Don Frye has a voice of a old gun slinger in a western movie probably some of the most devastating clinch strikes I have ever seen still love the way he would sometimes just absorb punishment just to lay someone out
His nightmare is that Freddy Mercury & Tom Selleck gave birth to mustache that took roids. ••• He woke up and realized he’d fallen asleep to a RUclips video of Don Frye. Then he remembered he fought Bruce Lee and was an icon. So he started counting his millions of dollars 💸 and fell back to sleep.
Sime people just have that edge. Some people are built different. Don F was a beast. Couldn't wait till for his fights to see him destroy someone. He was different
Great video Frye was my absolute favourite in my teens Everything i thiught a man should be still a fan all these years later. Frye Takayama & Guida Sanchez are the standard for warriors
Don frye my favourite boxer, he looks like my Dad, he reminds me of my dad, Don frye is powerful, what a proud respected fight, the end was beautiful, 2 great powerful men. 🤛 💪 🦋 🐝
Anyone that can pull of a whip like that and a pair of red speedo pants and come away looking like the manliest man to ever man it up...gets my respect all day 😂❤
God could you imagine what that Frye and Ruas would have looked like. Both fighters, respectively showcasing the evolution and trajectory of the sport and where it was heading
Don was just the perfect specimen for these oldschool MMA rules. a 6'1 220lb LEAN and just couldn't be put down. These are the closest we'll ever see what a real fight would look like, can't be properly taken down by BJJ masters due to his size, so he can just put his knee on the opponents chest and beat them senseless.
What an absolute legend. Everyone says that today's mixed martial artists are way more skilled, and that may be true, but none of them are as hard as guys like Don were in that era, fighting 3 times in a night for a belt and 10+ times in a year.
For Frye to win his match against the Brazilian ju jitsu master was a testament to how outstanding of a fighter he was. He had the size, a thick large solid build, Frye had to be very strong, and the all around skills in MMA to win the majority of his fights. Frye the Predator? More like the Beast.
Not sure if it’s true, but I once heard that Don’s moustache and voice took on an entire redneck bar and kicked their asses while Don sat in the corner drinking.

Great video mate keep them coming subscribed
I saw a comment once that said Don Frye is everything you thought your dad was when growing up and I love it haha
Don was on Rogan's podcast. There was a comment saying that as Don spoke into his microphone it started to grow a mustache and full set of balls.
@@buckfiden6187😂😂😂😂
As a dad, that's a tough standard to live up too. Lol
@@buckfiden6187"full set of balls" 😂😂
Lol, so true. He's an old school man's man.

I met him this weekend here in jersey and that’s right about his voice, and overall one cool dude!!!
The best fighters are the ones who aren’t afraid to get hit. Don Frye is an animal.
Arizona ranger
Literally looks like omni man 😂

Chuck Norris has nightmares about Don Frye.
Ha hahaha yeah most like it he has...

Chuck Norris always has a made sandwich on the ready in case he runs into Don Frye.
@@iamskippy interesting sidenote he was born with it!
Of course, I mean the mustache
Don Frye’s mustache isn’t just a single firefighter, it’s the whole department
They don't make them like don Frye anymore......
Strickland a regen
Sean Strickland and Nate Diaz to me are the closest based on them loving to fight
I don't even know who my top five fighters are, but I know Don Frye is in it. Always carried me away when he fought.
His style reminds me of the Diaz brothers
I've had the pleasure of getting to know Don lately and not only is he a major bad ass in the ring but he is one hell of a good person too. Great guy.
Don Frye is Omni-Man
He's thragg actually
Definitely could have played him in his prime if it had been around
Favorite fighter of all time!
Watching him he was way ahead of his time actually looks pretty well rounded and good
Yep...he's THE reason I started watching MMA.
A true legend!
Nonsense he's a meathead
Don "The Predator" Frye and Dan "The Beast" Severn.... My favorites fighters!
Sime people just have that edge. Some people are built different. Don F was a beast. Couldn't wait till for his fights to see him destroy someone. He was different
His fight against Ken Shamrock was insane. I loved watching both fighters.
Yes it was. Crazy that Ken got him into a submission twice and Don didnt tap out either time and ending up winning the fight.
Don was amazing a true beast !
He made his place in history that's for sure. He's right there with Mike Tyson Muhammad Ali and Evel Knievel. Don is a legend

Nice video mate! What a fighter he was
Don beating a BJJ champ in 1996 is so damn impressive. And you're looking at a good DOZEN fights in one year. For UFC fighters now, 3 is a lot.
strenght goes away with time but a good heart will keep the same till our last day. That is what i like about this fighters.

They sure are.
Also. I hope you've seen the Wanderlei Silva vs Brian Stann fight too, right?
Those elbow swipes with the point of the elbow are brutal and will cut someone open quick
Some say, behind Don’s moustache is another fist.
That is good!!!
Love the commentary. Keep the videos coming!
Id let this guy fight for Earth Realm in Mortal Kombat
Thanks for posting 😊
Fun fact, Don Frye's mustache can bench press 350 pounds
That's a myth.........it can bench 375

Chuck Norris tells Don Frye jokes.
Lol Don looks like a shot caller in the AB
Missing a few tattoos, but I could see it.
You know Frye meant business with a beautiful mustache like that
What was the soundtracks used for this video? Those guitar segments sound awesome
The moustache added 10 points in punching power. 💪🏼
Those back of the head elbows were brutal
Great video!!
Never heard of him til a week ago. Instant Idol.👏🏽🦅
I watched him as very young lad with my older brother and I was terrified.
Absolute beast!
Love Don Frye!
Congratulations on being in love
This was an

“Terrorist Suck” what a classic T-shirt from Frye

When UFC only have 1 Champion The True Ultimate Fighter I miss 90s.
had the honor to meet this guy in vegas. he was walking around with a book and some whiskey and cowboy hat. recognized him right away.
Don Frye & Fedor Emilianenko are my favorite fighters of all time.
The only person dubbed “predator” who is an honorable man
If he was in his prime today, with all of the advances in fighter HEALTH, I wonder how successful or MORE/LESS successful he would be???
Godzilla fans know Don Frye's true power.

Don: Alright coach, where do we begin?
Dan: We begin....with the mustache.

I freaking love Don Frye. Such a beast.
They don’t make Don Frye’s anymore… that model has been discontinued. It proved to be extremely explosive, highly volatile, & downright dangerous. 😂
Frye is a legend.
Don Frye is the closest thing to Captain America we have.
If Brad Pitt was Edward Norton’s alter-ego in the movie “Fight Club” then is Don Frye is Tom Seleck’s alter-ego in the UFC
Anyone else think this guy would have made a great omni man in a live action movie?
Spitting image of Omni man
How do end up with a 29-1 record when you lose 3 out 4 of your last fights lol? Can someone explain this to me?
What an absolute legend. Everyone says that today's mixed martial artists are way more skilled, and that may be true, but none of them are as hard as guys like Don were in that era, fighting 3 times in a night for a belt and 10+ times in a year.
Holy shit that elbow at 4:58 would get a fighter jail time nowadays😂😬

I was thinking:
What if Burt Reynolds and Steve Austin had a love child.

Have you done a similar exposé on Dan Severn?
