don't know what it is about certain final bosses, but it's like, you worked hard to get here, your adrenaline is at an all-time high, your heart is racing, and you're scared you're going to mess up. You're determined to do everything you can to beat this evil bastard! But then you get killed, and that was your last quarter / token.

hes also banned in comp and has some crazy combos. hill can do a fifty percent into stun than contenue the combo. so pretty much he can kill you in one combo
Well he is not that hard if you try to block all of his attacks until the timer stops all you have to do is make him lose more health than you this make this boss way easier even more with dudley (basically all you have to do is fight like floyd mayweather maybe this sounds cheap but hey that piece gutter trash Gill is even worse)
S.C.H 2.8 if you are facing the cpu. A human gill can be the most cancerous thing of all time. They know the overheads and lows so it's really hard to block. Not only that alot of gills moves are save and its hard to punish. I find gill to be the asm1 of streetfighter

In SF2 we had Bison flicking off his cloak to get the fight started. In SF3 we have Gill calmly passing a book he was reading to his attendant while being surrounded by his shrouded followers, who then all walk off screen while Gill Proceeds to cook all of his clothes off his body. As you do.
Not usually a fan of cults or "well-intentioned extremists"...but the fact Gill is genuinely charismatic and his selection is based on strenght, achievement and prowess rather than arbitrary crap...this is one of the few cults I could actually pay attention to.
This track is one of the best things ever made. The feeling of the final round just starting out and the track hitting the 2:33 timestamp is just incredible.
I remember when I first got to Gill when I was 9. I would listen to the music in the sound options and play on Gill's stage in vs matches. But eventually i managed to make it to Gill for the first time. I heard 0:00 - 0:30 as my character was approaching Gill. That was intimidating to me cuz Gill looked like he meant business seeing all his goons and Kolin with him as I keep hearing all the harmonizing. After realizing Gill was the Rocket Popsicle looking guy from the opening it cured my curiosity as to who Gill was. Then the multiple beatings happens. Despite all the rage that experience was what made Gill my favorite villain in Street Fighter (Tied only with Akuma and Juri).
