This is my favorite theme. It’s a mixture between killing moon (Akuma’s theme), Twilight (Ibuki’s theme) and Snowland (Necro and Twelve’s theme) Psych Out is perfection.
Interestingly, though, I used to think of Killing Moon as being a combination of this track and Twilight and not the other way around, but I guess that makes sense; I'm not quite sure I notice the Twilight leitmotif in this one though.
Additionally, his character itself could be a mixture of other characters themselves as well; Urien (same stance and similar moveset, and he's his brother), Yun and Yang (the twins kind of representing Fire and Ice based on their personality, with Gill representing a balance between the two, like the Yin-Yang), and Alex (Somewhat similar hair and face, and Alex being his rival and playing a role in the story and his ending).

I don't understand people who say his second impact theme is better. yeah, it's good, but this is a much better theme overall and gives him a much more mysterious and badass theme, whilst the second impact theme is more angelic, this one hammers in the themes of his two sides, with the bass feeling somewhat warm while the synths and the melody give off a cold feeling. this theme is also made more sense as a battle theme, whilst Nile feels like something that could only be played during his ending or his introduction.
Yeah, I would actually agree that it better represents both his sides, but consider this; the Judgment Day theme from New Generation has a more sinister/villainous feel (his stage even has lava flowing), which could represent his fire side, and then Nile sounds more ethereal/'cool', which could represent his ice side, and then this one could represent both of them mixed together. I like this theme too, but I guess I would have to say I prefer Nile because it gives me chills and evokes a feeling I hadn't gotten from this one; I played 3rd Strike on an emulator when I was young and never really played NG or 2I, so it felt different and new to me.
